Joanna(not Daniel)This is not DanielThis is definitely not Daniel from Indianapolis leaving a review with his wife’s phone. Anyway. Great podcast, with fun content. Come fat, leave with aspersions to be a better (fatter) version of sizable self. The podcast would be even better if there were two fats. The one guy named “J” is always trying to be more healthy, and gives out salad recipes. He sounds suspiciously like a normie. And when J isn’t talking about salads, he’s telling us about “popsicles.” J, we don’t need to know about your inappropriate private behaviors. Thanks Jay and Rick for the great show!!

FinzupilGreat pod!Great pod, love all the recommendations and the banter. Keep up the good work fats!!!
-
roses_smell_like_boobooWorth a listen2 proudly fat dudes (Jay and Rick) discuss “fat hacks”, review foods and restaurants, perform live taste tests, and read listener emails/listen to listener voicemails. If you enjoy food, reviews, and overweight discourse, this is the right podcast for you. Additional features are occasional sports talk, March Fatness, and unique sponsors including Charlie the Bacon Guy and Frato’s Culinary Kitchen.
-
Sh712If you like foodGreat listen, especially if you’re into all things food. 2 great dudes talking mostly food, some sports and some life.

yerrrp15listener since spiegs and parkinshi guys with danny leaving chicago any awkward memories from the early days and also how funny is it that a bit from then turned into this amazing podcast. keep it up appreciate the fratos tip

Bears15SoxGreat ShowThe show is so enjoyable. Jay & Rick do an amazing job of keeping the discussion real and local. They make you feel like they are speak to you not at you. It’s like listening to friends talk about places they eat, the likes and dislikes. I appreciate the honesty, I enjoy the childish humor. You don’t have to fat to enjoy this podcast . Keep up the amazing content. Your fat friend Popcorn Andy.

Billd1517Never miss a pod!As a old Score listener this podcast brings me back to my youth! Keep it going gents!

cubbiephilGreat for normies too!Love the fat culture stuff I might not always think of, especially as a generic normie who loves to eat. I appreciate how they fetishize someone as simple but delicious as the Culver’s cheese curds. I’ve gotten some great recommendations from the show (Jay), and not just food related. I come for the food talk but stay for the other fun nonsense. Keep the clever non-sequitors coming, fats.
-
OktoprintThe Fattest There Is, Was or Ever Will BeMore intimidating than The Natural Disasters, Rick and Jay are the reigning champs of the Fatverse sharing fun and calorie filled content on all of your favorite fat topics, salads need not apply.
-
Hondo1981As Fat As They Wanna BeJay and Rick provide the answer to the question “What would happen if 2 Fats had microphones, an internet connection and the lung capacity to talk for an hour?” Always hilarious and honest, it’s also often endearing. They don’t fetishize being fat, but humanize it. “I’m Fat” is the “Citizen Kane” of Chicagoland fat guy podcasts. Their comedic heft is only surpassed by their actual heft. I hope this show reigns for 30 more years before transitioning to “Fat Rascals on Rascals.” Thank you Jay and Rick, you walked so the rest of us fats could walk a little slower or even use the escalator.

jay heifermanMost digestible podcast today!I’ve finally caught up with the old episodes. What a joy it is to hear the most likable hosts… every week! Every Monday, I laugh and pack on the tasty tips, which makes for a f’n corn-tastic week!
-
AliceHalikPod and YouTube!Ive been a listener since the beginning, but first time watcher. What a great time. Your goofiness is on full display in a way that can’t be grasped when I’m tuning in while driving to work. Now, if I could only find a way to watch you guys while eating my rotisserie chicken and grabbing for my glove box cheese on my commute, we’d be golden. Keep it up.

