SuperReviewerGuy9000Economics episodes are greatThe rest, not so much. Bob's religious arguments might be persuasive to people who are already religious, but to anyone who's not, it's obviously just an attempt to rationalize an irrational belief. Also, Steve Patterson? Really? That guy is the epitome of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
-
Vance GinnHot TopicsBob knows how to hit on the hot topics in every episode. And he does it in a way that everyone can understand.
-
brward7Excellent explanations of complex topicsBob does an amazing job of breaking down complex topics and explaining them for the listener. Love the diverse subject matter!
-
Cfountain72Don’t always agree with Bob, but…Bob Murphy, the Happy Anarchist, surely takes some radical positions. Sometimes I agree with him, other times not so much. But he is such a genuine intellect, who steelman’s opposing views, that he’s an oasis from partisan hackery that passes for analysis these days.
-
Me741Humor, Intelligence, EntertainmentThis podcast has it all. Bob is a lovable explainer of many things. Mostly economic, but you never know where Bob might go.
-
Libertarian ProgressiveGreat NotesI really appreciate all the links he includes in his show notes. Wish more podcasters would do that.
-
MoikKBob is greatI enjoy all of his material, and the recent series on Klaus Schwab was awesome
-
Boonopolybob is a KingI sometimes wonder why he engages in good faith with bad faith actors, but someone should man that front for the undecided. Excellent analyses
-
Kraggle SmithWholesomeBob is the most wholesome, kind, reasonable, and sensible radical you can find. If a curious economist who believes in smart fiscal policies from an Austrian economics viewpoint and uses his platform for honest discussion and information on a wide range of topics, sounds like the kind of fringe radical ideology that appeals to you, give it a listen.
-
Just Some MechanicGreat TopicsMr. Murphy goes the extra mile to ensure that even a person with little interest in economics can understand the material. If you’re well versed this will seem excessive but I enjoy his approach and find him very entertaining. The most interesting thing about the Bob Murphy Show is that he covers a diverse range of topics from the point of view of a curious economist.
-
c2rosaGreat showBob Murphy does a great job explaining complicated concepts, and making it always interesting. Love some of his shows covering intelligent design also.
-
T to the ylerA podcast everyone needs to listen toBob does a great job simplifying explanations of Austrian economics . A must listen for everyone and it will keep you wanting more!!

Rich WilckeJust my styleI’ve heard many podcasts but even though I’ve enjoyed reading you, I hadn’t listened to yours. But then I got the email tip you were going to interview George Reisman. As a 77-year-old admirer of George, I made certain to listen. It was fascinating. A great interview! You knew enough history and economics that George was obviously comfortable. Both of you were courteous to one another, and you gave him plenty of time to explain his points, as well as how he came to them. In short, I’ve rarely enjoyed a podcast as much. Since then, I’ve listened to others, most recently the discussion of the gold standard. Extremely interesting! I’m too old (or jaded) to listen to much present-day libertarian laments. I like personable, intelligent talks on economics and history. Frankly, I’m delighted to have found you and I wholeheartedly recommend you to others. Rich Wilcke

angryguineaSmart, calm, in-depth conversationBob Murphy provides smart commentary and interviews on diverse topics from subtopics in economics, movie reviews, and current events. He’s not afraid to have on smart guests who challenge him. For example, I just listened to episode 130 where guest Rohan Grey, a law professor with very different economic views, presented a coherent alternative to Murphy, which at least with respect to inflation seemed more Austrian than the traditional Austrian view, namely Grey contended that inflation in the investment sector may not cause inflation in consumer prices. This is just one example. Another nice feature of the podcast is that it seems less stressful than other podcast. Bob has a calm, relaxed personality and he doesn’t do ads. This is my favorite podcast at the moment.

Xiao nini 1986Great GuyGreat pod!
-
acuthbert22This guy gets itBob is very intelligent and levelheaded. Often gives a perspective that you haven't heard elsewhere.
-
imperfectmomVery balanced- glad I stumbled here!Thank you... it’s not easy to sift thru the numerous speakers/podcasts having that critique on political issues balanced with economic insight. Bob Murphy takes the time to explain a lot of things. I really am grateful. Thank you.
-
Adam MiCaucAbsolutely amazingBob Murphy may be one of the most likable people in the world. He has a wonderful self-deprecating sense of humor, but he is brilliant. He also has a way of explaining complex ideas in a way that is very understandable. My favorite aspect is the intellectual integrity. While many others will strawman the ideas of their opponents and look past possible flaws in their own way of thinking, Bob does the opposite. It is really refreshing.
-
DanielWGreenBob Murphy for NoPresident!Bob has such an objective, logical, methodical way of breaking things down. Listen and learn. I’m always entertained and educated without feeling indoctrinated. If you haven’t already, check this show out.
-
steve the riggerRoss Ulbricht’s StoryThe interview with Lyn was the most informative one that I have heard yet about this infuriating travesty. I learned things that incredibly were able to make me angrier. Didn’t think it was possible.
-
xuochiHooray for Bob!Bob Murphy’s solo episodes on Contra Krugman were always my favorites. Now Bob has his own podcast. It’s awesome. Sometimes it’s just Bob being nerdy and awesome, sometimes it’s him chatting with other great people, it’s always good tho.
-
BenDickinsonWell DoneGreat intellectual podcast. Really speaks to knowledge and understanding. Episode 42 was a eye opener for me really helped me to understand the system. Thanks
-

