I was excited to find another witchy podcast to listen too, but I really struggled to connect to the episode I was listening to because of the amount of “likes” and “you know” filler words that were used. It personally distracted me too much. It might not bother other listeners, especially since there are so many good reviews. But for me, it was too much.

While I love the diversity of topics and guests, this podcast goes on a ton of tangents that aren’t even related to witchcraft. While anytime the podcast gets feedback they tend to get defensive and mention on their podcast that their listeners love their tangents, I find myself going to other podcasts for more informative content. The amount of times they have talked about the Pacific Ocean’s tides or under current or a story about driving during a tornado drill for example. We hear these random tangents several times. Often we were told we’d be getting a podcast about a certain topic and the convo veers into Facebook group boundaries.. while some might find that an important or interesting conversation, I came here to listen to a convo about bealtaine and I’m almost halfway through the podcast episode and the guest and hosts haven’t even gotten to the topic they are covering yet.. I find myself skipping ahead to try to find the relevant information to the episode topic. Maybe it’s hard to fill the air time of their podcast so they are willing to jump down rabbit holes but as someone who will often be excited about the guest or topic, I am sometimes disappointed that the actual topic is barely touched on

Episode 201, hands down my favorite episode to date!! I’ve never been so captivated by a guest on TWL where the time was up and I couldn’t believe 45 minutes had already passed! Fascinating stories, fascinating insights, just really appreciated LuLu. Please bring her back!!!!

Hilarious, insightful, and witty with just the right amount of sass…these witches know their stuff and inspire me to live my best witch life while honoring my own journey where I’m at day to day. The first part of each show feels we’re all gathered around the cauldron catching up on the latest gossip and shenanigans, sprinkled in with some practical magic, mentions of pigs, pizza guy updates, social justice news, witchy events, Kanani’s mom, and more. The second half of the show dives deeper into a huge variety magical topics that has really helped me navigate this delightful world of magic and mayhem. They all live full lives with full time jobs, have family responsibilities, and are very involved in their communities all while nurturing their own magical practices to share with us on the podcast. having a hard time getting through it bc they haven’t talked about the topic in the title. Also, there was a ton of product pushing… Buy this necklace, buy this tea, buy this moon coffee, subscribe to our box, go to out etsy store, etc. I listened to the houseplant episode thinking i could hear about houseplants but I’m over half way into the podcast and i’ve heard nothing about houseplants yet.

I’m two episodes in and I’m struggling to continue listening because of the amount of Hillary’s constant “likes” and “you knows” and worse “you know, likes”. Normally I don’t really notice stuff like this but it’s just A LOT especially during the Imbolc/Irish mythology interview.

Love their conversations in the beginning of the podcast and love who they interview and how they go about the interview. Never boring and always fun and I always learn something new.

These witches make me crazy and I love this podcast! These women are real. They make me laugh and I sometimes scream at them in my car! This aging queer cis boy is new to the craft and this podcast has held my hand through my process. The guests on their podcast and their own unique voices push me deeper into my learning and I laugh and cry while I am at it!

Hi all, Firstly, and most importantly, I adore this show. I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends, shooting the s*it, eventually getting to the witchy stuff. You all are so lovely! In response to the most recent one star review, clearly you aren’t listening to the same podcast I’m listening to. Or, you’re very sensitive, which is fine, but to tear these amazing women down, seems pointless and more importantly, self-righteous. Take a listen to what they’re discussing and reflect on why you’re so upset with what they’re saying. Witches should always strive to improve the lives of the disenfranchised. All the best and keep on making amazing episodes.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard more hateful, judgemental, closed minded “witches” in my life. If you don’t agree with everything they say politically, then they will tear you down. I came here expecting a witch podcast, and instead I got a political rant with a bit of witchy things sprinkled in. I’m tired of politics and I DON’T want it in my spirituality. So very hard pass on these witch wannabes. They are much too reminiscent of Christian conservatives. Funny how when the left goes so far they become right wing. Dreadful.

This has become my absolute favorite podcast, witchy or otherwise! Listening feels a bit like you’re in the room with them, included in the conversation. Not only that, but I’ve learned so much from them, discovered new authors, and given me lots to think about. I’ve only been acknowledging my witchy side since early 2020… right before the global panda hit hard. I’m also in the broom cupboard (Christian and witch…) but they share so much practical advice, I’m not sure how I could continue on my path without them!

