Blakes 7 stands as a firm favorite in science fiction TV, yet its never enjoyed the deeper discussion of other (mostly lesser *cough cough*) series. This podcast does an unusually good job exploring the actors, storylines, and possible motivations of even minor characters - all while acknowledging that we’re talking about low budget 70s TV. Plus the hosts keep it warm and fun! B7 is still remembered for its sharp writing and dialogue, and this podcast shines a spotlight on the antagonistic characters who help earn that distinction. Brilliant work as always, boys!

The approach of talking about each episode as regards a particular character is an Interesting one, but quite often the discussion really just ends up being about the episode and not the character du jour Do you want off characters are pretty thin, so perhaps that’s inevitable.

As a Blake’s 7 fan I was very happy to find this podcast. Growing up I only got to see season 3 & 4 which I rectified once the vhs, yes vhs tapes came out. Thank you for helping me relive my memories of one, if not my favourite ever TV shows. Now to make it even more perfect you need to have Paul Darrow on to do the show with you. I can dream can’t l ?
