Scott ZanniniLove The VarietyNot a standard podcast that talks about the same thing every week. The topics are broad and the guests come from all kinds of fields/backgrounds. Whether it’s guests from OCR, the functional fitness space, nutritionists, strength, etc… there’s always something to learn!
-
chocolatemoosieSuch a good listen!Love this podcast and everything Rich brings to his listeners. His solo episodes, guest interviews, and fantasy drafts are all basically equally entertaining, interesting, and informative. Highly recommend if you’re at all interested in running, strength training, OCR, hybrid racing, etc!

Hunter MaynOne of my favorites!I love the Reinforced Running Podcast. As an athlete coached by Rich I’ve gotten to see you close just how knowledgeable Rich is in all things training. He’s also very aware and stays in his lane, sticking to things he’s good at and knowledgeable of. He also knows how to apply the coaching and is just super relatable and relational. Love listening to the podcast, he gets the most out of his guests and is just a great listen on any run or ride.
-
gnarmanultraQuality talks with actionable informationRunning and OCR focused conversations, but with a variety of coaches, athletes, and good minds in the field of competition, nutrition, and a broad spectrum of sport science. All OCR athletes should have this in their Que.
-
Jess Gregory 10The place to learn how to step up your resultsRich is well versed in all things running and obstacle course racing. His knowledge of both running, general fitness, nutrition, and recovery will give you the pieces of the puzzle you’re missing in your own training. Rich being active in the sport is also great because he has other athletes on regularly as they share what they’re doing to prepare for many of the upcoming races that we the listeners are too.
-
timmazingRich’s podcast is pure fire! The reinforced running podcast is covering all the hottest topics. Weather its running, ocr or the new sport of hybrid racing! Rich is always talking to legit professionals in all areas of these sports along with also doing a fantasy ocr draft. Super entertaining and informative! This is always on the top of my must listen to podcasts!
-
SingletrackscottPerfect fit for a unique nicheIn a sport that’s already small and not so well-known, Rich manages to jump into some very specific topics that fill some very special niches for those of us who are extreme geeks for OCR, and I love this show for that! Whether it’s the post-race breakdowns with TORC athletes that give excellent in-depth details that we really want to hear, the pre-race prediction drafts that bring a whole different level of excitement to races (even ones we can’t be there for in person), or diving into the fine minutiae of nutrition and training theory, you can find real, helpful details here. Thanks for being there for we OCR geeks, Rich!
-
mike4537Excellent pod for OCT/hybrid athletes and runners alikeRich puts out an excellent podcast. Whether previewing or recapping a race with TORC athletes or talking about training, Rich has the knowledge, experiences and performances to back up what he’s saying. His conversational style makes for an easy listen while out for a run or on a commute. He is genuinely interested in the points of view of his guests and is honest about what it takes to be a better athlete. Easy five stars.
-
Brian surewoodBest Hybrid racing PodRich knows so much about hybrid racing and personally helped me rethink my training. -
Bubbles The ClowneReinforced is the best!Rich brings a great perspective to what’s going on in OCR. He’s competing with the top athletes, knows what’s going on in the current race events and knows so many of the other athletes. Love how Rich shares his expertise on how to execute these virtual races. Rich brings on the up and coming athletes in the ranks for the TORC talks.

Quality fence builderAwesome podcast.I met Rich Ryan at Hyrox Chicago 2021. Guy is a beast out there on the course, Off the course, one of the nicest and most humble athletes Iv met in the sport. Was a pleasure to have met him. Hopefully one day I’ll reach a point in my time in this amazing sport, to where I can run toe to toe with these guys.
-
Ben_MorganRich is awesome! This is an amazing podcast for any athlete, but especially for obstacle course racers. Rich is a great interviewer. -
Bbump22Reinforced Running PodcastI’ve just gotten into endurance running and am only an “aging” enthusiast, but love hearing the tips and perspectives from competitive athletes. Rich does a great job of covering different topics including nutrition, eating disorders amongst runners, strength training, racing, trail running, etc. He presents an interesting podcast, plus I usually learn something that I can apply to my own running hobby.
-
FayeMorganRyan KempsonOne of my fave guests so far - Ryan’s work ethic and dedication inspires. Amazing to hear about his transition from a legit basketball player to where he is now. You guys had awesome back and forth - you do such a sound job of guiding the conversation towards quality subject matter content. Great listen.
-

-
DonaldDon83Great Hosts Great GuestsMy favorite part about this podcast is the guests they choose to have on. In the OCR world we hear from the same athletes over and over but Rich and Josh find new athletes to get to know and learn from. It’s nice to hear from athletes other than the same ones we’ve been hearing from for years. Keep up the good work, fellas!
-
adamlbeachGood infoYou guys picked my question in the latest episode about making my first elite podium. I think you guys have great advice about taking a serious look at my training. I think I can use these ideas to hopefully make my first podium. Great listen! Great podcast!
-
Krista DubbsAwesomeGreat podcast for OCR athletes! I love hearing the perspective of all the various athletes who are guests on the podcast. Hearing all of the different training styles / techniques is really helpful and informative. Especially for someone who would love to have a coach, but cannot afford it on top of gym memberships, race fees, race gear, and just the cost of life in general. Lol. I have definitely started adding various training techniques/workouts/etc that I have heard on this podcast within my own training. This podcast also just helps educate you further about the sport itself. Some guest stars also have backgrounds in nutrition or ex phys and give good information in regards to diet, recovery, and more. Rich also adds fun to the podcast with fun questions to get to know the athletes more and makes the interviews light hearted and funny! This podcast gets me through long runs, long car rides, and boring treadmill workouts. Thanks Rich!
-