Been listening for about 5 months and i Love love LOVE the content these girls are putting out! They are so funny, vulnerable, and spicy!! My favorite thing is that they are completely and totally themselves. This podcast won’t be for everyone so if you are prone to be sensitive when people express their hot takes or an occasional political rant, this podcast might not be for you and that’s okay💛 (so, if you are podcast shopping keep this in mind when skimming through the reviews because there are some real haters out there💔) SO grateful for the genuinely authentic content!!

I’m so glad I accidentally stumbled on this podcast! I was actually searching for a some other topic, when I saw “That Witch Life”. I love it!!! There is so much I can relate to, since I come from a long blood-line of witches and practice witchcraft myself. I’m thinking about making a guest speaker appearance to bring “another angle” to the already broad witchcraft subject. ;)

I’m brand new to pretty much all of these topics, but your show makes it accessible! Thank you. …however…I wish these witches were kinder to each other, that’s the only thing that sometimes makes it hard to appreciate.

I absolutely love tuning in to these 3 Witches. No matter what stage you are on your practice, you can definitely learn from this podcast. Not only is it informative but it’s fun and you feel like you’re sitting down for coffee/tea and having a chat with good friends. You’ve got a listener for life.

I’ve been searching for a witchy podcast that I love for a while now, and now I have found it!! These ladies are delightful to listen to. It feels like hanging out with friends during these lonely pandemic times. The hosts have amazing chemistry and banter, and are always super knowledgeable about the topics. Most of the guests are great as well; I’ve already bought/wish listed so many books that are recommended or mentioned. So much love and thanks to this amazing podcast and the hosts!!

Every week I tune in for a new episode from these three beautiful friends! Topics range from current events to listener questions and they always have an interesting guest on their show! Each time I listen in, whether it be in my kitchen or during my work commute, I feel as if I’m sitting right at the table having coffee or tea and catching up with close friends. I truly admire their friendship and all of their hard work they put into each episode. It really shows in each and every episode how dedicated they are to providing new content for us individuals living that witch life!!

This podcast always makes me laugh! If you want a podcast that puts you to sleep this IS NOT the podcast for you! But, if you want to listen to a group of best friends that are witty, informational, and makes you feel like you’re watching a sitcom on REAL witchcraft not Hollywood witchcraft, then you need to listen ASAP! Love these women! They’re also very self aware when it comes to being compassionate towards trigger warnings! Such a welcome escape from the monotonous day-day! I tell my friends this is like the My Favorite Murder of witchy podcasts, and I mean it as the highest of compliments. The podcasts I like best, especially during a pandemic, are the ones that make me feel like I'm making new friends, sitting around in a living room with loved ones, and gabbing about who knows what. These three share their own personal stories as though I'm a new addition to the friend group, and then of course bring in new voices who share that role with me. It is informative, fun, and both an escape and a reminder to hold myself accountable as a witch in this world. Thanks y'all for all of it <3

I’m in my 40s and happy to find a podcast of women who sound like adults, but also fun, educated and silly ones. Ones I’d like to be friends with. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the “young” witches, their voices and experiences and language just don’t resonate as much with me. So thanks for giving me something to listen to and explore!

These ladies are so funny and smart and I really connect with this podcast. My favorite part of every car ride.

These hosts are having the MOST fun being witches, and just listening to them makes me want to know where to sign up to be a part of their friend circle. Not only do these episodes always making me laugh and brighten up my day, all the hosts are so wicked smart! (Pun intended!) Courtney’s experience and magical knowledge seems to have no bounds and she always has the greatest recommendations. Hilary’s background as a performer/ritualist is fascinating and I love hearing about all of her amazing projects and practices. Kanani just speaks to my SOUL, (which yes, is as black as night.) I love hearing about her practice as a magical mother and a community leader. These three together make the dream team!! The best part, their guests are AMAZING! I’ve learned about so many practices, cultures, and crafts from their incredibly knowledgable and diverse guests that they interview. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing; if these ladies upload an episode, I stop and listen to it!

This podcast is just what I needed. Love the hosts and the guests that they bring on. Keep up the good work
