Sometimes I found some episodes that are very helpful with expert tips and good amount of small talk. I think the stories flow better with informational advices then personal experiences and stories that supports the advices. There are some episodes that takes forever till the main subjects are addressed. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to know people, where they are from and what they do for a living beside refurbished furniture. However, it shouldn't be the first thing to talk about. It makes the episode become more of a chitchat than actually capture audience attention. Everything about the contents are great, i just think organization of questions to ask the participants needed to be distributed equally throughout the episode than heavily concentrated at the beginning. Thank you.

I never would have expected a podcast about such a visual medium to be part of my weekly routine, but the combination of Lane - a true gentleman of a host - and the ongoing rotation of talented and generous guests keeps me coming back for more. I can’t think of another company that supports its customers the way that Zibra does.

This podcast is fun, full of entertainment, and I feel understood to know that people go through the same challenges as me, that I am not alone, that we have a community willing to help at any time. I had learned so much in the past 2 years with this podcast, and I still do. I learned about new techniques, new product, the different between antique and vintage, the furniture style, what is the best app to editing photos and so much more. The first thing I do every Wednesday is listen to the Zibra podcast having my coffee.

I’m new to the furniture refinishing journey and didn’t think a podcast about it could be entertaining but it is! And it’s a great companion to the actual process. Lane is a great host and I’ve already gotten some great tips!

Every Tuesday I really look forward to the Zibra Blog’s Before and After podcast. I have been refinishing furniture for about a year and a half. Thanks to this podcast I have become informed on refinishing techniques and products. I find this show so inspiring. Another thing I love about this podcast is that they feature a huge variety of furniture refinishers. Lane Ball, the podcast host treats all refinishers in such a kind and supportive manner. I am a huge fan!

I look forward to listening to the Zibra Podcasts every week! There is always something new to be learned from each episode and it is also fun to find new furniture refinishers to follow and glean info from!! As a furniture painter I love listening to the Zibra Podcast. Lane Ball is a great host, who always keeps the show entertaining and fun. The shows always has new painters on who share what they are working on and how they painted their pieces. I love hearing others painting stories. It always inspires me to go paint furniture!!

I have learned so many helpful tips and tricks to refinish furniture- as well as tips on running my small business. It’s also been a great resource in finding other knowledge, helpful refinishers!

If you are at all interested in furniture refinishing and painting then this is the podcast for you. I can’t stop listening to it. It is filled with so much wonderful information. Lane is the greatest host. He’s caring and thoughtful and it seems as if he personally knows every guest that is on the show. This podcast encourages me and makes me want to try new things on each piece that I touch. I’m thankful that there’s plenty of episodes for me to listen to on my way to and from work every day. I would leave a longer review but I wanna get back to listening to the podcast. 🤣😉

I started listening to The Zibra Blog podcast earlier this year and I love them. Being a member of the refinishing community myself, it’s so cool to have that on in the background while I’m working on a piece. I wish they were on every day!

Because of Lane and this podcast, I now follow so many talented and creative furniture refinishers on IG! There’s nothing better to listen to when refinishing my furniture!! Thanks Lane!!

I was recently introduced to this podcast by a fellow painter I met and boy am I thrilled I met her! This podcast is so easy to listen to. I listen while painting, actually. Kane is a brilliant interviewer asking the perfect questions that open up the guest and allow them to divulge lots of details about their work, individual pieces and artistic processes. I would love for the episodes to be longer so guests had more time to speak about their furniture pieces or the specific episode topic, but it seems like they get cut short often. Definitely keeping subscribed to this one.

I realize that painting furniture is a visual medium and this is a podcast but please include less chatting about your guests personal lives and more about painting. I am new to this and was really hoping for some concrete info. When do I use poly versus wax? Can I paint chalk paint over milk paint? Etc I think you have a good setup here but these experts can share more specifics
