This is one of my favorite podcasts. I listen to each new episode when it comes out. I’ve learned so much through Mike’s teachings.

Mike Winger is overall pretty good. He is not a scholar or a debater and so his interaction with other Christian traditions leaves something to be desired, but especially if you are just an evangelical looking for help thinking about deep things he’s pretty solid. He goes much deeper and has more room for nuance than most pop Christianity resources. I’m also not a fan of how long most of his content goes; I think if he put more work into making things concise it would be more valuable.

I appreciate the tough topics discussed-and he gives a great resource too do my own study too.

I love this podcast! Mike continuously points to scripture for the answers for difficult and confusing questions and does it with a spirit of humility. He also encourages the listeners to study the whole of scripture to find answers themselves not be dependent upon his words alone. Great, solid teachings. Has definitely helped me grow in God’s word.

I listen to this podcast everyday, the entire 8 hours I’m at work. God and His word are transcendent of time, so whether an episode is a day old or 5 years old, every lesson is extremely valuable. I found Mike Winger because my 16 year old son watches his YouTube channel everyday too! All thanks and glory to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

Mike Winger is on the forefront of choice Bible teachers. I’m very picky when choosing who I allow to speak into my life and Mike makes the cut because he appropriately parses the Word of God.

Not only does Mike provide thoughtful, careful and deeply studied exegesis and interpretation, but he models beautifully the fear of the Lord and love for brothers and sisters in faith that he disagrees with. Not a minute of your time will be wasted on his content.

Mike has really helped me look at the world and my life from a biblical perspective. He provides a good example of deriving your opinions and stances FROM the Bible rather than reading your own opinions into it. It has been so encouraging and I can confidently say God has used Mike’s ministry as a tool in my recent spiritual growth. Thank you Mike!

Incredible. Best Christianity podcast out there.

I love learning and digging into the Bible. I grew up in church and I have to say most everything Mike believes are things I already believed but his teachings help me understand why and helps me understand more deeply and clearly God’s Word.

Mike answers questions about scripture—wait for it—by actually reading scripture. He does have an interpretation, but he always goes to scripture first and allows you to observe his process. And he has humility. He is willing to be wrong and explains his reasoning if he ever shifts his view on a topic. Listening to Mike is a great way to go deeper into scriptural questions and learn how to research and think for yourself.

God has used this podcast so incredibly in (my) life and i thank Him for Mike! Saying it’s a “meaty” study of the Bible is an understatement - it’s like a filet mignon dinner with all the sides of apologetics, hermenutics, transcript issues, present day objections, etc. What a GIFT! Brother Mike - thank you for following our Father God, for being a vessel for His amazing work through you! My continuous prayers for you and yours.🙏🙏

I love that there are so many detailed Bible studies. He explains things very well and takes his time to help the listener understand. I especially enjoy the Books of the Bible studies. They really help you understand what God is saying through the writers. The Q and As can get a bit advice columny so if that isn’t your interest you can use the time stamps to go to the specific questions you’d like to hear answers to. Overall I really enjoy this podcast and would highly recommend it to anyone trying to learn and grow in their faith.

Mikes main focus of helping us (me) to think biblically is so true, the amount of conversations I’ve had with other believers and we can both interpret the same verse differently it just shows how much evidence the Bible has for itself and if you’re dedicated to drawing as much truth as possible The Lord will reveal it to you. Pastor Mike works through all sorts of issues following Scripture and Biblical principles. It’s been a great resource for me to grow.

Everyone can benefit from this ministry. Mike knows his stuff, does his research (a LOT of it), and teaches complicated concepts in a way that anyone can grasp. On the other hand, he doesn’t just want you to take his answers at face value, he wants you to dig, think, and be in God’s word, to think for yourself. For unbelievers, he challenges their presuppositions about the intellectual side of Christianity, while remaining gracious and compassionate. He may know the answers, but he never makes people feel bad for being ignorant on any topic. He is humble, gentle, and bold, a combination rare to come by. For believers, he challenges people to read and to know the Bible better every day, simply by his own example. You can clearly see he spends time in his word by not only his intellect and knowledge, but also the fruit of the spirit in his life.

One of the best Bible teachers of our generation. Thank you, Mike, for listening to the Lord’s call on your life. You have an ability to show people how to study deeply and not get lost. I really appreciate Mike Wingers humility as he shares Biblical information. He is honest if he doesn’t know the answer and I appreciate that. It helps me to pass on his shows to skeptical friends because they hear that he might not have all the answers but still trusts God. That’s encouraging and helpful.

I have been listening to Bible Thinker on podcast and YouTube for years now. This channel has helped me tremendously from the video on being depressed and how to think biblically, the live questions, the dedicated verse by verse studies, especially this last Hebrews study! It is a blessing you will be blessed by anything that you watch on this channel. I have learned things that I struggled with at first when approaching the Bible and I’ve also felt less alone because of this channel. I’ve been encouraged and refreshed by Mike’s teaching and I’m just grateful to God for his faithful service he truly does it to bless anyone. To put it short, this guy clearly loves God and loves others.

