    The audio quality is horrible
Guys please figure out your audio issues, I’m surprised you would even think it’s acceptable. Very disappointing!

    Awful mics
The main guy has so much background noise and static, almost worse than his takes

    Hit or Miss
The show has its moments when it's good and moments when it's bad. Although I do enjoy the geeking out of pop culture it happens a little too much. There's times where Jeff talk and uses slang, I'm not sure which age group he is trying to satisfy. I do enjoy some of the guests he has but at times I feel like he's afraid to disagree with him. On game days, he talks for three minutes about the game and moves onto the next thing. overall could use some improvement and better quality as well

    Locked On Whining
I get preseason is pretty anemic when it comes to big talking points without sounding repetitive after one has already been covered. Once the season begins is when the podcast gets juicy. But, if we’re gonna listen to the show during the offseason, we’re pretty avid bb fans and get (I hope) the team isn’t gonna win 50 games right outta the shoot bc Wemby is here. Let’s at least skip the Huxtable-family lessons like “we all just have to be patient with this young team, “ & “you remember what it was like being a teenager; you had to go through a lot to get to where you are now.” Maybe a more focused approach that discusses the team’s needs, strengths, weaknesses, potential, etc. for those of us who want to hear about the bb side of things in SAS land vs the process of personally accepting young talent. You’re either a fan or you’re not. If you’re not then you’re not listening to the SAS-oriented podcast. I read a lot of articles about player news, proposed trade packages, etc. the national media will never cover. I wish we could include a lot more info about that stuff. Maybe a co-host with some more interest in that area? Go Spurs Go!

    Frustratingly Boring
You would think with the Spurs winning the lottery, this podcast would offer more insight and analysis. Sadly, that’s not the case. Look elsewhere.

    Updates are key
There are other podcasts out there for the spurs but I’m appreciated of Jeff’s daily updates and his tendency to stay relevant to the spurs on all episodes. We’re all wanting a better time and wish sometimes he’d be more optimistic; however, he keeps his info and data accurate and relevant to my favorite NBA team.

Looking for a good Daily Spurs update?
Look elsewhere. This is bad. Host talks about random stuff for half the show (Star Wars, superheroes) and interrupts (sometimes knowledgeable) guests with lame banter. Bad show.

    Portland, Spurs Preview
Don’t understand why a preview of today’s game doesn’t get attention until the last 7mins. Primo info good btw

    Horrible hosts and guests
Sorry to say this but Jeff Garcia is just aweful. He and his guess are typical haters who always want to see the cup half empty and bash on players. Moreover, he regularly records episodes two/three days before they air. What is the point of a daily show if the show doesn’t even cover the game that was played yesterday?

    Great show but....
You guys know this team REALLY well, you need to stop acting so devastated or surprised when this Spurs team loses. Winning 38 games and being a 10 seed would be BY FAR the worst thing that could happen. Losing 55+ games and getting a top 5 pick is essential to getting out of this horrible “in between contending and rebuild” the Spurs have been in since the Kawhi trade. We should obviously cheer on our favorite team, but we should also (in a way) celebrate every loss! We NNNEEEEDDDD I Game changing generational talent if the Spurs are ever going to sniff an NBA championship again. This start is EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED! I sincerely hope this continues for the rest of the season and they land a top pick. If they start winning and find themselves in that disgusting “play in” scenario again, THEN it’s time to panic and be devastated!!!

    This could be much better
First off the sound quality is trash and at this point is wrong to us as fans to have to do that. I listen to 2 other locked on podcasts and their sound quality is so much better. I feel that Jeff is over-reliant on guest speakers and can’t really carry the show by himself. Talks in circles and at times it feels like he’s just "winging it." I know he’s trying and I’m happy there’s a daily podcast for my favorite team, but sometimes I can’t bear to make it through an episode. If the other podcasts on the same network can do better so can Jeff, and he should figure it out or someone else should for him.

    Low quality audio and analysis
Listened to Locked on Jazz/Mavs for the playoffs and the difference is enormous which is why these guys never get a spot on Locked on NBA main show
  • Zombiezook
    Ugh
Garcia and Yeager together are unbearable. Garcia usually falls back on “play better” when it comes to analysis. Yeager has verbal abilities best suited for print. Got some room to grow here for sure.

    Go Spurs Go
Jeff, gonna be a touch season for you all? I’m sure you’ll keep it all in the proper perspective

    Go spurs go!
Jeff always a good listen! I have a trade idea you should ponder and discuss. Spurs receive: number 6 pick (ATL) and number 2 pick from the warriors. Andrew Wiggins Atlanta hawks : D. DeRozan 41st pick via spurs Warriors : L. Aldridge , C. Metu Cam Reddish 11th pick via spurs Maybe have to add players or player to Atlanta to make money work but I’m sure it’s close.

