    Best Sci-fi
Worm and Ward have forever changed how I engage with sci-fi and fantasy. Some of the best fiction out there, and despite the immense length it never feels slow or dragging. Every day I implore people to start this criminally underrated series

    Excellent Story
I love worm and Ward and hope wildbow makes a 3rd parahumans story

    Wonderful podcast!
I love the podcast. There are some really weird pronunciation issues with names like Svetta being called Sietta in a chapter.

    Thank you
This podcast is great. I love parahumans (worm and ward) but I’m a big audiobook person. I like to listen while I commute, exercise, cook but I just don’t have time to sit down and read 1m words in text. This podcast is an audiobook version of that content, recorded by a community of volunteers who do a wonderful job turning ward into a high quality recording. I would gladly pay for this on audible if it was there, instead I support through patreon. I imagine it must take a tremendous number of hours to record and edit, and probably gets much less visibility than an equivalent audiobook. But ward is a web serial, I’m not sure how the format would adapt for audible. Great job rein and team. Thank you

    Heroes
It makes my entire day when I see that a new chapter of the Ward audiobook has been published. The music is amazing, and I love that it is different for each arc. The narration is great, and every chapter is easy to understand, even playing at 1.5x speed. A lot of polishing goes into each chapter, and it sure shows. Overall I feel even more invested in the story than I did in Worm, largely due to the incredible quality of the Ward audiobook. That’s no small compliment, as Worm has long been my favorite piece of media bar none. Thanks to the team behind this project!

    No ads, it’s all volunteer.
These guys are amazing. The fact that they spend their own time and resources to make such a quality reading of the ward (and worm) stories is more than we all deserve. I don’t think I would have made it through the stories without the help of this podcast. Some of the interludes drop off in quality a bit but it’s too distracting just pull up that chapter online.

    Truly incredible
I’ve been listening to the worm and now ward audiobooks since around 2019 (I think). Throughout that time I went through a rocky patch in my life and this was always an amazing outlet for me to slip away and enjoy a story that would have been too daunting for me to pick up and manually read. This has gotten me through countless commutes and neighborhood walks and has really made a difference in my life these past two years so thank you for making something that I really cherish.

    Top Notch Quality
This is an incredible work and such a cool example of community collaboration. Voice acting is stellar. The story, by Wildbow, is, of course, exciting and evocative and impactful.

    On par with proffesional recordings
I physically cannot recommend this enough. If you’re thinking about reading ward, this is the absolute best way to do so. Please keep it going!

    Amazing adaptation of great writing
After reading the Worm web serial a few years ago, I discovered the audiobook project last year and listened to it all of the way through during my long commutes to and from work. The fact that fans of the web serial started and sustained this project is impressive (it is an incredible amount of work). The audio/recording quality is great, the guest performers and group collaborations are fun, and the editing/sound mixing is high-quality. I have not read a single page of the sequel to Worm (Ward... this audiobook), but I have listened to every episode via this podcast, as it has been released. Robert 'Rein' Ramsay does the vast majority of the chapters, and his passion for delivering J.C. McCrae's epic story in audio form is apparent. Rein makes a fantastic narrator. He subtly (and consistently) changes his voice to help keep dialogue between characters distinct and easy to follow, and has just the right amount of expression and pacing to deliver the proper "feel" for each chapter. It is the highlight of my day when I get in the car, and see that another chapter has been published.

    I Am So Stoked!
You all got me to binge all of worm in one summer when I first found out about the audiobook a few years ago. I can’t believe I was oblivious enough to miss this starting up by a year but, I’m sure I’ll catch up again in no time. Thank all of you for working so hard to do honor to Wildbow and one of the best stories I have ever immersed myself in. I can’t wait to get lost in this world yet again!

    I love it!
I’m so sad that I’ve gotten all caught up because this one of my favorite things to listen to and now I have to wait every few days to get my fix. Y’all are doing an amazing job recording this.

    Can’t wait for more!
This is off to a good start, and the production is amazing. I love how all the voices are fans of the series, it makes it sound so much more “real.” Keep up the good work!

    We love Rein!
The time and effort that Rein and his team put into these audiobooks are amazing. So impressed and grateful for the work on the Worm audiobook and now for Ward. Can’t wait to listen along. Thanks! Five stars - great for any fans of Wildbow’s works or just fans of great storytelling.
