The pretzel logic used to justify censorship is also alarming and can’t really be understood unless you accept you’re not capable of deciding for yourself what to believe, and that there is only one view on issues. That view is, of course, whatever the censors decide that day.

The male news reader’s tortured diction and comical mispronunciation of nearly every proper noun are that of either an AI with a paltry learning dataset or a well-intentioned human who was never read-to as a child and who’s found a way to avoid consuming any audio or video news.
