Podcast is good. Bad wolves are terrible.

I’ve been listening on and off for a while now and love hearing guests from the nj hardcore scene as well as guests from current bands, but he has one of the worst monologues I ever heard. It’s kind of like someone who never watched football give a take on the Super Bowl. When he talks about politics it’s cringeworthy. He seems to sneak in race whenever he can. It’s obvious he doesn’t do any sort of homework, just reads what’s on his Twitter feed and bases his opinion off of that. When he isn’t talking about politics or pop culture he goes into mental health and how he suffers from anxiety and depression. It’s kind of strange acting like a know it all and judgemental to a poor me kind of flow. I’ll give it two stars for having some killer guests like ant from etown and fat pat from ffaa. The best music podcasts out there that have the most followers talk just about the music and only the music. If people listen to podcasts to escape the news or want to get a really engaging experience, I suggest skipping this podcast.

Doc does some of the best interviews with amazing people! There's music he plays that turns you on to bands you may never have listened to before! I've became a huge fan of a couple of bands that have sponsored this show {Royalty Kult} He keeps it real while sharing life experiences, making this podcast one that hits home, makes you think, and is hands down one of the best music related podcasts I've ever heard! If you're reading this, you should go listen to what he has to say!! You won't regret it!!

Doc has great guests and is a super cool dude but talks WAY too much. Let the guests talk. I don’t even disagree with his opinions, but please stop talking over guests. Gets awkward.

Doc, when the hell are you going to get Jesse Leach or anyone from Killswitch on the podcast? Jesse would be the perfect guest on your show, you know it and I know it.

I love getting so many different perspectives and stories from all over the industry. Such a good podcast.

This podcast has some awesome stories! Selling tickets, traveling the states, meeting locals and playing those underground shows.... Its cool to hear about bts back in the days and how hard y’all work.

love listening to this show while at work and now at home in the new era of the global fallout resistance renaissance, learn a whole lot of stuff from this show about people in kool bands that are in different bands crazy stories from bands from my teenage years and band drama that you wouldn’t hear anywhere else is sometimes kind of funny and stuff so defiantly check it out or the umbrella man will find you

Doc is a great interviewer and has good conversations. Very funny and has great guests. I listen to his content on long drives or at work and it makes the time fly by. Thanks for a great podcast.

The title is kinda goofy but it’s true. I started listening because I grew up on God Forbid and others like them. I kept listening because Doc’s level-headed thoughts about things he doesn’t agree with are really interesting. Now, I find myself using some of the same methods in my own life and being more empathetic. It truly is a great podcast.

Doc is far beyond the average musician. Super hard working, focused, and personable. His insight is right on and this podcast is extremely informative to those interested in the struggles of the music industry.

Less BS more conversation. Unlike some of the others. Plus these are more personal.

Doc in 2020! He’s got my vote! His interviews are full of intelligent statements and he gets the most out of his guests. He is candid and unlike most of America he backs up his statements with facts...all in all a great listen! Keep up the great work Doc!

I love this show and hearing all these backstories. Really loved the OJ and Robb Flynn episodes. I also find these shows inspiring me to keep up with my music career and be successful. Keep it going!

Love the show. My only complaint is it mainly focuses on underground or major INDIE label employees when they do that type of ‘ex-man’ episodes. I would love to see a few people who were a little higher up than just the hardcore food chain! But I would also love to hear some more mid 90’s metalcore guests along with larger acts and artists that ended up being ‘ex-men’ Probably one of my fav podcasts regardless

Not only is Doc Coyle a great guitarist, he’s totally hilarious and very intelligent. I love this podcast and look forward to every episode.

Very original, great questions and interesting dialogues. My suggestion for a guest is Bryan Scott of The Union Underground, Cult to Follow and Into The Fire.

Doc is an excellent interviewer. The Anthony Martini episode was one of the best. Great podcast.

Since Doc is a respected professional in the industry and has a working relationship with most of these musicians, he gets to touch topics and ask questions that other interviewers wouldn't think of or wouldn't have the same perspective as someone who had actually been in bands or lived life on the road. It doesn't just seem like a promo or advertisement from the band's label and makes me feel closer to bands in the metal scene. Doc is a deep thinker and will expand upon ideas or topics that are discussed in the show and those discussions are often gifts. As a fellow musician, this podcast really is for us. I sincerely hope he keeps this show going for years and gets to start interviewing bands and musicians in other scenes as well. He's that good.

I used to see and hangout with Doc in Baltimore,DC and Northern Virginia (Springfield) he was always a smart well spoken guy who was always easy to get along with. So seeing as how a lot of his guest are past tour mates of his, it’s easy for him to get great conversations and stories with a lot of these guest who happen to be musicians from bands I used to listen to from band who have now broken up. Great podcast if you are into hearing the brutal truth about how much hard work the musicians have to put in on the road and to play a good show.

Doc, love the podcast. I really appreciate your grasp on current events and ensuring that you bring that into your episodes. I was also really stoked to see that you gave money to Caleb Scofield’s family as I did. Dude, could you do something with one of the VOD guys? I listen here and there, depending on the guest but I just listened to the Brian Fair episode most recently. That’s a great dude and I could’ve listened for 2 more hours. I also checked out the Ken Susi and Brandan Schieppati episodes. You’re podcast is awesome Doc! Keep it up!

I had the good fortune of meeting Doc when he was on tour with Meytal, so I was curious to hear what he'd have to say on a regular podcast. He didn't disappoint. As an example, take a listen to his recent interview with Eric German...great insight into the music industry.

I whole heartedly enjoy this podcast series. Lots of memories from a fan perspective during this era. This podcast gives another view on the life of the musicians that brought us heavy music.....even discovered a couple bands that I have ignored for years. The Pat Sheridan episode made me a fan of Fit For an Autopsy.

This is a great podcast. Doc is authentic, funny, and seems to have an appreciation for all types of music. He’s not afraid to ask his guests tough questions and engages in thought-provoking conversation. I’m always looking forward to new episodes, regardless of whether I’m familiar with his guest.

As my best friend once said to me: “never trust someone in the music business who didn’t try to start a band first.” Doc has walked the walk as a real musician, a hard working go-getter, and a likable and personable guy, which makes him well suited to these conversations with great guests, most of whom he knows from real world experience on the road. Essential.

This podcast is great, Doc is great, any true metalhead needs to subscribe. Good stuff.