cornfoFOOD!( 80’s movie preview voice) In a world where AI is taking over, WW3 is on the horizon, and Tupaee Baby Hands’s ego is stealing all the helium, one podcast makes sure that you remember the basics, . . . “ The I’m Fat Podcast!” ( end 80’s preview voice) Food and Farts! These two things remind us of what to be happy about! These two things make us smile to no end, even when the world is going down faster then eating one of Charlie’s legendary bacon creations! And for that, I am always grateful that it is Monday. For one full hour, I forget my woes, and imagine visiting all the places on the fat map. Oh sweet cream! But despite all that is happening in the world, I do have a question of utter important and seriousness. Of thought- provoking enimgas and mind- bending commentaries that will be without end. My question is: Rank these in fat social class order, from hightest being 1, and lowest being 5: - the belly bounce - the belly contest - an all u can eat pizza buffet - driving with your gut - the nacho- eating fat guy Thank you, and keep on sharing. Logdog86Raising the bar and then breaking itJust when you thought America couldn’t get any fatter, this podcast comes along and raises the bar, proceeds to sit on said bar and unsurprisingly breaks it.

SkeevyStonerReviewI was told I would get a free garbage bag full of popcorn if I rated this podcast 5 stars

RbeekeeperHigh Quality Entertainment With PurposeNot only can I live vicariously through Jay and Rick’s consumption patterns, I can also make better informed decisions on where to spend what limited resources I have on a cardiac restricted diet. They are great at identifying and describing new products—extremely useful! And the sheer honesty of the podcast is exhilarating. What other show would honestly address crapping your pants or do a review of extra strong v extra soft Charmin? These guys are as real and unashamed as it gets, and that makes for truly excellent and practical entertainment.

Jennie power upStarted off strongEdited to add: after the march fatness show, all I can say is just because you think your kid is funny/entertaining, doesn’t mean they are. I don’t blame the kid, I blame the parents who foist them on the listener. I’ve listened to Jay and Rick before this podcast ever existed. I think initially it started off as a great concept, exploring “fat culture “including, but not limited to, food. However, it has kinda derailed into a fast food/novelty food item review site. Reviewing items is fine, and can be a segment each week, but it would be nice if they expanded past fast food chains like Wendy’s, McDonald’s and Buffalo Wild Wings. I think there was an episode where Jay went to a local breakfast establishment, and rather than talk about the food, talked about how “expensive” it was. Dude. At least Jay does seem try more places… It seems as though Rick limits himself to fast food establishments around his house. He also has a palette of a five-year-old. And I get the schtick… “Salad is bad”. No one ever saw a fat person eat a salad. 🙄🙄 Time to expand the offering of the podcast.

Whatevs353Aspiring FatWhether you are a fat or a normie, this podcast has something for everyone my frent

RynopolyLA loves I’m fat podcastLongtime listener of the podcast. As someone who even a Normie might consider ‘too skinny’ I’d never thought I’d enjoy listening as much as I do. I moved from Chicago to LA years ago but Rick & Jay provide a delicious serving of that Midwest goodness every week to keep me sane. To be fair I’ve been a fan since the 670 days but I can skip out on Parks & Spiegs and return without missing a beat but I never want to go too long without my funny fat guy fix. Great stufff keep it up! I’m happy when you guys are happy.
-
Mark SwayaThese men are inspirationsI’m an out-of-shape skinny man with a food phobia, and I live large vicariously through my favorite Fats. 5 stars
-
LovieBearXX46-10Better than 2016 Boris Diaw!Jay and Rick are outstanding together! I am a normie with fat like tendencies, thoughts, and desires. I haven’t been able to get enough of this bit turned podcast originating from the Spiegel & Parkins show, much different than the Parkins & Spiegel show. I went to NIU the same time as Rick, disappointedly I don’t think I crossed paths with him at pizza pros or Fatties, but the hype there is real… …Bears
-
Prof Bob CFood and funVery entertaining show. They discuss some of the best places to eat real food. If you are in Chicago, this show should be required listening. If you plan to travel there, it will help you find the best places beyond the usual tourist traps.
-
VictoryGallopCould be a great podcast….It’s no Kelly Clarkson show. She’s the best, these two guys aren’t. Rick stop agreeing with Jay on everything. At least wait for him to finish his long winded self absorbed question before saying yes, yes.
-
PorkChopBoyLong time fat, 1st time reviewerJay & Rick have entertained me since way back in the 670 days and honestly this is my most enjoyable thing to listen to either live or via streaming. I’ve been to many places they mentioned and bought stretchy pants they reviewed.
-
Jacques PacoisThe GoodsGood food, good info, good friends, good laughs. They’re the goods! Keep it up, Jay & Rick!
-
hsijxncReviewThis is good. You should listen to this podcast about food. Happy Fats??!!
-
purpuriteLove from a “Normie”I miss hearing Jay and Rick on 670 but I love that they are forging their own paths forward. I listen more now to podcasts like this than terrestrial radio anymore. Jay and Rick make me happy on my commute and I look forward every week to hearing “fat” talk, even though I could probably fit in one of Rick’s pant legs. ;) Thanks for keeping the suburban joints front
-
IMOrpdA great beak. Are you a true crime fanatic who listens to hours upon hours of anxiety inducing events via podcasts? Me too. This podcast is a great break from all of that with two guys who clearly enjoy hanging out and talking to each other about food, restaurants, and life. Highly recommend.
-
poolboy313131Great listenJay and Rick are funny and brutally honest. That is part of the funny. The thoughts you hear are the ones that make you laugh and cringe b/c you can’t believe they just said it!! Give it a listen 10/10!!
-