I have been wanting a study of Hebrews for several years. I was blessed by this first episode and look forward to the next one.

Mike Winger does an excellent job of digging in and researching his topic. He does not just quickly form an opinion, but takes time to delve in and really look at a subject. He uses logic & evidence to support his teachings. His humility also comes through as he discusses a topic. He is not dictating, but sharing. He strikes me as someone who can admit that he is wrong and we need that type of teacher: diligent, logical, & humble.

I have learned how to think biblical about everything. I love how Mike explains all arguments for and against the topics that he covers in the Bible, and then challenges you to make your own conclusions. His open door policy for listeners to thoughtfully disagree with the conclusions he has formed on the topics he covers is amazing. And when he has made a mistake he humbles himself and publicly corrects where he has misspoken or if he’s gotten it wrong. His love for the church shines through when he openly calls out false teachers , Bible translators, and false prophets with disregard to how it may negatively impact him and his online ministry. I’m so excited to walk verse by verse through the book of Hebrews. LETS GO!

Mike is one of the best Bible teachers I have listened to. He carefully studies God’s Word and teaches it in a way to help everyone understand. If you want to understand what God has taught in the Bible, Mike is a great person to listen to. His women in ministry series was phenomenal and I am excited to hear him exposit Hebrews.

Hands. Down. The. Absolute. Best. Bible thinker will change your world for the better and definitely take you to eternity in the throne room. Best Christian information I have came across time after time… Mike Winger is thoughtful, bold, consistent and true to Gods word. Every episode is a winner, equipping the body of Christ like no other.

I have been listening for about a year, and so far Mike delivers. He is truly gifted in explaining the deep things from the Word of God, and yes, he gets you to think biblically. The book of Hebrews is my favorite book of the Bible for it shows how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament in all ways. I’m looking forward to Mike’s deep-dive into the book in the upcoming weeks!!!

Mike is passionate about The Word of God. His enthusiasm about sharing the beautiful truths found in Gods Word is contagious and that’s his goal, to make us think biblically about everything and dig into The Word. I sincerely appreciate all his work and am so excited to walk through the book of Hebrews with him. The Intro video was packed with nuggets of information and insights that make the book come alive with even deeper meaning than I already knew.

I was drawn to the “10 question” series, and appreciate the off-the-cuff, unprepared answers given, but sometimes the host overemphasizes his own politics or shoehorns in dogwhistles and virtue signals, never missing a chance to mention the evil political party of baby killers, CRT and wokeness, or how bad the gays are, even when the question had nothing to do with that. There is no grace in his tone when it comes to these topics. Typical evangelical apologist who believes they’re thinking reasonably but is just part of an uncritical circle jerk. Would do well if you already follow Fox News. It’s listenable, but the goal is to think like he does and not necessarily get at what the text is actually saying. I do also enjoy that this is a live stream YouTube available in audio form for long road trips, something I wish more people in this field would do.

I can’t say enough good things about Mike. He is a godly man with humility, brains, compassion, and solid teaching. His responses to questions on his “10 Questions” series are well thought through, and you can always count on him to admit it when he doesn’t know the answer. He does so without shame or embarrassment, but with curiosity and respect. I pray that God continues to use Mike and his ministry to reach people with the gospel, to encourage believers and to help strengthen their faith.

Mr. Winger is a wonderful Bible teacher. As a teenager I need everything in my Bible tool belt to equip me to face todays world. He points to what the WORD says- he encourages us to align our thoughts, opinion, and worldview with what the Bible says. Which is a sign of a genuine teacher who strives to tell others of Gods word with grace and truth. His dedication to his 6 hour head covering video makes me marvel. We will forever love Mr. Winger, his gummy bear jar, his cats, and most of all his gift for teaching. He has helped me throughout middle school, and now half of high school with his 10 question videos which answer everything under the sun that a person could think up. I pray that more people are reached by him and his ministry! Thank you Mr.Winger for your dedication to the truth.

I was also looking to find a good podcast and me and my mom found this one it teaches the Bible and it has helped me.

I was doing some research on Christian podcasts and came about this one, right along with a good dozen or so recommended. Mikes, style is great and I especially enjoyed listening to the Q and A. What a wonderful way for people to learn more about God.

Clear, concise, and Scriptural teaching.

Much like the old phrase “there’s an app for that”- you will quickly realize that whatever the topic, as it relates to the Bible- there’s probably a Mike Winger series for that 😂 Mike’s content has been positively influential in my life for years! His Women in Ministry series is fame-worthy. Thank you Mike for your dedication to the work of bible literacy!