    Boring fanboydom
Every Spur is awesome and the best. Everything the Spurs do is awesome and amazing. No critical thought or insight. I just can’t listen anymore.
  • Drehday
    Appreciate the content but...
I am glad to have a “daily” Spurs podcast, but the show has a couple of off putting qualities. Some guests...are not the best on a mic. The host often contradicts himself or repeats himself.
  • 1balEro3
    ok.
the podcast information wise is good, but it can be hard to hear and i still can’t get my head around how a majority of the sound quality of the guest is so much better than jeff’s. needs some work on sound quality
  • Abel
    Great podcast
Love this podcast! Jeff Garcia knows his Spurs knowledge.

    Needs New Host
Host repeats himself a lot. Host says the obvious. Hosts fixates on heresay and negativity. In the spirit of the host, host repeats himself a lot.
  • B.Long$
    Good podcast BUT!
    The sound quality is horrible
  • Steve the Spurs Fan
    Sound Quality and Content
Lots of repetitive information and generalized comments, not much insight from a host who has covered the team for years. Comments going back years about audio quality and little done to fix it.
  • robotvseobots
    Oh no spurs oh no
    1) the sounds quality is horrible 2) Joe Garcia is not a good guest / co host
  • Swedxan
    Horrible
Lacks insight and knowledge basketball that doesn’t seem regurgitated. The production level is also terrible for someone who is I think somewhat associated with a TV station and should have access to make it a more professional production. The host is also dry and really doesn’t offer any personality or voice inflection.
  • Texasisfunny
    Horrible
The host seems nice but every episode is overly negative. Audio is awfully mixed.
  • WillJoWad
    I appreciate Jeff’s enthusiasm, but...
This podcast could and should be so much better. The host rarely has original takes or deep insight into the team’s play. Speaks in way too many generalizations. Repeats himself. Hardly any use of analytics or even box score statistics to evaluate individual and team performance. As an interviewer, he asks questions but rarely challenges views he disagrees with or engages the guest. I often get much more out of other locked on podcasts hosts when the spurs play their team. And it seems like most reviewers have noted the poor audio quality. I hate to criticize someone’s hard work in this way, but Spurs fans deserve better

    Merry Christmas and all that!
    Showing some love.

Good content but can do better
Excellent information, knowledgeable host/ guest but needs to upgrade equipment. It is hard sometimes to understand what they are talking about bec of the static. The guest are hit and miss as there are episodes where 1 of the guest was really good in breaking down the game and the team dynamics but at other times, I can barely understand the discussion bec the guest talk too fast. I am not a podcaster but I do listen to other podcast I can see that this team put a lot of effort into their production but there is room to grow on how to be engaging and less mechanical in the presentation. There is plenty to love about the podcast. I do love the daily updates and the topic, talking about my favorite team. They are analytical and not fanatical in there assessment. And if they can make the tweaks this would be a great podcast.

    ***Great Concept Terrible Execution***
Guys I don’t mean to bash I love this podcast but wow guys you literally are pushing people away with the sound quality this is 2018 and I just can’t continue to listen like this without getting frustrated with the audio, I’m sorry but this is why I’m not listening no more best of luck going forward! If y’all fix this you could all be golden!
  • SetItGood
    Would give 5 stars but...
With Spurs been losing this season both of these podcasters have been so negative lately and been hard to listen to. Truth hurts but pls do not treat all your listeners stupid "clinging to false hopes" this season. Lets celebrate our victories and console each other during defeats... A true Spurs fan bleeds silver and black (whatever happens) ;)

    Consistently Good
Much like the team he covers, Jeff Garcia is consistently effective at delivering quality content and has been over the years. Also, special thanks to Jeff for appearing on our NBA interview podcast, On the NBA Beat, this past January to discuss these Spurs. On this Thanksgiving holiday, we're grateful for tremendous guests like Jeff. Keep winning. It's never getting old.

Best goddam podcast I've heard in my life
Shout out to Jeff always keeping me informed on all things silver and black.
  • Jercy Joe
    Guest
I enjoy the episodes when Conner is the guest. The guy knows what he's talking about and makes me want to listen to more episodes
  • Somekindaway
Spurs have to have someone better
This man is foolish, half the time his takes on the Spurs are misguided. The Spurs are interesting, but this guy just isn't. I could do a better job sheesh.
  • Padres Win
    Awesome, but...
I appreciate Jeff's dedication to doing this podcast everyday. The content is great. The guests are great. Jeff is great. But.....the audio is anti-great. The intros/outros can be WAY louder than the the body of the podcast which blew away my ears one day. The sound quality of some of the guests phoning in is so poor it's difficult to understand what they are saying. One episode had some much background noise it was unlistenable.
  • Laynej3
    Constantly repeating himself
I was really looking forward to the Locked on Spurs, and Jeff could be really good. But I feel like he does a 30 min show with 15 min of content. He just says the same thing over and over in different ways. Other than that, its great.
  • Texasgmr
    Always Great
Try to find a podcasts that is not afraid to say the wrong things about their respective teams they are covering. Jeff Garcia does a phenomenal job in bringing Spura fans up to date on the Silver and Black!
