DunbelieveableGreat podcast- to many Uh UmGreat guys. Some of the most knowledgeable guys doing a podcast. It would be great if he mentioned ideas he was passing up on. It’s a free country and a free podcast though. They should do a panel with a third investor that they like. Amended - you guys have to spend a few dollars on Upwork to get someone to edit out you Uh Um verbal pauses. Amended - Jeff finally bringers up a stock, but doesn’t prepare any notes that he knows he would want personally.

LearnEveryday84Small investments need love tooMega cap analysis and opinions on small cap businesses is awesome to have. Most small caps have less filings, data and financial numbers and have a hard time trying to get the best picture possible. As a small entrepreneur it’s interesting to learn about smaller companies and the way they operate, grow and function internally.

JLegacy33Great stuffGeoff and Andrew are simply the best creators of content for diligent individual investors. The podcast is a terrific resource and a wonderful way to grow your knowledge and wisdom as it relates to business as a whole as well as investing. Thanks guys for sharing your journey and discussions with us. Cheers 👏👏

Big-daddy85The only podcast I never miss an episode ofIf you have come to learn, you’ve found the right place. I love the new long form podcast from Geoff and Andrew. It’s the best form of journalism there is. Ample time to get beyond the headlines and discuss the variables driving the headlines. They freely share old ideas and current ideas, but most importantly their thinking behind the ideas. I never miss an episode.
-
BrianRightWaaayyy too longWould be awesome if it was shorter. I know their approach is long form, but even on double speed, it gets somewhat repetitive and too drawn out. I stoped listening because of the length. Both hosts are great and super knowledgeable, however!

Pinky1776The number one value investing podcast (At least in my book!)Focused Compounding is the first value investing podcast I listened to and, in my humble opinion, it’s also the best value investing podcast. I love the dynamic between Geoff and Andrew: Andrew asks Geoff questions (or reader questions) and lets Geoff take center stage. It’s like listening to Einstein interviewing Niels Bohr with Einstein shining a light on Bohr rather than trying to show off his own knowledge (or perhaps Munger interviewing Buffett or vice-versa!). I also enjoy how, without dumbing anything down, Andrew and Geoff make value investing concepts accessible to people who don’t follow stocks too closely but still consider themselves value investors (like this review’s author). While I enjoy the handful of other value investing podcasts out there, I feel that they get a little too value-nerdy… where, to really understand the discussion, it helps to read Value Investors Club regularly so you’re in-the-know on the hotly debated value stocks there. Lastly, a disclosure: I’m an investor in Geoff and Andrew’s fund. However, the whole reason I became an investor in the first place is because of this podcast: I learned how the two of them think and that gave me the confidence to put money with them. Not trying to encourage anyone to invest or not invest with them, just pointing out that the podcast is so good that I decided to invest with them!

DeezeezyGoodUseful explanations, very simple. Thanks guys. Gave 4 instead of 5 stats because can get a little boring and repetitive

Suresh MunagalaAn excellent investing podcastI am a regular listener of this podcast . I admire Geoff Gannon’s knowledge and his ability and patience in explaining the concepts related to investing is commendable . Thanks a lot Suresh

MasonWartmanProfessor GannonGeoff is literally the only “pundit” worth listening to. He doesn’t speculate or predict. He analyzes situations and presents his finds clearly. I sometimes disagree with his emphasis or conclusions, but I always respect his process. Highly recommend!

JudahForceGannon UniversityIt should be required that all prospective MBA students attend “Gannon University” before getting their degree. You can probably learn more about business and investing listening to every one of Geoff and Andrew’s Focused Compounding podcast than you can get at almost any major University. I was the founder and CEO of a midsize operating business for 13 years and now have a small fund, and there are still insights I pick up from Geoff. The combination of Andrew’s interesting and direct questions, and Geoff’s unparalleled deep knowledge of business fundamentals creates a magical podcast. Geoff and Andrew - you are both doing a great public service. Don’t ever break up like the Beatles!
-
Jimmy johns to the LakeGreat podcastAndrew and Geoff offer so much high quality content! If you're interested in learning the keys to being a good value investor check out this podcast.
-
will.baoIntro too long.Way too long of an intro. Content is decent. Too much hidden behind paywall. No one cares unless you have the returns to back it up too. Which is hidden or at least not easily found.
-
Kenbats10k ReviewLove the podcast where you went through the 10k it’s much better than the snap-judgements. Overall this is the best investing podcast by far. Keep up the great work.
-
Read reviews1+1=5Geoff and Andrew really bring out the best in each other. The team will accomplish so much more than adding together what they could accomplish individually. The podcast gets better with each episode. Geoff’s investing process is the value one gets for free. Andrew asks the perfect questions to tease out what Geoff is thinking but unlikely to say on his own. The entertaining conversations between two friends with very different personalities makes the podcast very enjoyable to the listener.

