TJ hajshcjjdA great golf podcastLike many, I wandered over after hearing about this through Chasing Scratch. Two regular joes OBSESSED with golf, not just improving their own personal games but with the happenings of the PGA as well. Having never followed golf it has been a fun ride hearing these two choose favorites to win (YaBoy!) and listening to how Majors and Tournaments play out. Starting from the beginning (I’m up to ep.50-ish) you hear of current stars starting to hit the radar, the hype of Tigers return, and these two guys own personal development in the game. Pepper in some great interviews and quirky factoids from Stumptown, this has been a great podcast to follow. Looking forward to marathoning the rest!

Jake.RosiekNew listener, referred from Chasing ScratchI started listening AFTER starting and finishing Chasing Scratch and while I’m only in the 2016 episodes, I like it. Looking forward to the next few weeks and listening and learning!

Tcurl1418New ListenerNew listener here. Just started listening about 2 weeks ago. Started at the beginning and I’m on episode 61 already. I’ve listened to Chasing Scratch for awhile and heard them talk about this one multiple times. When they were heading to the Antle I figured it was time to learn about this pod. So happy I did. Love listening to Brian and Tyler.

M LimbacherHJ4LLove these podcasts so much. Started listening around episode 100 and have almost completed my 2nd circumnavigation around the Hosel Jockey Podcast history. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this podcast!!
-
RussellBShifletNew to podHeard about this pod through Chasing Scratch and love it. Quickly found out I am a Hosel Jockey. Working through all episodes from 2016 to current. Keep up the great work guys. Excited to be a member!

BuckeyenavyReal enjoyable Golf talkReminds me of my friends and I talking life and golf. It took me 5 weeks to get caught up and really enjoy the dialog. I heard of Podcast from Chasing Scratch Podcast. Now that I’m caught up on both, it is nice to see you have become good friends. Keep it up, I look forward to the next episodes
-
SchekirkeEnjoyable golf talkEnjoy listening to real guys talking real golf. I can rarely relate to the pros, but I can definitely relate to Bryan and Tyler’s golf games. Always good for a few laughs. The member guest episodes, especially last years are memorable

@TwitterlessKaleOnly podcast I don’t listen to on x1.5 speedAs the name suggests, this is the only podcast I currently listen to at normal speed. And that is because I want to make the pod last as long as possible, it’s that much much. The community they have put together is great and very welcoming, and always has room for more. These two provide great content and I feel like I’m playing golf with them. Can’t wait for the “Listener Cup” so the online friends can become real friends. - Roy McAvoy

ReviewerPlusGreat ConversationA nice mix of tour talk and their own golf games. I don’t have the time or money to golf much anymore so I play vicariously through you guys. Shoutout to Chasing Scratch podcast for the recommendation.
-
Huckmania85% sure this is my favorite golf podcastI’m 100% sure I’m still not over how the member/guest these two played in ended (episodes 80 and 81). Subscribe and enjoy.
-
mddo5For the Grint Hat!!! (But seriously...)Great talks - meaty but approachable, with notes of an iron finish in the nose... just like a fine wine, as it were. Just subscribe!
-
ChampskierEpisode 104 hypothetically’s were great!Really enjoyed the hypothetical idea about playing the Masters with 10 extra shots. My buddy says there is no chance in ____ that I could win the Masters but I think and would love the opportunity to try that!!! Even if I embarrassed myself. Scratch Scratch and Waggle Golf Podcast

geauxlsu305FunGreat duo that makes this frustrating and sometimes boaring topic fun. They have a very different spin on things and its very refereshing. Support them, its a goof listen

Mikey 7-3The Best Golf PodcastVery entertaining. Never boring. Never thought I would enjoy listening to two guys talk about golf but I look forward to listening every week.
-
Mase Case 47Love these guys!I just recently started listening to the Hosel Jockeys based off a recommendation on the /r/golf subreddit. I really enjoy the laid back conversations between Bryan and Tyler. It feels like conversations I would have with my own buddies. I especially enjoy hearing the details of Bryan's journey to improve his game. There are many situations and emotions that he talks about that every golfer can relate to. Keep up the great work! Edit: I also think Bryan should buy a SkyTrak.
-
Gregg hofgBest golf podcastI've listened to a few golf podcasts and this one is the best hands down. Solely, because they don't take golf uber seriously and take a pretty relaxed approach about it. They talk about their golf games & the PGA Tour. They both balance out well. Tyler and Bryan are both awesome hosts. Tyler's the more relaxed, chill one and Bryan's the goofier hyper one. Love these guys.
-
bcampbell84This was a good find.I've sifted through various golf podcasts over the last few months. I came accross this one a few weeks ago, and I have really enjoyed it so far. Just two normal guys talking about golf like I would with my friends. Also, if you like this podcast, you may enjoy ShackHouse as well.
-
alexmh324Enjoyable 85% of the TimeTwo amateur golfers discuss the PGA Tour, Ya Boys, and their own personal games. Awesome hour-long listen that I look forward to on a weekly basis.

