rezdogNewcastleThe assumption is rediculous. Can’t the problem be be the style of play. The notion that football should resemble rugby and expect the athlete to last schedule is ridiculous. Football is beautiful and shouldn’t have this nasty taste.

Troy MUFC83Excellent PodcastBeing a new soccer fan from Michigan I was happy to find a pod that breaks down each team really well with out to much bias. Keep up the good work Nial Joel and Marley GGMU!

notakaren-karenThank YouThank you so much for your discussion about Sarah Everard and the difficulties women face on a daily basis. I was so heartened that you have used your platform, that reaches so many men and women, to educate and advocate for women’s safety and equality! Truly, thank you.

escottgbAmazing podcastAbsolutely love this podcast. I have been listening since last January and I haven’t missed an episode in that time. It’s a great way to stay up to date on everything. Living in the states it is hard to find good premier league content so thank you! Although as a Liverpool fan I have to say I wish United and City fans didn’t end up reviewing our games. A less bias perspective would be nice. Especially lately. Please call Steve in and give him a minute or two to weigh in. But it is a podcast for the whole league so I get it. Cheers!

Dwats26Supreme podcast!Hey sport social crew I am a Man U fan from California I have listened to the podcast everyday for the past two years even back when it was premier league daily. I wanted to leave a 5 star review because you all provide great in depth banter about the league day to day, as well as European competitions. Its difficult to watch most games due to time the time difference this is a great show to catch up every day of the week. I have yet to find a podcast that comes close to providing the value of sports social daily.

BK Heng949One year anniversary (2nd review)Hey Jim! Also, hello to all the lads! I’m not sure if you remember but I’m that same Cambodian guy who wrote a review a year ago and here i am still. It’s been over a year. Thank you so much for the daily fix of football news <3

ThomMetUSGreat informative podcastThe football social daily lads are always good for a listen on a daily basis when I’m either walking the dog, driving the car, making dinner or passing the time at some random time in the evening. The influx of Scots into the show have been a pleasant change from the other accents on the show. Also, I have to say I do like it when Marley goes on one of his Steve Bruce rants! What will he do if the guy ever gets the sack! Keep up the great work lads!

Lucas -1020Love your show from the US!Your podcasts have helped me through so many shifts at work! How do you plan on celebrating Tottenham’s treble this season?

CBitar38Love the show!Although Niall has alienated Tottenham fans with his remarks (sarcasm noted here) I still love the show and the insight that is given! Being in the States, good coverage of the Premier League is hard to come by. That being said, your show is a daily podcast of mine. I listen to it cooking, working out, driving to work, or any other chance I get! Keep up the good work; and Jim, I’m hoping to get a shout out this third time around! - Christian, Denver, CO Tottenham fan

HudsonaterAmerican InterpretationsDo you all think Scotland hates Marley as much as Marley hates Scotland? I know the British generally scoff at American takes on football, but I love the way Scotland play like it’s still the 1980s, good old fashioned grinds, fighting tooth and nail for any possible point, and putting everything (including their bodies) on the line to beat much more talented opposition. Mark my words, Scotland defeats England 1-0 at Wembley in June. Love the podcast- it is articulate, well-researched, and consistently informative and thought provoking. My friends and I like to listen in the car together. Cheers! - Hudson Stephens, Westport NY, USA

The Con40The Joe Rogan of Daily Premier League PodcastsKeep up the stellar content. We need more Marley Rants!!! Brilliant Chris in NYC

Dan SaintAlmost AmazingWorld class Edutainment for every day listening! Great cast with diverse perspectives. I’ll change this to a 5star review if you bring back the cliche bell and Steve could actually speak about any club for 5 minutes without mentioning his beloved Liverpool. Cheers from Boston, USA! Thx for the bell, Niall! Love you guys!

The happy wife to beThank you bunches - from a happy wife to beMy fiancé listens to this podcast most mornings and I can honestly say our relationship is better for it. You keep him in the know, connected and informed and that means I can sit back and enjoy the animated updates as he provides them. He’s a happier lad when he’s tuned into all things football and has a wealth of knowledge about the game and it’s current events that I love to hear about later. Heck, maybe I’ll start listening one day. So truly, thanks team Sport Social!

Maryland Mike 51After VAR review, Marley isn't completely awfulSo after listening to more podcasts, I've completely turned around on Marls. He's really picked things up and is often-like Reggie Jackson-the straw that stirs the drink. The Man City coverage is still sketchy at best but to be fair, this podcast is essential listening in order to stay up to date on all things EPL. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Ciarán the Everton FanAsked to review againWell I already reviewed back in December but Jim wanted more reviews so here I am. Great podcast, love the Twitter page, and it is a great part in my day to listen to it. Even if my team has been average!
-
campsdadClear, concise and informativeThis podcase is a great way to daily catch a review of recent professional football action, especially in the Premier League, and commentary on active stories and upcoming fixtures.
-
Maest110Can I give it 6 Stars?Great podcast with tons of insight and opinions from multiple perspectives. I love that everyone on the show roots for different teams including some in the lower leagues and provide a good balance between Non-biased and outright Homer statements. Can’t wait for it to be a daily show again.

