    This Podcast is My Community
I’m a lowly & lonely in-house corporate copywriter without the connections & support that so many freelancers seem to have and despite myths I’ve heard about continuing education and professional growth training, NO U.S. corporation would ever invest in something as shameful as a copywriting conference, so thank God I found this podcast! It satisfies that need and I even attended Kate’s CopyCon (Life-changing...and on my own dime, of course.) While the snacks are less impressive with the podcast, the price can’t be beat. A+++!

    My Favorite Podcast Ever!
I’m not even a copywriter, just a marketer, and I can’t stop listening to this podcast! The hosts and guests are amazing and I learn volumes from each episode! My three other podcasts are on hold until I listen to every episode of the Hot Copy podcast (including the ones on their website too)! They say this podcast is for copywriters, but in my humble opinion it’s also for entrepreneurs, marketers, and sales people too because each episode is packed full of gems of information. Thanks ladies and to all the guests for this valuable podcast and copywriting gold. I absolutely love it!

I wish all copywriting podcasts were as engaging
I’ve tried almost all of them, HC is the best! I swear, you don’t even need to be a copywriter to enjoy it, they’re so funny. Real people that give tips you can put into practice the second you take your headphones off. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve hit the pause button in order to write down something that I need to implement in my writing or business. -Evan Postier, Minnesota, USA evanpostier.com

    My favorite copywriting podcast
I’ve given near a dozen copywriting-related podcasts a test drive and this is far-and-away my favorite one. It’s educational, funny, and well worth any copywriter’s time. Hosts do a wonderful job of staying on topic and making each episode enjoyable. From one copywriter to another, this is the podcast you should be listening to.

    Enjoyable and Educational
I'm not a freelance copywriter, but I do write sales copy for my business, so this podcast has tons of good info for me and others like me. I love the energetic and entertaining style that also manages to give the listener wonderful information. I love getting marketing and writing advice all rolled into one. Great for Seasoned Pros and Absolute Beginners
This is hands down the best podcast about this business. I know that’s a bold statement, but I’m a senior copywriter and I’ve been writing professionally for about 10 years. I currently work for a well known Fortune 500 company and have a solid amount of freelance on the side. I only mention that so you know this review isn't from some greenhorn that doesn’t know better. If you are new, this is a great place to start. If you are seasoned, you’ll be delighted at their suggestions for the backend stuff (personal branding, billing, legal, etc.). Hearing about how other people approach running a freelance business is valuable, especially if you’re coming from an agency or in-house situation. Unlike graphic design, the vast majority of the resources for copywriters are just garbage. The forums are full of weirdo positive thinking cult members and scammers. The newer books on copywriting age badly and are useless within a few years. Almost no one has solid advice on setting rates or how to better manage your clients. I’m of the opinion that you can either write or you can’t, but they have great writing tips that will definitely help anyone get more proficient. I used a tip I picked up from them the next day on a live project. The hosts are smart, relatable, honest, and experienced. For some reason I keep wondering which one tells a better dirty joke. It’s probably the accents.

    Useful for Solopreneuers, Too
Every episode Hosts Belinda Weaver and Kate talk about the nuts and bolts of working as a copy writer. Much of the information shared focuses on freelancer writers, but anyone working for themselves will find useful tips here. There's much good humor, too.

    Great Show. Great Perspective.
As any copywriter knows, exposure to new and/or differing perspectives can be a gold mine. Hearing the thoughts of copywriters outside the US is very enlightening.