BrettryantalleyI listen to this podcast. What is there to say about The Hosel Jockeys? I’m one of those guys who’s love for golf far outweighs his availability & financial flexibility to play very often. So Tyler & Bryan have given me another outlet to enjoy the game without drawing the ire of my wife or budget (this outlet is far more fulfilling than reorganizing the clubs in my golf bag again). I chatted Tyler once for like 5 minutes & never knew Bryan existed before I listened to this (sorry, Bryan…its okay though because now I’m a fan), but I love that this podcast just feels like they are 2 of your buddies talking golf and obsessing about their games while completely ignoring that you are in the room with them…because you’re not. Sometimes it feels weird that I have learned to care this much about their games that I want details & updates on how they’re progressing…but here we are. I am not ashamed. There are so many things to love about this podcast: snickers the cat interruptions, the way Tyler says “that’s interesting” when he finds something interesting, Bryan’s glorious mantras and expanding my lexicon with words like “kanif” (sp), stockdown, & stumptown. Thanks fellers.
-
Kylerstanton0000Outstanding!I love the podcast guys! Interview suggestions: Anthony Kim or Keegan Bradley. I have officially started a drinking game for every time Bryan says "pod" or abbreviates any other word. It's fun.
-
NabdubwbsksnsBreakfast BallsThis will soon become one of your favorite podcasts. Great golf talk from two guys whose passion for the game outweighs their ability (Just like the rest of us). Bryan and Tyler are well prepared for each episode with great segments and an enjoyable conversation.
-
wesj093MetalOffTheTeesThanks for this refreshing golf podcast by 2 candid, hilarious amateurs. Keep them coming. It's been great listening as your handicaps improve. After each listen I have fresh golf ling to misuse which makes for awkward coffee pot/water cooler chitchat with my superiors at work. I foresee a crowd at your next "swing" golf trip if your plans leak... you've been warned.

Rocky Ryser7 iron off the teeThis review is the 7 iron off the tee of reviews, fairly safe but not going deep at all. I really enjoy the mix of tour oberservations and the host personal golf journey. The show has a nice blend of acutal thought and per stupidity. Reminds me why golf is the best, the community and humor of time together with friends. Also we can all agree Johnny Miller is the worst.
-
WchadmillerGood jobAlways enjoy the podcast guys! Good content and entertaining conversations. Stock up. ⬆️

Mtsgibbs01You'll want to play golf with these guys.Highly recommend this podcast. This is like listening to the friends you wish you had to play golf with (or maybe I just need some better friends). Bryan and Tyler, if you guys ever need a fourth let me know. Any flaws I have as a golfing partner I make up for with constant contextual movie line usage and never taking a practice stroke. #incentive

CleanwingsThese Swing Doctors cover it all!So, do you ride the Hosel like a child rides a stick horse, or more like how a monkey rides a football? Speaking of football, I'd like to thank you two for entertaining me through the summer dead period of sports until football season begins.
-
The Sweet LandFirst Golf Podcast I've EnjoyedUnlike most of the other golf podcasts I've checked out, listening to the Hosel Jockeys feels like hanging out with your friends talking and bickering about golf, which is exactly what I was looking for. It's refreshing to hear talk about golf that doesn't come from PGA professionals or someone giving swing tips, and they definitely don't take themselves too seriously. Well done, Bryan and Tyler; looking forward to many more episodes to come.
-
naterectorIt’ll doI’ve found that once I’ve listened to the best of the Dan LeBatard show podcast, the interesting Bill Simmons podcasts, and latest stuff you should know podcast… and still find myself bored over the weekend or on my way to shoot a better score than Tyler or Brian, well then, this podcast is the perfect filler. I am interested most of the time and there is even occasional laughter. I recommend it the average amount and give it 5 stars.
-
DZH09Is there a tier below Hosel Jockey?I'm not sure I qualify as a Hosel Jockey. I'm a very occasional and less than mediocre golfer. Even as a casual golf fan this is an entertaining listen. I love Tyler's take making golf less of a hassle for the average golfer. This is a great podcast for anyone who is a fan of entertaining banter.
-
MattmunzGreat Podcast for Golf LoversIt's nice to hear golf talk from a couple of guys that really represent average golfers and normal golf fans. The conversational format is great and it's nice that the whole focus isn't just fantasy golf.
-
Bookaboom76Do you like golf???If you scull all your balls, this is the podcast for you!!! Even marginal golf fans will find this podcast entertaining.