ThisnicknsmeisalreadytakeJust what I neededThanks for this great podcast series - this is my favorite thing to listen to while running or riding my bike. I love the fan perspective y’all provide (from many different clubs) but also how you can reasonably discuss issues. I also appreciate that both sides of arguments are represented and sometimes one person will play sort of a devil’s advocate. I usually listen on Spotify but I downloaded this app just to leave a 5 star review for you.

Old guy music reviewDeserve 5 starsAs an American Manchester City fan I make it a daily habit to listen to every podcast. I listen to a few other EPL pods but clearly y’all’s is best. The distinction between rumor, opinion, and fact is clear. The commentary and comradely are a great combo. What I truly like best is the way this pod transmits English football culture. It really makes your show special. The passion, history, and the love of the game shines. Am I a fan or a supporter discussion the other day was well done. But as an American who isn’t going to any games (did travel 300 miles for a preseason against Spurs), can I be a supporter? I belong to a supporters club, albeit 100 miles away, and regularly watch with the group. I wear the team clothing, have 3 streaming services to watch Every game in all. My license plate is MCFC. Stay safe and well.

Joe KunceBest podcast around!I genuinely love this podcast. I listen daily. Not only do they give great game analysis, but they provide a fans perspective since they are all fans of various Premier League teams. I love the casual banter that is mixed into the podcast. Being from the US, the Premier League coverage is minimal and I can’t casually talk about the Premier League much with people. This podcast definitely helps fill that void. I look forward to your podcast every day. Thank you for all that you guys do. Joe K. (Arsenal and Croatia fan from Michigan)

Shakar AliQuality ContentI enjoy and appreciate the daily Premier League updates. I DO NOT enjoy or appreciate your unpopular opinions about pancakes. You can’t trashtalk pancakes and expect to get away with it. 4/5

FatherBiffCool drink of waterAbsolutely love these lads! I’m a priest in rural America which means a ton of time on the road for visits and services. This podcast totally cheers me up in between some rough moments. Give em a try and you’ll be hooked, like listening to mates at the pub. #COYB #GrandOldTeam Father Biff

Ezekiel_29Great Content to Stay Up on FootballI am a premier league fan from Phoenix, Arizona in the States and all sports news here never cover the premier league. Thanks guys for helping people enjoy the premier league regardless of where you are.
-
MancOnTourNice touchThe poem at the end of Tuesday’s show was classy. Well done all.
-
JerBearMSUMust SubscribeA great show for any EPL fan, especially as someone in America with less daily information available. Great personalities, amazing host and fun conversation. I enjoy it as a Wolves fan, even though like all EPL coverage it focuses primarily on the big 6 clubs only

yasmanian devilGood pod,BUT...Good pod when these guys are not being utter bellends.
-
SpursinWisconsinExcellent podcast!Great guys, who are knowledgeable, informed and sometimes full of it. Great entertainment. First thing I listen to every morning!

DinosaurThunderEnjoying the contentThanks for the great show each day! As others have stated below, it’s hard to consume PL news and updates stateside in an easy manner. The insights, banter and camaraderie amongst the contributors, makes for an enjoyable listen each day. Keep up the great work! PS - I find myself with an irrational lack of patience when a new episode is not ready when I wake up each morning. You have created a good problem in how fast you turn these out! Question time (well more of long drawn out thought) - Establishing my allegiance: I’m a (almost) life long stateside Portsmouth fan. Don’t ask me how, why or worry about my mental wellbeing. It’s been a fun 25 year rollercoaster of fandom thus far. Question I have - is Ole actually under performing as your recent episodes imply? I would like you all to set your allegiances aside and ignore his comments following matches (that will come with time). It seems to be the narrative pushed though all forms of media, but I don’t think he’s actually that far off. Could you use descriptive analysis to assess his performance this season? And what if he finishes top 4 with the squad he has and brings a cup home - would they really sack him? Some observations from my end - - has a number of injury problems with a paper thin squad. - the midfield is utter garbage without McTominay and Pogba. - most of the squad is out of their depth and other squads with more depth/player strength are performing much worse in the table. - I only see the likes of: James, Martial, Rashford, McTominay, Pogba, Fred, Greenwood, Williams, Maguire. Wan Bissaka, Lindelof, Henderson and Tuanzebe (and some of the kids in the academy) having the ability or growth potential to be at the club long term. - Oles recruitment has been good. - He has had moments of tactical brilliance, followed by moments of darkness. But I attribute the darkness, with a number of players he’s forward to play due to others having injury. Just wondering if slagging Ole off is the easy narrative to follow. Or if my perception is out of wack. Great stuff!

PasteneJGreat podcast! It’s so hard to find a solid Premier league podcast in the States, and I’ve finally found one! Such in-depth conversations, quite a few about VAR, but you can’t avoid the calamity that is VAR. Regardless, I really enjoy the daily uploads as it provides some good entertainment for my daily commute!
-
BasilSK8SQuality!Living in the States it’s hard to find Premier League coverage let alone quality coverage. Finding this podcast has been fantastic listening in on people who love premier league football as much as myself makes it that much better. Plus uploads every day. Thank you all continue delivering the best Premier League podcasts

GinormiconPhenomenal Broadcast!Gentlemen, my hat’s off to you. I’ve been following many football podcasts for a couple of years and by far, this is the best I’ve heard. You’re the Man City/Liverpool of broadcasts. Everyone else can only hope to get in the top 6. Your personalities jump out of my speakers. Thanks and keep up the great work. Huntsville, AL City Fan
