nappingchampInspiringI love listening to this podcast. I was introduced to it by a cousin, and have been listening to it ever since. It’s a great alternative to music while I’m driving or jogging. Thank you for everyone who makes this podcast possible! The stories are truly inspirational and help me to see the bigger picture. *Updated review 2024* I love This is the Gospel! I would love if they brought it back! I was listening to the story of Isaac in the episode “The Gift of Curiosity” and it really reminded me of a friend I taught and was able to help baptize on my mission. He had a similar story, and so I decided to send him the video of Isaac telling his story. The friend I taught sent a text back saying he loved it and that it really resonated with him and he was so grateful to me for sending it. Just wanted to say that these stories are heard and are making a difference! What’s even more of a tender mercy is that this was the second time Isaac had told his story. Although the first episode where he shared his story was great, I was catching up on ones I hadn’t listened to, and that’s when I heard Isaac’s story for the second time. It was able to strike a chord even more with me because I had a closer connection to it, and I was able to send it to someone who really needed to hear it. So thank you Isaac for sharing your story and for the people who made This is the Gospel podcast.

kimyoungjooI loved the podcastI love it soooooo much because I really need it everyday. I didn’t know about the podcast until last week and it’s over. It’s sad and depressing to know the best podcast is not running. I have lost everything in my life 2 children and husband in the fire that someone made to kill all us and I’m still here with tooo many surgeries to count for burns on my face to my body every where. Now I’m remarried and have a child. Who would have thought I have this a great life again. It’s only because of my beautiful savior. I hope the podcast will begin again soon. Love to all you ladies for the podcast! Wendy Macaky

151EMTLife ChangingI love this podcast. So many great podcasts share helpful intellectual insights, but these stories reassure us that Heavenly Father is faithfully working with His children- in the background, in the foreground and in the dimension of time. While I love every one of these stories, my favorites are those in which fellow travelers on the road of mortality are inspired by Heavenly Father to be the instruments of His work in helping each other. These stories make me anxious, even hungry to serve my fellow brothers and sisters; in His church, out of His church, against His church; as I serve Him. These stories also give me comfort and courage, in these crazy times, that Heavenly Father is actively involved in our lives and nothing catches Him by surprise. Listen to a couple episodes and you will find it hard to stop.

jskadnycReal-life enjoyable and inspiring stories.I absolutely love this podcast. I love the real-life, inspiring stories told by the people who experienced them. While scriptures and GC talks sometimes seem less like a delight and more like “I know these are good for me and I should listen,” this podcast is something I truly look forward to and I’ve been taking long Sunday drives just to catch up on the episodes. Please continue with this podcast and don’t change a thing!!!

Missy.niniIf you want to feel the spirit.. listenIf you want to feel the spirit listen to this podcast. I accidentally found this podcast on LDS living. I listened to it once and I was hooked. I have told all my people around me to also listen. I would give it a 10 if that rating was available. You will not be disappointed.

BallJaminBest Podcast Out There? Could Be!I never miss an episode because it very well could be the most powerful, influential, and relevant podcast out there. The heart-felt emotions that I have had in each episode have brought joy to my life. Thank you for your efforts to produce a product that solidifies faith in my life and so many others.

Dahle5437Heart SoftenerI’ve been a member my whole life. Always have felt I have had one foot in and foot out in being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Life seems to have kicked me too many times to where going on the same way seems impossible. I stumbled across this app one night and started to just listen. My heart is so filled with the various stories. To feel my heart soften and allow the spirit in in what seems like forever has really helped me humble myself to make those changes I’ve been needing for years.

hobbitavery🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍This podcast is AWESOME. I truly love it and love to hear the light of Christ touch so many of us. This podcast brings me a feeling of unity hearing the stories of faithful followers who follow the Prince of Peace. Doctrine and Covenants 1:38 “What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.” Whether through His own voice or through the voice of His servants. This podcast is FILLED with the voices of His servants testifying and witnessing of Him.

