This is a good podcast that does a thorough job covering the Gators. Dave releases more episodes than most podcasts. The ones with Will Miles are the best. On his own, Dave tends to ramble on and repeat himself. They also don’t do a good job editing the episodes.

Thank you for the coverage, but I would appreciate the pace being a bit quicker. It often feels like Dave is filling time. And the sprinkle of MAGA energy on Dave’s other socials gives an off-putting alt-reality vibe I refuse to support.

Even when trying to say something positive; there will be negative innuendoes in the last year….I feel worse about being a Gator fan after lessening these days ….. you guys need to have a better positive impact on your audience ….. will has stats that somehow make gators look bad

It's so refreshing to hear about Gator news, sports, and insights without the drama that often accompanies it on social media and podcasts. Dave, Will, and their guests know their stuff and aren't there just to "stir the (proverbial) pot" but provide real, up to date, and accurate information for real Gator fans. The guests are great, and they always leave you wanting more. If you're a true Gator fan, this podcast is for you.

Hey I love this show Gator Dave! Y’all know your stuff about SEC football. But you might do well to leave the baseball analogies alone. When your partner Will likened Texas A&M unto the Red Sox he sounded ridiculous—or just old. Sure in the 20th Century the Red Sox we’re often good, but not great…runners-up, but seldom the champs. However, this is now the 21st Century and in THIS Century alone the Red Sox have 3 World Series Championships (‘04, ‘13, ‘18), which is more than the Yankees and every team except the SF Giants (3 also). Meanwhile, the last National Championship Texas A & M claims was 1939 and the last conference championship was in 1998. Wow! The comparison could not be further from accurate could it be? So Dave I’ll be listening for you to pull that apology from Will to all Red Sox fans. Hahaha! Your show is awesome! Will knows his Gator football and is an expert on college football IMO. He is so articulate and intelligent and easy to listen to. You bring the passion and humor. You’re a great combo!! But just watch those baseball analogies! —Blue Gator

Gators Breakdown is the best UF pod in the business. Dave does an excellent job bringing great content, guests, and interviews while remaining realistic in his assessments. You can tell Dave has a passion for Florida Football and loves his job. Also GB+ is a game changer. Dave is a composite 5⭐️

This is the best Gators podcast I have come across in years. David is well researched and balanced. Even when times are tough in Gatorland he comes through as calm and resourceful. I listen to everything he puts out and all very solid work.

Dave has worked hard to create a great podcast. Will Miles, however, is smug and condescending.

A bunch of pods are saying we hope AR15 starts and I agree that he likely will/should. I was at the game and waited to cheer on the team afterwards by the buses. EJ5 came out from locker room and looked like he had been crying/very upset/sad. I am not saying this to be mean to him, love EJ, but I think that could be telling on his future as the starter. This podcast is run by an old school dinosaur football mind who has not caught up with the modern era of football yet. He is outdated and misinformed about strategies the team is utilising and things the team should not be implementing. Also there is no substance or research done before every podcast and he is simply shooting from the hip.

As a Gators fan I really appreciate the effort that Dave puts into getting info out to the fans. Always enjoy Will’s analysis as well. Keep up the good work. Go Gators!!!

Also good episodes with lots of information. Great guests that also bring good insights, facts, and stats. Will do pop up shows when news breaks because as Dave says “there’s never a dull moment in Gator Nation”

These guys lose objectivity too often, likely because they interact with the reactive portion of the fanbase on Twitter. Makes it hard to take them seriously when they’re so heavily influenced by recency bias.

Episodes have gotten better and more entertaining each time. Will Miles always brings a great analytical and intellectual mind to the program as well along with David Waters. Every now and then they have special guests who join in. But even with no guests, these guys always knock it out of the park for gator fans. Biggest thing I like about the podcast is it really engages your mind on the football team. You may think one thing about the team, but David and Will can also present you with numbers that might make you think differently by the end of the episode. Always a great show every pod. Never a dull moment in gator nation, but also never a dull moment when listening to this pod. Entertained from start to finish every time! Keep doing your thing guys and never stop doing this pod!

While I mainly watch the live YouTube version, I couldn’t recommend this podcast enough. Both David and Will really headline the show with great stats and insight. It’s also a plus that David is part of the Coaches press conferences so he’s able to ask questions directly to Coach Mullen and even the players. Will does a phenomenal job at breaking down the key metrics for team success and if you haven’t checked out his website readandreaction.com , you really need to.

Met Dave awkwardly at a rock show in Jacksonville once haha.. a super nice guy with a great unbiased, well educated opinion of what’s going on with Gator football. I’ve followed him on twitter and listened to his podcast since the start. Best place for recruiting and team breakdown on the market.

Dave has built a monster with this podcast. The pod provides great analysis and should be a must-listen for every Gator fan. Be warned though. Will Miles’ takes are terrible. Can’t blame him though. He does the best he can.

As someone who listens to most of the Gator podcast, this one is consistently great. Dave is a fantastic host and Will's statistical analysis provides invaluable insight into the games, recruiting and all aspects of Gator sports. Highly recomended to all Gator fans!

It was not targeting. The rule states that the offensive player has to be defenseless. In this case Pierce was not defenseless. He was a runner who lowered his helmet when he went thru the hole.

Dave and “The Will’s” consistently bring great analysis. Dave sometimes brings on guests who cover that week’s opponents, which offers a good balance as well. As fans, we sometimes lose perspective - for better and for worse - and Gators Breakdown always provides a level-headed look at the program as a whole, recruiting and, of course, a breakdown of each week’s game (preview and review). It makes me a more intelligent fan, and is my favorite Gators podcast. Because I live in Tennessee, I feel like it’s my connection to what’s happening in The Ville. Grateful for Gator Dave and the team!
