Listened to episode 305, was browsing for a Christian Bible study. I was blown away by Matt and Todd in the description of Daniel. I’m a newer Christian and baptized a year ago 3/30/24. I’m yearning to listen and learn more and I found these brothers in Christ.

Thank you both for having this podcast. When I hear and study scripture it gives me hope. I loved hearing about Daniel scripture. I can relate at this moment of waiting for my prayers to be answered. I am unemployed for about 6 months and other struggles. However,I am blessed though to have family, friends to help my family. God is good and I just have to be patient. You guys are awesome and keep spreading the word.

Podcast 303 is excellent for the person dealing with regret or wondering if they made the right choice in life, or the person currently making a decision, both of these desiring to walk with the Spirit. This is a topic you rarely hear from pastors, and yet so needed. It’s also for the person wondering why God said no. In my case, God said no to the adoption of our second child, and this episode supported my faith that God had other wonderful plans for this child and for us. Thank you, I’ll listen again.

I have been listening to Bible stories for the last few years and and appreciate the way that Matt and Todd continue to deliver content that gives new insight on familiar Bible stories but also teaches about topics that aren’t widely covered. They do so in a way that makes you laugh, keeps you captivated, and makes you come back for more each week. I’ve been listening, shall I be honest… I have been binge listening:.. to Bible Stories by Matt and Todd over the past 2 weeks or so when I get ready for work in the morning. I am now on my second round, no surprise there. I love how Matt and Todd stick to the true word of God, incorporating real stories from the Bible, while still relating them to real life scenarios that are both engaging, and entertaining. I am proud to be in the Mom’s Friends Club. I think it would be a great idea to have T-shirts made. Keep it going, guys. The world needs it, and we love it! I truly thank you for all that you guys do.

I found this podcast in 2020 when I needed to cling to God through a very difficult time in my life. I would listen during my treatments but it wasn’t until this past year of listening all over again that I started really understanding the Bible and immersing my self in the word of God. Hi guys, I have been listening to your podcasts on Spotify for months now on my way to highschool every morning, and I really appreciate how you make the Bible easy to understand, and I love starting my day with the word of God. Also, I have had a question for a little while now and was wondering if you guys could answer it? What do you think about listening to rap music? As an athlete, it really helps me focus when I am working out and pre game. I have tried Christian rap but I am just not a huge fan. I do not listen to it throughout the day, only when I lift or before a game/practice, and do not feel that it affects my behavior. I pray before and after workouts as well. I also make sure to “fast” from it and will not listen to rap for a month or so. Is it something that I can regulate like that, or does it have to be cut out completely? Thank you guys so much for everything you do.

As a person fairly new to Bible study, I am so grateful for this podcast. Matt and Todd have a gift for breaking down the Bible so that it can be easily understood by all. I also appreciate the humor they infuse into each episode, which keeps me coming back for more. Their moms must be so proud! 😂

I turned back to my faith almost a year ago and found this podcast soon after. It has helped me learn more about what I’m reading in my studies and how to get closer to god, the only thing I would recommend is longer form episodes. Other than that, keep it rocking:) also I listen to a lot of Christian metal and a song I like has a feature with a Matt Mullins so that threw me through a loop lol

Matt and Todd, Your podcasts have continuously touched my heart and convicted me to pick back up learning the scriptures. I found you guys and your message in a very low point in life. But it was a blessing in disguise. I have now pivoted my life again back towards Jesus and I have been wanting/trying to write my own set of devotionals to help bring people to Christ as much as I can. Bible Stories by Matt and Todd is my new go-to for holy hilarity and genuine wisdom! These guys manage to make scripture stories relatable without losing any of the depth, and they do it all with a sense of humor that keeps me laughing (and learning). The worst religious podcast. I’ve listened to in the last two weeks, filled with nothing but effeminate guy talk.

I enjoy your humor in telling the stories of the Bible. Recently one of you said Ruth had to face racism when she went back with her mother in lawn. However is race a Christian concept? It was in 1730 that a anthropologist coined the term “race”. That anthropologist also claimed that there were in the world four races. Decades later Darwin added this idea to origin of the species. Prejudice is the correct term in the sense where racism is used. Was there more than one Christ? Can we not exchange blood no matter what country we came from? Race gives the idea that there are lower and superior levels. We are all equal in God’s eyes, even if we are not in each other’s. I pray we do realize that we are all men and women in God’s image. I’m old, so it’s a sticking point for me.😉

Hi Mr. Todd and Mr. Matt, I like to think of myself as a new Christian. Recently, I’ve been looking for ways to get closer to God through multiple mediums like music, podcasts, videos, etc..However, you guys’s podcast has seem to be the only thing to stick and hold out for me. I started listening to you guys last month and everyday as soon as I get to work I immediately turn on the podcast and let it play until it’s time for me to go home. I started from the very first episode and I am currently working my way down the list. You guys do an amazing job making the podcasts relatable and fun especially for a GenZ’er like me. The content is easy to digest and follow along as someone who likes to compare and contrast from reading my bible and having a detailed explanation (you guys). It’s been an amazing journey thus far and I hope you guys never stop making them! Thanks so much for helping spreading the gospel, it’s a dire need! You’re literally doing the lords work and I’m very grateful, keep up the good work!

Great about speaking on stories but dislike the music that they sing in their videos sometimes. It’s contradictory to what I’m trying to do. I tried to keep listening and not let that hinder me but I get those songs stuck in my head as if I’ve just walked out of a Walmart. It’s inevitable but hoping to find another podcast that does the same thing without secular music especially with it being a Christian podcast. EDIT: The podcasts I was listening to were older ones from 2017. Other than them speaking on biblical stories, I didn’t notice many fruits in their podcasts; however , their newer ones are completely different. Changed my rating to a 5 star. Thankful for Jesus and His power in transforming our lives!

My wife introduced me to this podcast because she loves the silly banter that happens between Matt and Todd. Now I am listening several hours a day to this podcast from the beginning when it started in 2017. I have always had a relationship with the lord and loved learning about him but I’ve just started reading the Bible all the way through and not only have you guys helped me understand the stories deeper but the mixture of social media references and talking how I talk I feel so understood.
