Funny, entertaining, insightful, intelligent and interesting. It’s like having out with your friends and listening to them talk about shows-especially about House of the dragon and Game of Thrones.

Glad I recently discovered Nerd Soup while looking for other HotD podcasts. I really appreciate the maturity you two bring, while still fitting in a few laughs. Keep up the good work. (I’ll leave it at that, I was tempted to drag some of the other podcasters, but I’ll hold off.)

I was debating playing a drinking game where I’d take a shot every time you guys mentioned HOD/GOT on the Rings of Power episodes, but I shortly realized I’d sooner expire of alcohol poisoning. Really like the pod, but maybe try and focus on the subject of your episodes, bc there are people that ACTUALLY enjoy the shows they’re tuning in to hear about. The end of your most recent episode (ROP 5) when you guys went off on a tangent regarding GOT characters totally killed my vibe, and i turned off the podcast without finishing. Still giving you 5 stars, but if you guys continue this energy, I won’t be tuning in for the rest of the ROP episodes.

Interesting how I keep hearing people say daemon got beat up by cristen cole, looked basically even to me and if anything daemon won if they were actually on a battlefield I doubt he would have turned around cheering

First known about these guys when Game of thrones was airing. Have listened to every single pod ever since. There’s just such a casual vibe about these guys that make it seem like your listening to a bunch of your friends talking about recent movies or tv shows. I don’t always agree with them (Matrix 4, really Beau?) but what’s the point of always listening to someone you agree with? They aren’t pushy about their opinions and always keep it lighthearted. They’ve slowed down the number of pods since the Thrones days, but I’ll always be a long listener and I hope the pod will grow in success in the years to come.

What sets this podcast apart from the rest of the TV/Movie/general entertainment podcasts out there is that they don’t pretend to be something they’re not. They don’t put on over-the-top characters or have ridiculous TV anchor voices. These guys tell it like it is. It really feels like you’re sitting around talking about movies and TV with the boys when you’re listening to this podcast.

Poor opinions about movies. These ladies need to let the pod go. Waste of time to even listen to these fools… Hot garbage.

Been following them since almost all their content was game of thrones. It’s cool to see how they’ve grown the channel since then. I honestly can’t wait to hear their takes after I see a movie or watch a tv show.

I’ve been listening to Beau, Aaron, Nash, and Teddy (and Marissa) for, well… wow… several years now. NerdSoup is by far my favorite podcast above any podcast out there! (And I’m a podcast junkie) I love the banter and shenanigans each episode. It feels like I’m in the room with these guys every time I listen. And just like a TV show, I can’t wait to hear what happens in their world next. These guys do such a great job engaging with their audience and their fans. They ALWAYS incorporate their fans questions on every single episode and actively talk to their fans on social media, and offer fun and engaging contests, Twitter polls and reward fan support with merchandise. This is a podcast primarily about movies, tv shows and nerd pop culture. I’m an average movie goer but I’ve grown an appreciation for cinema listening to these guys. These NerdSoup boys are the TRUE kings of Staten Island… or Long Island to be more accurate! I love each nerd soup member and love the charm and quality they bring to the podcast. It’s easy to see how much they care about this podcast they’ve created to together and the love for the fans that have supported them throughout. Personally, I can’t imagine a world without a NerdSoup Podcast and hope they have massive success in the years to come!

I highly enjoy the pod. However whenever the boys know nothing about a particular topic they wing it and try to fake their way through. It’s okay guys if you don’t know, just say so. Faking it makes you look dopey.

You folks are killin it. Keep giving us those boiling hot takes and laser pinpoint theories. Your sports analogies keep this fantastical stuff real and relatable. Great job.

I’ve been listening for a couple years and this is one of the most consistent podcasts around. I make it a point to catch each episode. Funny, insightful, and entertaining. This is my premiere source for nerdy discussion.

I could listen to the soup crew all day. Best movie/tv/ overall pop cultural pod I’ve ever found. Also you gotta love Ted’s character arc.

