Ryan makes his trivia nights in person fun and entertaining, and he has kept us entertained driving through Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Definitely worth a listen and if you can catch him in person, even more worthwhile.

Great show! Love binging episodes on long car rides with my mom. Helps pass the time and is always a go-to podcast for us, especially the confidence rounds which are so fun. Doesn’t hurt that there are endless episodes to keep us going! We ordered a custom episode for a friend’s birthday and he thought it was just the coolest, would highly recommend that for a gift!

How could anyone not 5 star this podcast. Short and sweet and Buds is always on point! Do wish he would slow down when he goes over the answers to give a bit more time to try to come up with an answer.

Love listening to Trivia with Budds! Ryan has Midwestern roots and a wide range of life experiences that show up in the daily trivia games. Often listen and hear a topic a friend or family member would enjoy so I share with them. Easy and fun to listen to because the host is so relatable.

Found Budds during Covid and I have finally caught up and listened to all 1600+ episodes. Quick episodes have been the perfect interlude between other shows in my podcast queue. Thanks for the entertainment over the past few years.

It’s a great “quick bite” of trivia!

Listening in order to all the episodes, love the episodes with the family, whether it’s the wife (roadhouse and dirty dancing episode, aka Patrick swayse movies), the inclusion of Tommy and Annabelle, or the other family members, (Cap episode with the wife and mother-in-law) makes Ryan relatable and like I have a friend in my ear all day at work. Keep up the podcasts and the live trivia shows.

I listen to the show twice a day. Once in the car in podcast and then when I get home in YouTube. The second round is to share my score and answer the Scatagories questions. Ryan does a great job keeping the episode short and keeping me engaged. He and his “staff” do a great job finding both simple and esoteric questions toLiterally keep us guessing

As a librarian in Kentucky, I enjoy these fast trivia rounds testing my brain. Not to mention the host loves wrestling especially with awesome macho man caricature on the main screen. Highly recommend the podcast for anyone and all who want to take a break from school and/or work to have some down home country cooking trivia...deep fried!! This is my husband and my go to podcast trivia for road trips or even a short trip to the grocery store. Ryan is a wonderful host. The topics are always fun and different. I definitely recommend this podcast for any trivia nerds like myself.

One of your biggest fans introduced me to this podcast and if he isn’t playing the archives during a car ride, I find myself catching up on all things trivia when I’m in planes, cars, and automobiles! A great podcast to share.

If you refer to yourself as a fan of Monty Python, and that you like the film “MP and the Holy Grail” you should know The Knights who say Ni “ is not pronounced “Nye “ but “Knee”. So many of these episodes feature errors in pronunciation. There are also an over abundance of statements like “I think, that’s one of them” Don’t guess, facts are really fun when they are accurate. And then today’s blunder, saying that Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Magic Johnson won 5 NBA titles beginning in 1975. Why is that a blunder you ask? Well in 1975, Magic was attending Lansing Everett HIGH SCHOOL, that’s why.

I like the daily frequency and the fast paced questions and answers. Sometimes, I get very few correct answers, but hopefully I am learning something.

Wasn’t too bad, in the early days, not really great trivia, but fairly engaging and entertaining. His current trend of selling trivia games for people’s birthdays or anniversaries… wow! Just really bad and boring trivia. (I get you need to make a living, but the quality of the content has gone down considerably) If you want to know what pushed me over the edge, it was the country of Zombiea. You know where Angel Falls is located Zombiea. I swear do some fact checking (you wouldn’t think you’d have to suggest that to a trivia show but here we are) Check how to pronounce things, yes it makes a difference, oh, and it’s sort of inherent in the job. Anyway I’m unfollowing for now. I find it unlistenable.

My husband and I started our relationship years ago long distance so I’d listen to the show on the 6 hour trips to see him! Then he started listening, and now we listen on every road trip and even just doing chores around the house! Great energy, fun topics, nice levels of difficulty, absolutely awesome :)

Discovered this trivia podcast on an 8 hour drive and love it! Short and don’t have to listen to people talk about every question while giving the answers. Will become a regular road trip listen.

I found this podcast browsing through trivia podcasts and it very quickly became one of my favorites! I have a short commute to work and also listen when doing chores so being able to do them quickly and pick a variety of topics is awesome! Then I got my husband into listening and now it’s our go-to road trip trivia podcast where we compete against each other. Ryan makes it fun and always interesting questions and topics. I actually was listening to an episode last night while my husband wasn’t home and when he got home and heard Ryan’s voice he came running into the room I was in and says “I can’t believe you’re listening to Trivia with Buddy without me! It better be a topic I don’t know much about!” So it’s easily a household favorite now and we tell our friends about it too! Thanks for doing this, Ryan!

I listen to and support quite a few trivia podcasts, including this one, but this is always the first one I recommend to friends. Ryan hosts an extremely accessible and straightforward podcast. There is zero pretense or stuffiness and there is no learning curve required. His generosity is unparalleled, even if you’re some kind of monster that doesn’t have space in your house for a signed Sharknado photo, and he is genuinely invested into his craft and his audience. Comments about mispronunciations and minimal flavor text are valid, but it’s a bit like criticizing the rain because it’s wet. Enjoy the entertainment for what it is and appreciate this podcast for what it is: a friend in your ear treating you to a much-needed distraction for your brain. Six stars.

When we are on a road trip we will always burn through some episodes of Budds, and they never fail to entertain. The bite sized episodes are just right when you want to pass a little time.

After hearing Ryan on Brian Breaker‘s you know it’s fake right I had to check out his show I love trivia he’s extremely funny I enjoy the show greatly and I am binge watching or listening I guess each and every night at work keep up the amazing work
