I absolutely love this podcast, but I feel like my interest is starting to fade. Lately, there’s been a heavier focus on true crime, which is great, but I really miss the variety—unsolved mysteries, Bigfoot, theme park accidents, and those random, unexpected topics that made the show stand out. Bringing back more of those episodes could really capture listeners’ attention since it sets this podcast apart from so many others. That said, I’m a longtime fan and have been a loyal listener for years—I’ll always support the show!

You can tell they aren’t involved in writing the scripts or editing the podcast anymore. Their whole company is full of friends and family instead of actual researchers, writers and editors. I’ve never seen a podcast that has so much random input from producers too Episodes will just have random memes, videos and they’ll make jokes that feel insensitive Kendall said that “N*zi’s were low key woke” in an earlier episode and both her and Josh awkwardly bicker a lot, no it’s not banter it’s bickering about pointless things. She acts condescending towards him A lot of the scripts for their episodes are ripped straight from documentaries, the Lauren Spier case is nearly identical to the subreddit’s write up on her case I can’t get over that horribly made documentary on Jessica Easterly. Nothing made sense, you didn’t know anything on her case or what was going on. Most people in the comments were saying they couldn’t even make it a half hour in. If there wasn’t much information then why make a full documentary? They have dark weeks and constantly go on vacation but won’t say anything until the day of (if at all). One time they left their dog who was recovering from surgery to go on vacation I think they need to cut back on the amount of episodes they do or just eliminate a show, their hearts don’t seem to be in it anymore

I’ve listened to this podcast for a while. As I have of all of the mile higher media shows. My only complaint is that I really wish it didn’t become predominantly true crime. Between this, Kendall’s true crime show, and lights out, it can feel like a lot of the same thing…which can get boring 😭 I just miss when there were more episodes that seemed to open your mind more.

Pushes too much political opinions

This podcast is my new obsession! I love the topics they choose and the way they cover them in a conversational yet informed and structured way. Just the right amount of banter, not too much nor too little.

The constant disrespect to law enforcement while simultaneously going overboard to make sure respect is given to cult members, because they’re trans, is so ignorant. Criminals are the bad guys. Those that protect us from them are the good guys. Period. How can anything you say be trusted when you’re this confused?

I first started by listening to Kendall. I found her one night when I couldn’t sleep on Facebook videos. Found her channel on YouTube and never looked back. Love that they’re local, well kinda. I’m in Colorado Springs, CO so fairly close to them. She did a few episodes with her husband Josh, and the chemistry and banter was great! Took me a little longer to try Mile Higher, but once I did; I binged 7 years of content in 4ish months. Some of the episodes I found a little dry, but I know that they’re trying their hardest to provide content towards ALL their fans. Keep it up guys! Love the show

The length is perfect, if you don’t like it pause and come again.

How can anyone be expected to trust a podcast and its hosts that lie to its listeners about the sex of the people involved? Done. Please get a real job as a journalist if you want to instead of just repeating the research and work other people have done by actually talking to these people involved in the cases.

I was listening to the episode on the Zizian cult members. At the beginning of the episode Kendall begins talking about how many people involved were trans and goes on this pandering rant about how they’re going to respect their pronouns and identity. Girl, they’re cult murderers. By all means use the pronouns that these people reportedly use, but you don’t have to pander that hard. Kendall especially does this a lot, she has to make sure that her audience knows how unproblematic and nice she is to the point where she can’t really express a clear opinion or objectively tell a story. Overall a fine podcast, but their narration style rubs me the wrong way. They spend too much time discussing irrelevant current events to the point where it gets frustrating listening to an old episode.

I very much enjoy Kendall‘s podcast and this one has the potential to be good, but episodes are too long due to overdoses of dialogue and unnecessary details.

Sorry! These seem like nice people but I just listened to the episode About Bryan Johnson and I was dismayed that I’ve been listening for 25 minutes so far and still don’t know what the f this is about or who Bryan Johnson is? I have been listening to Kendall’s true crime solo show and enjoyed it but my god, this episode is horrible so far. And now time for a commercial break! Personally I also hate that there are these other people on the podcast that aren’t listed as being hosts. Just these random people who keep cutting in. Overall I would agree with other reviewers who have said they put this show on when they have nothing else to listen to and are waiting for their other podcasters to put out new shows. Truly terrible and unprofessional. Senseless but overall harmless babble.

