These recordings were emailed to us without explanation. The sender has not responded to any questions. We cannot confirm the veracity of the information contained within, but believe that the creator of these recordings is acting in good faith. The woman, who calls herself NORA, is investigating a strange series of events that wander between the boundaries of perception and reality. There is some suggestion of organized crime, paranormal influence, or perhaps simple madness. We will continue to make these available as they are sent to us. They present no danger to the listener and seem to provide a source of support for the creator.

    Stunning, Refreshing, Arthouse.. A++ Performing
Wonderful!!! So glad I encountered this on AD subreddit mention… btw, this is not ā€œreallyā€ like Tanis or Black Tapes, though I could see the correlation to ā€œout thereā€ plot points & vague lovecraftian threads… however, this feels like art. Where as a major production ie.PNWS studio-driven podcasts can be amazingly unique ie. Tanis , this AD doesn’t dwell in the ethereal to a point of spoiling itself past expiry. Honestly, one major difference is how well this art piece wraps up the ā€œout thereā€ plot-points & makes it .. a unique aspect, rather than saturating our ears with spin after spin ( yes, you know which AD’s I’m referring to) until you forget why you fell in love with it & runs it backward. Nora manages to refresh the genre’s tropes while adding very special performances & not reaching beyond its limits .. I disagree with many reviews comparing it to such productions , as this feels so unique. I understand the conparisons and I loved those AD’s, but dang it’s nice to ACTUALLY HAVE A CONCLUSION! lol, please enjoy and review… next to other AD’s you should try, this one has far little exposure & deserves much praise! Hats off to performers… honestly stellar work THANK YOU!!! šŸ™

    Bad music
Very good. Easy and engaging. However, thre background music is too much. Very irritating.

    Mystery fun!
The mystery in this show really got me and o thought it was really fun. I felt just spooked enough but also intrigued enough. It was a really fun mystery

    5 stars
Excellent podcast. Great story, short, concise, and importantly: definitive… cough Tanis cough. I love the length and how fast it gets creepy. Excellently done with what I’m assuming is a small budget. Want more from the creators

    Needs more
Great but needs a season 2 to be really complete; if you hate loose strings, avoid this one... (sorry)

    great story telling and acting
It takes an episode to get into it, but once you do, it’s so compelling and the voice acting is top-notch!

    Mouth sounds :(
I want to listen to this podcast soooo bad!! But if you have problems with any mouth smacking noises, this isn’t the podcast for you :(

    Surprisingly good
I wasn’t super sure about this one. About 2 in the story gets better and the effects just improve as you go along. Definitely impressed with the ending! Would recommend to someone running out of creepy podcasts. It’s short too which is good and bad because I would be down for more! Still like how it was concluded?!??

Forget TANIS. This is TRULY about The Unknown.
Seriously, Wonderfully unnerving speculative fiction podcast series. The writing is seriously mind-bending without being overly ornate or MFA showy. It is entertainingly provocative. How do YOU know that Ohio exists? Give this a listen for the answer. The production perfectly matches Nora’s content spectacularly. Well Done.

    Surrealist Mystery Horror
Fantastic show. Excellent acting, script writing, and some truly mind-boggling sound editing. This podcast takes the whole ā€œyou can only hear their voices/soundsā€ and elevates it into one of its best assets.

    Wonderfully clever writing
The Black Tapes cast a long shadow over indie audio dramas which has led to tedious overuse of found footage tropes. And then NORA comes along and it’s genre savvy and smarter about these tropes in a way that breathes new life into the genre. Even better, the characterization for the detective is genuinely great, like a cross between Marge Gunderson and Benoit Blanc, and the script is so very elegant in unfolding that.