Jason Ga.Equivalent to achieving GIRThe idea of increasing par by one stroke has alone helped my mental state during my golf game. If that was the only gem this podcast offered, then it alone would be worth subscribing. But there are gems aplenty. Each episode is like that pure swing you get every so often on the course that keeps you coming back for more. Super relatable, and you’ll feel like you know the guys by the end of an episode. Even introduced my dad to it on the way to a round of golf, and despite his calling it an “audio blog” - he loved it.
-
ReischyGreat podcast by normal guys- highly recommendI enjoy listening to the Hosel Jockeys while working at my 9-5. I do play Bridgestone golf balls. Both Tyler and Bryan are normal guys that love golf and talk about things that normal guys do on the course. Bridgestone e6s in fact. I look forward to the day when I can play a round with both of these guys and have these same conversations on the course. Bridgestone 330rx are good too.....
-
B23RedsGreat ShowLove the show. Keep it up! You guys keep it light and you throw in the perfect amount of randomness to keep in interesting and, at times, cringworthy, I think we've had enough port-o-poty talk. Keep up the good work guys!
-
Joey1648Love it!Love the podcast guys! I listen to this while at work and it couldn't make for a better day.
-
mixalot.audioGreat listenGreat podcast for all golf geeks out there. Keep up the good work guys!!
-
edog4Two funny guysBryan and Tyler are both very funny people. So naturally their podcast is awesome.
-
Fan0609Listen while I workFirst golf podcast I listen to, in which I feel I can win a match against the hosts. Nevertheless, can not stop listening to all the stock ups and downs. Highly entertaining, and sounds like a couple of guys I would enjoy to play with.
-
logster29I'm Not AloneThe chasm is wide between my ability to talk about golf and my ability to be a decent golfer. But, this podcast has shown me that I'm not alone. Highly recommend.
-
CorybyoGiving it 5 🌟'sDon't often give things, especially podcasts, such high marks. But this podcast is what a podcast is supposed to be it keeps me informed in the space, golf, however it fills the void of not having my crew of golf heads together where with this podcast I can get my golf insights out and hear new ones. I think it's a great podcast for a often labeled "hard to initially participate" sport. Keep it up you guys will have a breakthrough year.
-
STR82DVDBetter than Bill Simmons! Not a dig at Simmons - he's great (when not boring us with the NBA). But these guys are fantastic. They have an easy, accessible conversational style, but it's infused with creative show prep and segments. Love how they get into not only the minutiea of the game but the nuances of gear, style and the other accoutrements of golf. Speaking of segments, like Tyler I'm a sucker for the well-produced golfer profile during PGA programming. If that's you -- if you went from "Jim Herman?" to jumping off your couch when he wins within the span of an afternoon -- you'll appreciate the take on pro golf these guys have. Hopefully, when these guys hit it big, they won't shift 90% of their content to the NBA like Simmons did. What a bait-and-switch.
-
tjepayneHosel Jockeys are the best jockeysThis is by far the best golf podcast Bryan Allain and Tyler Stanton have ever made. Whether you play golf all the time and think you're good at it or you don't play often and have accepted your lack of skill, but still enjoy the game for some reason, this podcast is a blast!
-
kestantoAs Good As PenicillinIt’s great listening to average golfers with average golf goals because that is what I relate to. It doesn’t hurt that it’s funny too. Never get too good (at golf) for us, Bryan and Tyler!
-
Darrell WestGet Your Golf Fix HereGreat podcast for the "hacker" who desires to spend more time on the golf course and loves to take in anything golf related. Tyler and Bryan never fail to entertain.
-
evdaddy15Fun and interesting take on golfThese guys are just normal guys who love golf and talk about it from a perspective most of us can relate to. Great stories and fun segments like stock up, stock down and many others. Great podcast.
-
aghezlepRefreshing for the average golferTyler and Bryan do a great job of digging in to aspects of golf that give the feel of playing a round with your friends. Unlike the other golf podcasts out there, I don’t have to struggle through 45 minutes of how to hit a high draw or executing a proper hip turn. They talk about the aspects of golf that appeal to anyone with a moderate to extreme love of the game with an often self deprecating honesty that reminds me that golf can always be fun - even if I’m not a 3 handicap. I love the detailed accounts of their most recent rounds, their deep dives into the fringe aspects of the game, and their obvious passion for the game.
-
calebmcnaryI’m as good a writing reviews as they are at golfIf your love of golf is disproportionately higher than your ability to play it, you’re the target demographic. Making fun of jean shorts on the course: check. Hating ridiculous PGA rules: check. Guys who get excited to play bogey golf: double check. Deep diving on golf minutiae: check.

Go Dawgs ScottFavorite Pod Right NowNot sure how two guys sitting around talking golf can be so entertaining, but...it is addictive. If you have ever even heard of golf, or seen a pretentious white belter, this pod will keep you interested and is worth subscribing to. Keep em coming fellas!
-
reppeej*double pistols*It’s almost as good as that feeling you get after breaking 40 for the first time.
-
