overwhelmed105Still Great Five Years LaterI found the website and PLS podcast back in 2019 as a first time mom. I welcomed a surprise second just 14 months later, and the guidance from this podcast made a really chaotic time a heck of a lot easier. I truly believe it’s one of the reasons my girls are such great sleepers who ASK for their one remaining nap even at 3 and 4 years old. They are the cleverest little people and I think most of that is due to good sleep habits. Fast forward to January 2024 when my third child was born. He’s already on his way to great sleep habits, but I was struggling with daytime sleep. Thankfully I remembered the name of this podcast so I could refresh my memory on how long my last little baby should be awake between naps. Today is already one of the best nap days ever and I can finally get the laundry folded! Thanks so much to these ladies and the wisdom that they continue to bestow on sleep deprived parents.❤️

clementine25Need to read the book firstI found this podcast after reading the book (of the same name). I think reading the book essential to understand the frameworks and methods they recommend, especially since the podcast episodes don’t seem to discuss them in detail. The podcast is a great and interesting supplement to the book.

aybaylay10Do not recommendMy number one concern is their endorsement of allowing an infant to sleep in a swing and bedsharing. Both of which are proven to be unsafe. They also talk over and over again about the importance of a baby falling asleep independently but never talk about how to accomplish that. This ended up being a huge waste of time.

Guernsey TFascinatingThis is very helpful especially to those of us who love learning and research! And what better topic than baby’s and sleep which is going to affect mama’s lives so much!
-
Bergaufbremser11PoorThe ratio of actual helpful information compared to women chatting and laughing with each other makes this an utter waste of time.

Helped save my sanity! So helpful!Great podcast! I started listening to this podcast when I was nursing my newborn for what felt like endless hours at night. He's 3 months now and it has helped us with starting a good sleep training program plus all sorts of other great tips. Also, HUGE fan of the swing!

Aaron c22Unhelpful and exhaustingListened to the episode on Daycare Napping. Could not be less helpful, literally just two women talking about their nightmare experiences with. I actual guidance or advice. There are far better parenting podcasts out there. Besides being useless, it’s simply completely lacking entertainment.

TBallzzA MUST for baby sleep advice!!Love listening to this podcast because it helped me figure out my baby’s sleep schedule, traveling with my baby, and more in general about how to help my little one (and myself!) with sleeping!

Sss12345xyzMore helpful than a sleep bookI never was into podcasts until PLS came along. With a new baby, it's pretty much impossible to sit down and read a book, but being able to listen to this podcast has really helped me get my baby sleeping well. I highly recommend it!

AmiJoieA must for sleep deprived parentsAs a parent to twins, I am all too familiar to sleep depreiavtaion. It was really starting to drive me crazy until I stumbled across the Precious Little Sleep blog at 2am one night desperate to get my kids to sleep. It was the first time that I felt like things were going to get better. The blog and the podcast offer great useful tools that every parent needs. I'm a changed person because of it and reccomend the blog and podcast to all new parents!

TootilyHelpful and fun!I'm thankfully much less desperate for sleep than I was when I first started listening to this podcast and reading the website. I so appreciate the hosts sense of humor. I feel so much less shame and much more in control of my little guys sleep challenges. I have to admit - I'm still terrified of daylights savings time! Ready to power through in a week.

KimothyschmaGreat PodcastFantastic, practical advice that works 100%. Alexis' advice got my baby to sleep when nothing else works. I wish this podcast had been available 2 years ago, and I will be brushing up big time now that #2 is almost here.

Nellyjo77These Ladies know what they are talkin' aboutThis is a very enjoyable podcast to listen to if you are seeking advice on how to help your baby sleep but you are too tired to read the articles on their website. The advice is solid and works. The ladies are funny and straightshooters with their knowledge and experience with baby sleep. I used the swing method with both my kids and I'm thankful that they can both put themselves to sleep. I listen to the podcast even though the topics discussed don't apply to my children's sleep situation. I like being up to speed on the current sleep discussions, because regressions happen.
-

-
LydiadnTHE resource to survive baby sleepI mean it. Alexis' blog and online community saved my bacon when I was in the throes of postpartum delirium and sleep-deprivation. And who has time to read dense books when you're that exhausted? This podcast is perfect, and fun to listen to as well!

TipperrIt's sleepy in hereBack when my son was 4 weeks old and I anxiously cried while simultaneously bouncing him on an exercise ball and texting all my mommy friends asking for sleep advice, one smart and trusted mommy friend wrote: "Precious Little Sleep" and that's pretty much that! Ever since that day I have been religiously following the blog, reading all the comments, spending hours on the FB group, and now happily listening to the podcast in between waketimes ;) The honesty and humor are so refreshing and I can't say how grateful I am to the ladies for doing all the heavy lifting for us, sifting through research, books, and sharing their experience with those of us, who are struggling to help our babies sleep. This podcast is a must for new parents!
-
Mallory O'BryantAll Parents Should Give this a Listen!Oh how I wish this podcast existed before my daughter arrived. After reading a LOT of advice about babies' sleep, PLS came along and made sense of it all. And in the early days of parenthood, this podcast would have been so helpful when I just couldn't read anymore. Keep it up, ladies!
-
AlextheAlex12Research Based & Hilarious! The podcasts are so, so great! They are extremely research based and so I feel as though I'm getting really important science based information. Additionally, they are funny--obviously! I also love the random children making noises in the background-- it makes them very relatable! I want you to have more podcasts so that I can listen to them all the time, and I want you to do podcasts on everything related to motherhood! Thank you so much for providing the podcasts. Don't stop!
-