Beardown3113Great showLove the show. I'm a "normie" as Rick and Jay call it. But this show lets me indulge my inner fat kid. Keep it up guys
-
goldie2443My favorite podcast! If you are a chubby south Chicago suburban guy like me, this is your podcast! Rick and Jay are great hosts, and the content is fresh, unique, and hilarious. My only complaint is that their suggestions have left me broker and fatter than ever.
-
SXSW EggrollAmazing!Entertaining banter from two great guys.

marqptmA Chicago Institution?Remember when The Score was good? Like really, really good? Rick and Jay were approximately 48% of the goodness. Now that they’re gone, I suppose you can connect the dots. Join these two lovable clowns in their weekly triumph of being fat and sharing their stories. Chicago-centric, but global fatness still applies. My family entrusts our travels in the Fat Map and have never been disappointed.
-
BookerT80Recommend for fats and normsListener since the start. The Im fat podcast is Fulfilling of humor and entertainment for any size appetite. Jay and Rick are huge personalities and do an awesome job of normalizing the world of fats.
-
Sniffles6969Great PodListener since day one and it makes my Monday morning commute a little more bearable. Hit up some of the spots on the I’m Fat Map and haven’t been disappointed. Even as a beer bellied, skinny fat, I’m ride or die with the podcast. Peanut butter rules.
-
Kyle321nThe fats have itJay and Rick are outstanding and always entertaining. You want some reviews of food or snacks, they have it. You want talk about fat culture, they have it. You want some life lessons about how to live life to the fattest, they have it!
-
hhggbhuGood food recommendationsNice to have I’m fat food map, when I am in areas that I’m not familiar with.
-
KhplainfieldGreat showJay and Rick are fun to listen to, relatable, and very uplifting. Great if you live in the area because many of the food options are local, but each episode also talks about changes at chains and major fast foods too. My husband started listening because he was a fan of the score, and I began listening after hearing one of their Thanksgiving episodes. I have no interest in sports, and I still really love this podcast.
-
chorizo baconGreat show!10/10 would recommend for anyone who likes food takes. They have a fat map! Super helpful

-
Teachy1Great fun!Consistently great content and always fun! Fat or Normy- you’ll enjoy the conversation!
-
mtb421531Never miss an episode!I’ve been a listener and normy since early on in the Pod and Rick and Jay never disappoint! Had been a fan of both of them since they came together on the Spiegel and Parkins show. Still hilarious to think that this show came out of a bit! I listen first thing in the morning, and I immediately want to go out and buy the food they’re talking about! The Fratos collab is awesome as I used to go there regularly when I lived in Palatine. Respect for their food takes, but Jay and Ricks openness about their lives and struggles during the pandemic really rang true with me in so many ways! Thanks to this pod I can count on starting each week with some great laughs! Need to call the fat phone soon! Keep up the great work!
