I listen to a handful of podcasts and there are a few that I gleefully look forward to, and get excited for, when I see a new episode pop up. This is one of them! I’ve been listening since the very first episode and haven’t missed a single one. They’ve all been entertaining and full of laughs and humor that hits the spot. Dan and Mike have a great rhythm and harmony in their banter and story telling. As an avid board gamer who’s passionate about the hobby I do love the ether of the show being built on that foundation - but I love all of the other topics just as much. I could listen to you both talk about any topic I think! Wicked awesome hosts and wicked awesome show with fantastic guests and a chemistry you won’t find anywhere else. Thanks for sharing your humor and insights and parts of your lives with us. Cheers and rock on!

Episode 86, “Thanks Conservative government.” - Dan Hughes Tuition fees were introduced in the UK for non-international students by a LABOUR government in 1998. Political commentary does not belong in a board game podcast. But if Dan cannot help himself he can at least be accurate. And if you do not like being fact checked, there is an easy fix for that.

Look, I love these guys. They are my podcast fam. They have tried so hard to be like the Board Game Snobs Podcast and they are really good and enjoyable and fun. And while they aren’t BGS (Board Game Snobs established September 2017 the OG podcast about nothing) they are fantastic. Both hosts are lovable and funny and insightful. This continues to be my favorite podcast month after month. I love the dynamic that Mike and Dan have together. It’s honest, it’s funny, and it’s always entertaining.

I discovered Mike and Dan’s podcast a few weeks ago, and already I’m madly in love. When I’m not busy shilling my own second rate podcasts (Retro Blissed and Cardboard Cave), I’m listening to these guys. Seriously though, as an RN working in a medical hospital, these last months have been rough, and Mike and Dan literally make it bearable. I like them so much, I’d wash Dan’s brown stained bed sheets. - Trevor “please let it be mint” Franklin

I love the way Dan and Mike go back and forth and share stories.

If there was a joke that began, “ Two board game ‘content creators’ decided to start a podcast...” then every episode is the punchline. I can’t get enough of the banter between Mike and Dan. If you want a hint of board games mixed in with real day to day banter, you won’t be sad you listened.

Few podcast stray off topic as much as Sporadically Board! I’m not even sure if there has ever been a topic. All I know is, when a new episode hits the interwebs, I can’t wait to inject that sweet goodness into my earholes! It’s a board game podcast for the masses! Do yourself a favor and give it a listen!

The banter and sarcasm of these two is unparalleled!! Their guests join right in and don’t miss a beat. They not only cover board games but each episode also touches a serious topic and is truly informative and entertaining. I can’t recommend it enough!

Really entertaining conversations from board game content creators. Very insightful, intelligent conversations about life, people and occasionally games. Very well worth your time.

How is it that Dan Hughes keeps turning up in different podcasts to which I subscribe? It’s almost like he’s entertaining or something. And I thought this Mike guy only played games by himself....huh guess I was mistaken! Give it a listen!
