    Perfect for sharpening your skills
I grew up in a family that speaks Urdu, so I fully understand but often struggle with conversations and sentence formation. This podcast has helped build my confidence and skills in just a few episodes! My friends and family members have commented positively on my Urdu. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a general foundation in Urdu looking to connect further with their culture. The episodes provide introductions to new words and phrases that I can incorporate into everyday conversation. I write down some of my favorite lines, so I can review and practice later (Kitni dair lagay gi? Sava vs ponay, etc). The shifting guests add variety to each episode, and the host does a great job of switching between casual and formal structure. I hope the host continues to release episodes more regularly!

    The BEST in Urdu teaching
FAR BETTER than any other Urdu-learning podcast or app out there. The grammar explanations are perfect for decoding the mysterious ways that Urdu does not seem to align with English. I have studied many European languages, but Urdu can be quite tricky if you don’t have the proper guidance to orient you. The Urdu Seekhiye crew knows how to properly explain grammatical components in order to make learning easy.

    Amazing!
Amazing! Thank you so much for doing this podcast. There’s such a dearth of urdu learning materials. I’ve been trying to learn urdu for years. The grammar explanations and pdfs are wonderful.