-
Brock The Rock StoryThis guyThis man is incredible he’s always on point and knows what he’s talking about great listen every time.
-
Gordita JimGlad to find thisI don’t know what I don’t know about economics so I try to find as many different thinkers as I can. I’m glad there’s an honest voice who can give an accurate description of what he’s advocating for.
-
John CorbenPossibly My Favorite PodcastBob Murphy is simply a brilliant economist. I think he will go down as one of the all-time top libertarian/Austrian thinkers. Bob doesn't just repeat the libertarian talking points of the day, he provides very unique content, even for know-it-all libertarians/Austrians. I highly recommend this podcast.
-
Dutch JimBoReally enjoying itIt’s won me over. I’m glad I left it in my feed because over the last couple months there have been some solid listens.
-
jackattackz93810The Great Bob MurphyEvery episode is deep and thorough! It’s like a Libertarian/Christian Joe Rogan show. Very poignant questions and commentary, Bob has Tom Woods beat on the depth of each episode by far, recommend to everyone I know! Thanks for the great work Bob!
-
Mr. SomaBob is extremely insightfulIntellectually honest, hilarious, and highly educational. Plus the greatest Scott Horton interview ever. What more could you want?
-
LerTy14Intro Says It AllBob Murphy is quickly becoming my favorite voice in the realm of Austrian Economics, Anarcho-Capitalism, and Libertarian Leaning thought (which does not give justice the entirety of discussed topics). This is one of the only podcasts that truly challenges my perspective and understanding of economics and its implications. Expand your understanding of the world and listen to Bob Murphy!
-
BC RichardsGreat materialSo far this is really great. I like the longer format at once a week, it's a little different experience from TWS. Great conversations with interesting guests. Keep getting people in the broader liberty movement.
-
RACarlsonGood Content.I don’t give five stars merely because economics isn’t my strongest area. However, Bob has good content and is entertaining.
-
Dustin DreifuerstEconomics & Humor. Bob is the absolute BestI have listened and read Bob's stuff for years now and look forward to every opportunity. I am so excited he has his own show now and have thoroughly enjoyed every episode so far. You will not be dissapointed. SUBSCRIBE AND LISTEN NOW
-
Mish OchuA Truly Empathetic IntellectualWeirdly enough, I have more Bob Murphy books than I do Tom Woods books. It’s not that one’s better than the other. I do appreciate a book that will outline what is systemically wrong with the “so-called” economy or what really happened in a given time period, but I highly value a book that will help me protect and improve “my economy” today. That’s why I like “How Privatized Banking Really Works”.
-
Alec_McDowellSo glad this finally exists!Bob Murphy is an absolute gem! Love him as a guest on The Tom Woods Show, Host on Contra Krugman, and as an all around good guy! I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for his solo show! Listened to the first few episodes... excellent!
-
Tim WhatleySeinfeldian EconomicsImagine if George Constanta was an economist and not an idiot. Bob brings brilliant insights to the most minute details of human life. He disproves the falsehood of economics being the dismal science by showing genuine curiosity about society’s challenges . . . big and small . . . even ridiculously small.
-
Grano-De-OroMurphy Rocks!Wish I had this guy as my Econ professor when I was in school, Murphy articulates arguments for everyone to comprehend, great interviewer, sincere and genuinely funny (carrying that straight man Woods too long on that other pod cast)
-
Jackoftrades99The Free Market ExplainedGreat podcast for free market junkies like me!!
-
PenName69Finally!It’s like the best of the Tom Woods show and Contra Krugman! It’s like when Justin Timberlake left NSYC to go solo. It’s like when Beyoncé left Destiny’s Child. All that is too say this is a good podcast. Listen, subscribe, 5 star it, and spread the love.
-
CajuntruckerMulti talentedBob has such a wealth of knowledge. If you listen to the Contra Krugman podcast and his appearances on the Tom Woods Show, this is more of what you have come to enjoy.
-
kgearnsGreat podcast!I was pleasantly surprised how much I’ve enjoyed this. Not because I didn’t think I would, I just think Bob takes a unique approach to his podcast that is quite interesting to listen to! And I enjoy being part of the 2% of women listeners :).