And research, but the ads are too much. I know you need to make money, but they constantly interrupt the flow of the episodes. It's distracting and truly ruins the flow of your great topics. Addition: The Bryan Johnson episode-everything sounds like a cult to me. A rich obsessive egomaniac who claims he's working to change people's lives. But is really only concerned with changing his own life. I'm surprise there is any speculation that he might be relatively harmless. I know you said time will tell, but unlike his "research," we already have a traceable historical record of what people like this end up doing to those who follow and trust them.

I believe these reviews are on the show and not a specific episode, but I want to talk about the most recent episode with the sweethearts that were murdered in Colorado. Was the “witness” ever looked into? Brandy, right? She went missing. How do you know that she didn’t do it. Maybe she had a crush or something on Nick and was jealous of the girlfriend and she did it and then staged herself to drive by and find them. Maybe she saw what happened and that’s why she disappeared, but I really didn’t hear you touch on whether she was actually ever looked into as a suspect??

Love this podcast, love the chatter, love the varying opinions. I do not like how cop biases seem to be more frequent. I’m not a pro cop or ACAB, just a normal person. I think yall are so quick to lay blame at kind of law enforcement for mistakes, or even what you perceive as a mistake. Also, really enjoying Ian. He’s a great addition to the show.

I’m a fairly new listener but I’ve listened to random episodes. A lot of them. Please stop saying “interesting”. Good god Kendall says it every time she speaks! And Janel…seriously…we get it…you have a college education. A lot of us do. U add less than nothing when you speak. Josh is just pompous. He cuts off Kendall all the time. Maybe the newer episodes get better but I’m not going to stick around to find out. I like Kendall’s show…usually

i’ve been looking for a new podcast, and I thought I found the one, but with the ad popping up. Almost every 10-15 minutes. It’s quite annoying and they are the same ads plus them promoting ads. Is this even a podcast?!? lol I really enjoyed everything else. Just it’s quite annoying when you’re getting into the Podcasts and the ad’s pops up out of nowhere, and it’s usually extremely loud.

I’m obsessed with this podcast. I found it this year and am going back and listening from the very beginning.

As a licensed therapist I was very upset that you had a person on speaking with some sort of self imposed authority to speak to a Psychiatric Disorder. It’s reckless and dangerous. There was a lot of incorrect stereotyping. So disappointing as I really liked this show. I did prefer it with just Kendall and her husband.

They are easy to understand and don’t talk about nothing for 20 minutes at the beginning like many other podcasts. I don’t even mind the ads and if you do, do the ad free? My issue is they go on tangents about random things and making up crazy theories with no proof.

5 star love this podcast! You should do an episode on Dr. Death - Christopher Duntsch. A neurosurgeon who botched multiple surgeries! Thanks!!

Started listening to this podcast and it’s not a go-to for me but more of something to listen to when I don’t have anything else. There’s quite a few interesting topics and they have really improved their quality of story telling and for the most part their commentary is relevant and interesting ! One thing I will mention is their commentary about certain topics is uneducated about the subject. For example their latest episode talks briefly about shark bites, it would have been nice to see them do a bit of education on how sharks aren’t man eating machines like most of the world believes them to be. sharks already face extinction by human actions and don’t need more bad publicity to make people fear and want to eliminate them even more. Thanks. Also I enjoy Josh’s other podcast “lights out” 100 times more than this one.

I really like this podcast and have for years! Can you guys please add in a small sound before the ads, because sometimes they land mid sentence and it can be a little confusing. Lots of love for Mile Higher media<3

Ads are getting out of control

Will be listening for many many many more years Temporary update: your takes on Prisma were disappointing. Let me get this straight. You want me to feel bad for a homewrecker, who blew up her career, drunk drove, and pointed a gun at random civilians? It’s so wild how shocked you are that a person that unstable ended up the way she did. And your over the top sympathy is more harmful than you realize. How about be critical that she willing played a role in an affair? A little judgement can actually be a good thing, it can keep individuals safe by learning from others mistakes. Did she deserve to lose her life? No!! Is this case a shocker? Nope. You only care because she’s a mom. If she were a guy who drunk drove to an ex’s house while road raging with a gun, your tone would be different and you know it. Stop the victim bias. Update update: not removing my updated review because Kendall specifically mentioned she didn’t like the comments on Prisma. But my new update comes after the Drew Peterson episode, I’m writing this while listening to your introduction. People tune in to hear the story, NOT how this specific case makes you feel. The way you speak sometimes is disgusting, Kendall. You’re so full of judgement, which is exactly why you aren’t a real journalist, you’re a social media reporter. The people at CNN didn’t cast their judgments when covering Ted Bundy, they let the body of work do the judging for them. I don’t need you to tell me how HORRIFIED and DISGUSTED you are at this vile human being. We aren’t dumb. Also, your new art is terrible.

