BeardyBeefyBouncyGAnd then there was MattTwo adventurous gentlemen looking in the annals or sometimes anus of genre film to bring you a review show where Cort makes Matt watch films that would warp the minds of the weak. Will Matt make it out alive or will he slovenly cry him clean while sitting in his shower? Listen to find out!

BobMaloogaLoogaLoogaLoogaJust discovered these guys today. As a subscriber to several horror movie podcasts such as Sick on Cinema, 2 Guys and a Chainsaw, Neon Brainiacs, The Horror Show, etc. I am happy to add these fellas to my listening schedule. At this point I have only listened to the TCM 1 and 2 episodes, but that was enough to know that this is a show to me. Good chemistry between the hosts, humor and a blow by blow of films I love will keep me listening. Thanks!

MechaBorillaI'm a MattThe chemistry between Cort and Matt is excellent!

DrConglomerateOutstandingListening to Cort and Matt break the movies down scene by scene gives the feeling of watching movies your parents wouldn't let you watch with the friends your parents wouldn't let you hang out with. Hysterical, informative and always entertaining.
-
AlienmojoFavorite Movie PodcastI listen to a lot of podcasts and I love how these guys treat their movies and their podcast. Very funny. Lots of good clips. The Black Hole was incredibly well done. Listening now to one of my favorite movies, Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil so I must go... :)

PiapeteAwesomeI frequently laugh my pants off. I'm sure Matt wants photos.
-
Fake_ShempFun, Insightful Genre Film CoverageCo-hosts Cort and Matt provide solid genre movie reviews in fun, witty and often irreverent banter. This is one of the few podcasts that consistently deliver insightful commentary on genre cinema while entertaining with funny, if sometimes crude, humor. Revisit you childhood cinematic traumas with tour guides who are garunteed to lead you astray.

dmsbr549Entertaining showI'll admit, with the first episode I really didn't get what they were going for since I was half listening while I did housework and cooked. After the second a third episodes, I was hooked. The guys have good chemistry and reminds me of my relationship with some of my friends from high school and college. They also get deeper into the movies (and maybe each other) than my first impression realized. The thing I like most is that they really enjoy the movies they cover and don't just do it to be snarky and dismissive.

The Hybrid Moments PodcastBadazzzzzzzThe Podcast is a fantastic blend of "F the police" and "Holy Shiiii, that's scary messed up". Cort and Matt cover a great blend of horror flicks from the relatively mild to the really really messed up, as Cort tries his best to give Matt some form of jacked up PTSD, as they review said films. A must listen, if you're into horror films, hate authority or the Catholic church. :-)

FugitiveModelLots of Charm and Ample SwearingThe movie choices are always a delightful surprise and the thoughts/comments range from dick jokes to the occasional profound thought. Cort and Matt are funny as hell and I look forward to their podcast each week.

JakeTheSnake1355Great stuff!Just discovered these guys through a recommendation and have been hooked ever since! If you love insightful breakdowns of movies that give you new things to look out for the next time you watch it and some dirty offensive humor that will make you burst out laughing in public, I'd say give these guys a shot!

MonkeyGrrlVHas that movie scarred you? There's no denying that certain movies get into your head. Sometimes it's good, but sometimes it's bad. Cort & Matt share the effects of movies in their own lives. They bring stories of cinema's lasting effects..often with a traumatic twist. Pour yourself a drink & be prepared to laugh. There is never a dull moment.

witchhousedreamerI love this podcast.I love the premise of this podcast. I had a similar experience - watching certain movies way too early - including many of the same titles!! I Spit on Your Grave, Last House on the Left, 10 to Midnight, etc... These guys have a great chemisty, awesome guests and go into depth on these films. I epsecially enjjoy that. Many podcasts just talk generally about the film - Cinema PSYOPS goes moment by moment, and that is how I like to talk about film. Plus they got me to go back and watch Blood and Lace, and now it's one of my favorite films!! Listen to them!!

Clockwork CardiacWho knew trauma could be so funny? This is quite easily one of the top two or three funniest movie review podcasts out there, with quite possibly one of the most unique premises for a show--every week, Cort showcases a film that traumatized him as a child, and his esteemed colleague Matt provides the color commentary. Not only does the show provide information on some titles I may have passed over before (and, in some cases, I am encouraged to pass over), but the interplay between Cort's dry humor and Matt's freewheeling, ribald wit keeps me laughing and wanting more. At the time of this writing, Cinema PSYOPS is getting ready to celebrate its fiftieth episode, and I'm hoping they're around for at least five hundred more!

MikeMurphy260Great PodcastGive these two lovers a listen. I mean, two lovers of cinema a listen. You won't regret it. Matt often podcasts naked and Cort oftens watches Matt podcast naked.

WolfWays Sin#Hashtag#TraumaNeverSoundedSoGood. #CinemaPSYOPS #podcast dives headlong into your #CinematicHistory to #uncover your #TraumaInventory. With #HugeAmounts of #humor, #HostsCortAndMatt #unload their #friendship all over #film. It's a #CircleJerk of #sarcasm & #psychology. If you've ever been #traumatized by something you've seen in #cinema -- or if you ever #enjoyed a #GoodLaugh -- you should #ListenToCinemaPSYOPS.

Daeron WilsonAlways a good time even with bad moviesI've been listening for a while now and can just pick any episode at random knowing it will be a good time. Some movies are heavier than others but that's kind of the point. Highly recommend checking these dudes out.
-
Kbdudz32I don't want to go to a mental hospital.Cort and Matt play well off of each other. They break down the movie they are covering beat by beat and break each other's (and the film's) balls. The format really works because they aren't jumping all over the place in the movie. It's a fun mix of film analysis and dick jokes. If you listen and think it's funny you could even be a guest. I was and I hope to be again!

Newty28Funny & Fun & InformativeMet these guys thru other shows I listen to, I started listen to their catalogue & these 2 have amazing chemistry together & the shows are informative & funny & cover a wide range of movies. I liked them so much that I asked to join them on a show & they welcomed me with open arms. Give them a listen & you'll be hooked like I am. Oh & look for my episode with the guys, we cover Friday The 13th NEWTY

A fun Trip into a Sick Psyche! This is how it' done!I love this show with a blind passion! Listening to Matt be driven to near despair at the youthful cinematic explorations of Cort is far more fun than it should be. Does that make me a bad person for enjoying Matt's suffering? Oh well. Unitl he recants his Naschy comments I will wish him ill. ;-)
-
Myron SchmidtGreat ShowJust starting listening and really enjoy the podcast. Looking forward to future shows!
-
David T. WatsonFun, Offbeat, FunCort, and Rosco, go through and explore some fun genre pieces. They have a fun chemistry, and a great back and forth in terms of how they talk about the films they cover. A definite recommend!
-
Chris the BarbarianWhat good is science if no one gets hurt? What happens when a demented cinephile straps his happy go lucky friend to chair and forces him to witness his childhood his cinematic trauma? Tune into to this show to find out who is more damage the mad doctor reliving the trauma or the human guniea pig who is being traumatized for the first time. A fun loving romp through the seedy parts of the world of film!
-
ChristopherPage2 guys and a castCort and Matt explore some great films. Some in-podcast skits add some fun, but the real thing to enjoy is these two reviewing the movies and actually coming up with some interesting points. Everything from the obvious to the āIām not sure that was really there, but you go, Cort!ā Not safe for listening out loud in the work place or 100 yards from schools. Certainly worth checking out.