POWERlifeA Real Investing PodcastThis program is the best in its class. It’s shorter than most, but I find myself listening to each episode twice because they’re so full of useful investing information. Geoff is a total wizard and reminds me of Buffett in his early days. If you’re looking for information on Tesla hype or the latest Cannibis company, look elsewhere. If you want to increase your expertise in fundamental analysis of investable companies, subscribe now and carefully listen to each episode. I look forward to following Andrew and Geoff and see great success in their future.
-
JToner01Fantastic content - great investment insightI found Geoff in 2007 and have read everything he’s written since. He’s a great investor doing great original research and I’ve learned a lot from him. I’m an analyst and PM at a large institutional investment manager and find great value in his work. Andrew has proven to be a great partner for Geoff - smart and curious, and gregarious to the point where he gets the best out of Geoff. These guys are a great team and we’re lucky they put out so much free content. Thanks guy!
-
Feuerball99Great podcastGreat podcast for aspiring investors. Geoff explains fundamental concepts like float, ROE etc very well so even a high school kid can understand it, yet dives deep into some more arcane things too. I highly recommend it and look forward to each new episode. It’s produced very well too in terms of sound quality.
-
J_KirbsKeep Up the Great Work!Great podcast if you already have some investing knowledge and want to get off the beaten large-cap path many larger platforms don’t stray from. Geoff and Andrew walk a great line between over and under explaining, always have new opportunities I’ve never heard of to discuss, and just generally have nuanced thoughts. I’ve recommended many of my friends and intend to keep doing so!
-
eagles42101Great!Awesome investing podcast for all investors.
-
.travelingReally good podcastThe guys have a lot of intelligent things to say about a lot of investing topics.
-
mhansensdcaModern day Munger and BuffettWhen I listen to these two I feel as if I’m getting in on substantive Munger and Buffett discussions that were never divulged to the public. Focused Compounding consists of a magnificent duo and two geniuses in their own right. They are wise enough to share their wisdom with the public, which will open the doors to a bright future.
-
Pestilence_For Serious InvestorsI like that they will discuss financial ratios at a very granular level. So many podcasts want to appeal to a broad audience and so they’re afraid to get in the weeds, but that’s critical to evaluating the value of a prospective security.
-
RohitPagariyaGreat investing content and overlooked stock ideasAndrew and Geoff have a great investment focused podcast. I have learned a lot about their investing principles, styles, and stock ideas from the podcast. I recommend this podcast to anyone looking to improve their investing skills
-
EndurozwMy favorite new investing podcast*A not useful thought, Geoff sounds like Gilfoyle from Silicon Valley and now I don’t want to know what he looks like in real life* This podcast has quickly become my new favorite for weekly listening. it’s not like other podcasts which are a bunch of fluff they actually go into 10 K and other items and talk about which metrics work and don’t work.
-

Dana BlancExcellentThis is probably the highest listening time/education breakthrough podcasts there is. After finding it, I listened to every episode and can honestly say I am a better investor for it.
-
Brett BroganDo you want to learn? If you want to learn you’ll listen to this podcast by Andrew and Geoff. This podcast will leave you enthralled, inquisitive, and not bored to death. Investing and economics are not the most exciting topics for majority of the population. Andrew and Geoff provide exemplary insights alongside entertaining guests that will keep you coming back for more !

SWestroppGreat content for investorsAndrew and Geoff are both great hosts with a breathe of knowledge on many investment topics. Guest lineup lately has been really solid as well. I hope they keep up the good work as so far there has been some great nuggets. I personally like the Nate Tobik episode as he takes a very similar view to investing as myself.

-
BklynanalystMy favorite podcastGeoff Gannon isn’t a widely known name in investing, but he should be. I continue to be impressed by his independent thinking and the knowledge and experience he is willing to share. If you want to really learn how to be an investor, read his blog and listen to this podcast.
-

-
Vimal & SonsVery UsefulVery candid and immensely useful for all investors.
-
PoursharifAwesome PodcastGreat host! I highly recommend listening to this Podcast
-
Lynch PinThoughtful and insightful discussionsThis is one of the few investing podcasts that doesn’t try to hype a market crash or promise 1000% returns in only months. They don’t give away specific stocks to buy right now. They do talk about past investments, what their reasoning was, and the outcome. Very insightful and good for learning new ideas.
-
