Worth listening for hundreds of hours

The content of Scott Alexander’s blog is phenomenal, and the narration is perfect. This is the best podcast.

I have learned more from this podcast than all others combined. It has been a joy listening to all 500 episodes.

I never write reviews but I’m so incredibly thankful this podcast exists. It’s a joy to be able to listen to SSC on the road, and I Jeremiah (the narrator) has such a lovely way of reading them. The fact that he’s taking on this project is impressive, as is how perfectly he’s pulled it off. Thank you Jeremiah! Update: Solenoid Entity has (I presume) taken up the task through necessity of recording new episodes. While he’s not quite on Jeremiah’s level of clean speaking, and the audio can get pretty reverby at times, I can’t thank him enough for continuing this good work. Thank you Solenoid Entity!

The voice reading the material has changed in recent episodes. The new voice is somewhat “indistinct”, and is harder to listen to in less than perfect situations. E.g., When I run and listen via Bluetooth speakers, I can’t quite make out what he is saying.

Excellent info great transparency honest deliberation and consideration of difficult and fascinating topics

As I don’t always have time to read the blog, it’s great to have an audio option.

I think more people having access to Slate Star Codex is a good thing so I have reviewed this podcast

SSC is brilliant and consistently thought-provoking on a wide range of subjects. The posts can be long, so I prefer listening to the podcast. The narration is really well done. I recommend listening to it sped up.

Scott Alexander is brilliant and great thanks to the person who brings his blogs to audio. Any chance of a less sing song delivery, though?
