This podcast is reflective of your substantial growth as a host. The guest was brilliant and you gave him latitude to communicate with the audience. You made appropriate parallels to the gundog community, but let him speak specifically with regard to his experience. Thank you for the show and keep up the good work!

18 year trainer of dogs here. Protection sports, not knowledgeable about bird dogs. BUT, this was the best round up discussion on why you should use an ecollar: the ultimate in safety training and the improved confidence and freedoms a well trained ecollar dog enjoys when off leash are paramount. No other tool can do this. A perfect podcast for beginners to learn exactly how to condition your dog to an ecollar and have your dog love it.

Great podcast where you will learn everything you wish you knew about dogs. Can’t stop listening.

Great dog podcast. By no means is Bob a retriever expert, but many of his guests are.

I’m addicted to this podcast. I especially like the episodes that are discussing training for dog events or interviewing other pro’s and successful dog trainers. Bob and Kevin are funny and entertaining.

Just like the dog house podcast they don’t care about you or your dog they are in it for the all mighty dollar. Just like most people in the hunt test community they put on a front that it’s family but in reality they want nothing to do with you unless you can benefit them in some way. Pushed people every episode to by Eukanuba dog food then when he got offered more money he switched.

This is by far my favorite podcast. Bob and Kevin do a great job explaining how they train their dogs and also have a great sense of humor. The guys invite great guests to the show that bring different perspectives and training techniques that are very helpful. I am currently looking for a podcast that is close to as good as this podcast, while I wait for the new episodes to come out. But I haven’t found one that is as close to as good as this one.. yet.

Bob and Kevin do a really good job of having a good mix of presenters and excellent topics for gun dog training.

This podcast has all your gun dog and hunting needs. A good listen for car rides, or even just hanging around the house. These guys make you laugh and also have so much to teach! One of my go to hunting podcasts

Love this podcast. Bob is entertaining and I learn a lot with every episode. I really enjoyed the Standing Stone Kennels episodes with Ethan and Kat as well as the Lyle Steinman episodes but they’re all good. Thanks for keeping it fun!

Change those batteries in your smoke alarm (collar conditioning part two YouTube video). I love the podcast guys I plan on getting a lab within the next year and I’m trying to learn all I can beforehand keep up the good work.

Love listening to this show. I’m training my first duck/grouse dog (yellow lab) and it’s great to hear everything from simple obedience to high level training for tests/trials. Favorite episode was the collar conditioning with Blaine. I was anxious to collar condition for the first time, but the show helped me to know what to do and what not to do. I started with the command “here” first... sorry Blaine. Second favorite was the show with Fritz Heller about hunting grouse with a flushing lab. Loved how he went into grouse habitat and dog handling.

Kevin and his brother are great! I’ve been listening since the beginning. They have taught me a ton about dogs. Since I have a Boykin Spaniel my favorite episodes are when co- host Blaine comes on. Finally caught up to ALL of the episodes and I’ve learned so much from Bob and his guests. Bob has great insights in dog training. The tips I’ve learned I have put into action with my Labrador and it has made my sessions easier to understand. Biggest tip I took away was PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE. Eukanuba Baby - The problem I had with my lab was he couldn’t maintain the ideal weight that everyone talks about. I can easily see his ribs and spine even though I was feeding him 8 cups a day (in 2 separate feeding). I took the 3 month Eukanuba challenge from Bob and saw a dramatic weight change in just one week. He gained the ideal weight everyone always talked about. Best thing I did for my lab. Thank you to Bob and Kevin for being such a fantastic host.

You guys are a real treat to listen to. You bring great content and even better guests on the show and I look forward to each and every episode. Can’t wait to implement the things I’ve learned by to listening to all the podcasts! Mmmmmmm biiiizzzzmuuthhhhh babay 😂

Bob and his brother are down to earth and have great advice. They also are pretty funny and I love their passion for gun dogs, hunting, smoked meats, and Busch Lite. I would love to drink a beer with these guys.

Nathan Hockensmith from Mammoth Cave KY. I’m 30 years old always loved hunting & fishing, grew up doing it. Got into duck hunting around 8 years ago. I’m just now getting into training labs. I got 3 great quality pups on the way, should all be home by thanksgiving. Gonna have my hands full I’ve got several good hunting buddies and trainer buddies that say they’re gonna help me out! One of them said he knows Bob really good, said he roomed with you at nationals, Eric Thompson is his name. Getting a pup from him, a pup out of Juice and also a pup out of Choco. I’m excited nervous anxious all at the same time. This podcast is awesome. So much knowledge and wisdom that an amateur like me needs. I’m listening to this everyday to get caught up. This podcast has content beneficial to the hunter getting his first dog all the way to the young pro getting ready for master nationals. When they are talking advanced dog work they take the time to explain terms, like hip pocket marks, to ensure every can track what is going on. They are great representatives of the gun dog world.

Before I start my review, I’d like to give a shout out to Gunner Kennels, Dogtra, Eukanuba, Traeger Grills and Waypoint Outdoor Collective. Bob and Kevin do a great job of presenting to the listener an array of information that the new to amateur trainer can benefit from. Aside from the training techniques and information, they also deliver great entertainment with both their personal experiences and those of their guests. All of which is a great filler during those times that Blaine is unable to run the podcast!😜 Thanks, Bob and Kevin, for such a great podcast that revolves around “The Unspoken Bond”!

So simple and straight forward...esp for a guy like me who’s more of a novice even though I’m on my fourth lab. Have already learned so much!

Bob and Kevin have helped me through a number of things. Many they did without knowing like the in depth two series description of force fetch. Which I used and followed and multiple others to, I probably re listened to those two at least 4 a pc each. Then there’s their comic relief that they bring many when it is really needed. Last but definitely not least when I got hung up on a problem and reached out to them Bob replied inside of an hour that night I used his advice it fixed the problem. Thank you guys

I’ve been listening to Loneduck’s Gundog Chronicles since episode 1. Bob and Kevin do a great job at what they do and have a passion for it and it shows through the podcast. It’s great to be able to have these recourses like we do today. I’d bet people would have loved to have something like this years ago. This is my go to on the road podcast. I guess you could listen to music on the road but I like to learn and pick up new gundog training tips, tricks and helpful hints and that’s exactly what this podcast is about. I’m a master of none, and entered a Mario dog training years ago. Week after week topics are discussed thoroughly that have been running through my head in training. Bob is well on his way to being one of the best in the business and his brother is the Robin to Batman on the show. If you are a amateur or master trainer I strongly encourage you to go through all the podcasts for excellent topics. Last note, uncle bob was the keynote speaker on the “duck gun” podcast about raising a hunting puppy. If you’re considering buying a retriever, ITS A MUST LISTEN.

I love this podcast you give great information and teach others of the many dog games. You have spoke of AKC, HRC, SRS but no NAHRA Could you please do an episode on NAHRA? They were the originator of the hunt test game and do not get much attention. Also they have aspects that the other organizations do not do