Ads are ridiculous.

I’ve been listening to Kendall’s other podcast and this one for a while, but lately I have a hard time listening to her. I know they’re talking about crimes and they are terrible, but she speaks with so much hate it’s kind of sad. There’s so much hate in this world and I really don’t need to listen to another person speaking with hate in her tone. Josh is talking about the same things and you don’t hear hate in his tone.

I love this podcast and I’m still going to give it 5 stars. I have been a listener for years, but I do have to say recently the ads have been way over the top. 2 ad breaks in 10 minutes is excessive! Love y'all though.

They are so inaccurate in this episode and most of their episodes about Christianity. Christianity is about relationship and love not about the people who choose to do wrong in it. There will be bad people in all areas of life including Christianity. Why bash Joel Olsteen when they have never stepped foot in his church. He actually does stand at the front of the church after every Sunday service for those who want to meet him. They need to check their sources. Joel also personally baptizes hundreds of people several times a year himself and has a horrible back after but still does it so why tell lies. If you do not know facts especially about hearsay then you should just be quiet and Stop spreading rumors. They are lost in this world and should try to grow in Christ especially since they have a child, so she can have a chance at truth. FYI pastoral burnout is real. Kendall should take heed to her spiritual encounter in the shower. It’s real and not cause of the chords in the song. It’s the Holy Spirit coming through the song trying to tell her something. The Words in the song trying to reach her. Lead the family in the right direction and stop being a victim of this fallen world. I’ll be praying for them. Try nondenominational because religion is full of man made rules so stop being victim and experience real love beyond your imagination then you will know the truth.

One of my favorite podcasts! Sorry I didn’t tell you sooner. What caught my attention was the new picture! Fabulous! Seriously, I’ve been listening for a long time. You 2 deserve 5 Stars.

This podcast basically reads from Wikipedia and then inserts a Bunch of claims without factual information and stupid opinions. They are also just ad whoring now

The timing of ads makes the podcast almost unlistenable

I love Kendal Rae but it feels like a whole podcast of ads. I understand the importance of them but I think they could be placed better. IE not in the middle of a sentence every 5 minutes.

Too many ads for this to be enjoyable. What happened?

I love this show! I love all the conversations and the in depth research, but all the ads. There are so many now. I have to skip so much and it’s getting to the point that I may stop listening to

I really love the show and I’ve been listening for almost 3 years now. I do wish yall would do your ads differently. The way you are talking and then an ad comes on and you finish your sentence when the ad stops, is absolutely distracting. I hope that this ends up changing.

Cool show and interesting true crime missing persons topics. Hosts carry the show well and are calm and tell the story. No self promotion really or anything. Just a good solid podcast. Length of shows is great too.

I used to love this podcast (and all the Mile Higher family podcasts) but now it’s almost un-listenable for me. There’s ads every 5 minutes and half the time they cut directly in the middle of one of the hosts while they’re talking. I keep getting the same wierd “Punt” gambling ad over and over again. Can’t recommend at this point and it’s consistent throughout all of their related podcasts too.

I’ve been getting distracted lately by the fact that Josh really seems to dislike Kendall. If she says something he shuts her down every time. And he’s always cutting her off. He seems annoyed anytime she gives her opinion or questions his. The vibe has been so off lately.

Hey guys. Cool Show. Just wanted to suggest an alternate possibility, these “aliens” are actually demons or fallen angels from the spiritual realm.

I like these two and their own individual podcast. But I have to skip all their liberal views and get to the story telling. I mistakenly thought it was a murder/conspiracy podcast but I was wrong. So that being said, they tell some good stories once they get their personal feelings out.

I absolutely love you guys ! Y’all help my work day go by so much quicker! These podcasts are so entertaining! Been listening since 2020 and I absolutely love you guys keep it up !