Bethyover10The Best.I listen to a lot of audio books and podcasts while driving or cleaning. This Is The Gospel is my absolute favorite. Every episode is SO GOOD!! This morning I was having a mom meltdown, wanting to throw my hands in the air and run away. I went to my room to pray. I told the Lord that I was having a hard time and I asked for His help. I then went outside to do yard work and episode 84 came on. I could definitely relate to Frances. It was like God was giving me a wink, letting me know He knew me. Thank you for sharing these! They are always uplifting.

imdbmSad for MoreTo listen to the last posted episode brought sadness to my heart. It’s like losing a good friend, a companion, a listening ear, a voice of comfort. I’m not sure why Deseret Book would end such a staple of podcasts. Hosts and editors and others move on, but please find new people to do the job and bring back this podcast. Listeners love the personal stories and the neighbors in our lives living with personal difficulties letting us know that Heavenly Father is there and loves us.

Sam's pearlUplifting !I’m so sad I didn’t discover this podcast sooner! I love hearing personal stories first hand. Corinne’s input is powerful. She suns everything up and puts into words the feelings I had while listening. Also, I love her voice, it’s very soothing. I wish this podcast would continue.

Sk8tikI will miss this podcastI discovered this podcast last year and I have really enjoyed it so much to the point that I went back to the very first podcast and listened to each episode. In my experience we learn better via stories, I’m 66 years old and I still remember stories from my childhood and the lessons that learned from them. Not to put it them down but I have learned so much more from the stories from this podcasts than I have learned sitting down on Sunday school or priesthood lessons. I wish the staff the best and pray that this podcast will come in some other form. And soon, please. Thanks again. Antonio

Neato ChristineoLove this podcast!I absolutely loved listening to this podcast. The format is well done, and I always feel uplifted and feel inspired to do better and be better. I am bummed that it is over, but think I will go back and listen to all the episodes again. I also love how the host does well at connecting the stories, and I am grateful for the members of the church that were inspired to tell their stories. I hope this isn’t really the end, just a brief break. I can dream, right? Thank you for making such uplifting content in this sometimes overwhelming, soul crushing world.

IDIDTHISFORTHESTARSad to see it goI can’t remember how I found this podcast. I don’t consume any of the other media produced by LDS Living and never saw it in its video form. But I do know that I’ve been listening for years, and it has been a real blessing to have these stories accompany me through some very momentous times in my life. We have a tendency of getting too wrapped up in the narratives of our own lives and in those situations it is vital to make space for the sorties of others. My life has been throughly enriched by being able to step away from the messiness of whatever I was going through and just observe the pure simplicity of the stores of these saints. They were often quite harrowing, but they reminded me that what I was going through also had a purpose and an end over the horizon. I can tell this show produced with a lot of love. KaRyn and her team did a wonderful job curating and producing each episode. They shared the stories of their storytellers with great dignity and grace. I commend them all. I don’t know where I can go to replace this. We are members of a church that encourages so much discussion and dissection that the sincerity of this podcast was something that gave me a real breath of fresh air. I wish all those who worked on this project nothing but success in their future endeavors and thank all those who shared such touching stories. I’ll stay subscribed just in case ;)

emvacI will miss you guys!Thank you to everyone who has made this podcast possible! I have loved every episode and shared different ones many times. So often, they were thoughts/ideas/themes that were perfect to encourage me or help me feel less alone during difficult times, or to help me shift my perspective into a more Christlike place. I truly appreciate those who lived the stories and recognized the life lessons and were willing to share❤️

GodLovesUsAllAppreciation OverflowWhat a blessing the past six months have been as I have had the opportunity to listen and then reflect on these awesome story telling podcasts of LDS faith! I was so saddened that today was the end of this podcast, BUT, I am still able to review these stories again and again for future spiritual enlightenment! Congrats on a such a well produced podcast! imalwayslearningThe gift of curiosityI appreciate your podcast so much! The first one I ever listen to was about Dusty❤️ what an awesome story! I was recently listening to the gift of curiosity how you said that you had previously done the story but you hoped the spirit Would touch us in another way by hearing it again and it did! The part where he said the Lord will not give us a commandment without providing a way struck me different this time. It helped me with struggles im going through right now and have been for so many years. I am doing what’s right and although I’m “alone” in the fight, the Lord is there and always has been and He will provide a way☺️ thank you so much for sharing real stories that always help me!
-