The only nerds I will not bully.

I learned about this channel a few years back during the GoT hype. They were doing an episode review starting from the beginning and each one got better and better. It helped me find brand new appreciations for characters I already loved. I remember one episode they said that Tyrion is really Tywin but with empathy and it blew my mind how perfectly that encapsulated his persona. I got back in when they started doing their Marvel reviews from scratch and I’ve been hooked ever since. A lot of their takes are brilliant and have amazing analogies you’ll specifically love if you’re big into the NBA. Each host brings their own unique perspective and you really don’t feel like they are just voices. They let you into bits of their personal lives and you almost feel like you’re a pseudo-part of their friendship just by listening every week. These guys are hilarious and I don’t plan on missing an episode for a very long time! Can’t wait to see what the future holds.

5 stars. Great show. Great dudes. Great fast food discussions. Occasional film talk. Teddy is a chump. Aaron is an enigma. And Beau sounds like he needs a hug (blame the Rise of Skywalker). I could listen to then talk about GoT all day. I want more Nash— but also less Nash.

Not too opinionated, not too mean, interesting things to say.

Started listening to the GoT videos on youtube, now watch all kinds of things from them, the boys, watchmen, some movies, and more. Kind of an undercover nerd / binge watcher, in that most of my friends don’t want to talk abt tv all day. I was looking for thoughts on particular like prestige tv and sci fi / even the marvel universe and theories on things just bc i wanted to hear other views on it or have things explained. I just wanted to get thoughts from like other brown ppl, and who included women, can’t listen to a bunch of white guys just miss everything abt race or gender or class when talkin abt these shows and this was the perfect antidote.!!. I rlly enjoy their commentary and their playfulness / the way they interact as a group. Commenting here to ask - could you PLEASE watch Wayne and do ep or series video on ur thoughts???!! Formerly youtube premium, now on amazon, and i just want it to get picked up for a second season, please please watch and give thoughts if u like it or not!! V in line w the boys, and some other shows u have talked about!

Just wish they would actually talk about the topics for longer. They’ll talk about something for 10 minutes and then, quite literally, the rest of the podcast is just random conversations about nothing.

Just realized you guys stopped posting the podcasts on YouTube, came here and the soup was still good!

Beau, Aaron, young Theodore, Marissa and occasionally Nash have a very conversational approach to dissecting pop culture. It’s a pleasure to hear smart and forward thinking conversations from people in their twenties, without stereotypical attitudes or pandering to a perceived audience. It’s the highlight of the week to listen in, even to the sports stuff.

GOT reviews were enjoyable and insightful. Not a loyal audience for Marvels DC big franchise, but I can understand why that became the main content. I came back mainly for revisiting the chemistry of the trio. Missing the good old animations!

I first found these guys when watching the lastGame of Thrones season. Thankfully they did a full season recap and I listened to every one. Love the show and topic of all things superhero and super natural. Keep it up!

I found this podcast during Game of Thrones and was instantly hooked. I have listened to every episode and actually have Nerd Soup on every day while I work. I've probably listened to every episode at least 10 times. It's like Seinfeld...I could watch over and over and never get bored...same thing about these podcasts!! My only feedback is I wish they were longer. Thanks for keeping me entertained and informed! Bri

I love this group of goofs. I’ve been listening for a couple of years and they just get better with time. They are so insightful about things while also being hilarious. I look forward to starting my days with them because they’re just a group of friends talking about what they like and having fun. Everyone is great to listen to, Nash who appears once every blue moon always keeps it interesting, Marissa is so knowledgeable and cute, Aaron’s meltdowns are iconic, Teddy always keeps me laughing and Bo’s constant smack talk is brilliant. Keep up the good work because you guys are my favorite YouTube channel/podcast!

I have been following these goofy nerds since the first. The have gone through many phases, and with each succession they have strengthened their voice and narrative. Somehow they always find a way to become smarter and more comical. Follow for movie news and critiques.
