laalawowoAmazing podcastFunny, irreverent, cheeky, informative: there aren’t enough adjectives to adequately describe these episodes but the guys have really invigorated my passion to discover Spanish wines and made me a customer of their shop. Great job Roque and Luke!

HermosabritdadJamie Oliver of wine meets cool Spanish mate for unpretentious yet set legit Vino education.Stumbled across this while studying for the US based Spanish Wine scholar qualification. (Which is almost as geeky as Luke, but a lot less interesting, and certainly less entertaining.) In fact listening to these two guys was about the only thing that kept me smiling through the Spanish Wine Scholar studying period! Luke is for Spanish wine what Jamie Oliver once was for British food (a long time ago). As in very well versed, totally onto it, but also at last completely devoid of pomposity. And Roque makes sure Luke stays suitably un-pomposityish! Truth be told: without Roque Luke would risk collapsing into the usual wine-expert ridiculousness! Thank You Roque for saving him! SUMMARY: If you want to really learn about Spanish wine - all 60 + DO and 40+ VT . Listen to this podcast and save the money you might have spent on the Spanish Wine Guild Course! Keep it up boys: So to speak!

RachaelMoshedPotatoesInformative and EntertainingI give this podcast 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. Ive listened to about forty episodes now. It is most often informative - I learn about the different DOs of Spain and also gather tidbits of travel advice and history for the many regions covered also. Sometimes the content is far too elementary (eg silly online quizzes) and I think the makers underestimate their listeners. Good for Luke and Roque overall, though, for so steadily producing a quality podcast. On an entertainment level, my favorite parts are when you can hear Roque's dogs snoring, and when Roque doesnt listen to Luke and then asks a question that Luke has just answered moments before. But truly, the hosts enjoy each others' company and the listeners benefit.

Lynn RichFunny & InformativeLIQUID LEARNING: Luke & Roque have great podcast chemistry, albeit charmingly caustic at times. It is a fantastic combination to learn, and laugh while doing it. They have helped with my Spanish pronunciation of regions and wines and, yes, their rants and antics make me laugh out loud at times. I am super senitive to cheap humor. These guys are authentic, the real deal. Please keep going boys!

OctoberEmbersCheers! The perfect podcast for wine-lovers of all levels! If you want to learn about wine & Spanish culture, while hanging out with a couple of hilarious hosts and sharing a bottle of unique wine, this is the podcast for you. Luke & Roque make wine very approachable and explore the subject at many different angles. They are always happy to explore listener questions, and have plenty of fun along the way. What's more, they publish articles that go further in depth about interesting topics, and even host occasional wine gatherings in Madrid for their listeners! Keep up the good work fellas!
