Iš¤GILMORE GIRLSI LOVE YOU SCOTTTTI love Gilmore girls so much. It is amazing and it was like the first show. You know that was kind of mature for me and I just really really loved that I went to Outer Banks. You know what I want to young Sheldon and a good girls guide to murder Gilmore girls is always the stuff itās so amazing and Scott your podcast is just show like awesome and amazing. Love you, Scott!

AMiller-UtahToo many interruptionsPlease let your guests and co-podcasters talk. I appreciate Scottās opinions and insights, but let the others fully express their thoughts and answer the questions you ask them instead of keep talking.

therealdisneygameDown to Earth PodcastI am a Luke Danes kind of guy. My wife got me into Gilmore Girls after we got married about 2 years ago. Since then Iāve seen every episode and season in full 3 times. Itās gets better and better! I have recently been to the WB set and I have called the streets of Stars Hallow. This podcast feels like Stars Hallow is hometown and that Luke Danes is an old buddy I can catch up with. My wife and I LOVE the pop culture reference section. Suggestion: bring back āJessā to the podcast more. That collaboration is always great!
-
Rgreen2025Danielle & AmyI adore Danielle & Amyās podcasts. I could listen to them chat about almost anything. Iām looking forward to the Parenthood podcast.
-
sezs05Obscene ad contentPLEASE NO ADS THAT REFERENCE ANAL OR ORAL SEX. I have listened to every episode of this podcast, and lately they are including an ad plugging an iheart podcast, I think called hookups? Itās clearly going to contain gay sexual references and allusions HEAVILY because the ad itself has two. I canāt opt out of listening to this ad, which means this podcast is no longer safe for consumption with a wide audience.
-
DianethegreatToo many adsI like the episodes with Suzanne and Danielle, but the others are meh. Unsubscribing due to the obscene number of ads
-
AmwlovesdinosScottās rants about the reboot movies/episodes are so true to Luke šLove it all. Almost always in line with Danielleās opinions. Just wish theyād all let each other finish thoughts. So many interruptions. I excuse it because I know everyone is just so passionate about GG!

Lindsay2024EastonI really like Eastonās interviews I learn a lot

JaneyN89Easton is the bestEastonās pop cult is the best part of the show. His joy is so obvious as he interviews!!! Keep it up

AKAGirl1908Scott Killed LukeI donāt think Scott can separate himself from Luke and he just becomes insufferable. He canāt hear any other perspective and itās Uber. Annoying as somebody who has watched the entire series 20 times him have these strong takes on how things would play out when he hasnāt even watched the show.Good glad you filmed it, but you werenāt aware if youāre telling the truth, how pieces were clipped together and how things played out. Heās just coming across as bitter and awful and is often uninformed. Was he on the show, yes. Did he watch the show and fully understand the characters in their evolution, I say no. There are many things that he says that Luke would do that Luke did not do through the when they get to reviewing a year in the life. Thatās where I just canāt tolerate him at all. This podcast is terrible and sometimes you can be too close to to see it for what it is and the way he treats his cohost that disagree with him is disgusting. Now I hate Luke and I want. Laura lie to leave him procreate with him. As Taylor said, āI think you were born a bitter and surly killjoy.ā

VnesscuGlad I discovered this podcastI have been a Gilmore Girls Fan for 5+ years & I wish I knew this podcast existed sooner & kind of upset with myself that I just discovered itā¦
-
Captainb22DisappointedI really want to enjoy this podcast but the constant ranting and talking over each other has made it impossible to listen to.
-
AlliewogWhy is your audio so choppy? All the audio skips distract me more than the reviews are able to hold my interestā¦what the heck?
-
AkashfordAwesome but watch outI love the town meeting!! Suzanne and Tara are awesome. Scott is kind of a downer but I like the again with the cast/directors!!! Watch out for the news with Danielle and Amy. They spoil other shows without warning and just ruined āthis is usā for me. (Yes I know itās been out since 2022 but thatās still new in streaming world.)
-
KB4FamilyLove the New Format!I am loving the new format! Pop culture, whatās new with the crew, and the again episode review with special guests is incredible! Keep it up!
-
DavehugdahlGreat until season 7This podcast has been great until season 7, when all they seem to do is trash the show.
-
LizLinDouble down on the ads recentlyI have been listening to and enjoying this show for years but since they started the Netflix movie reviews they have double down on ads and it has made the show unbearable to listen to. Ever 5 minutes there are 2-3 minutes of ads and itās infuriating- starting with ads, 5 minutes in ads, 10 minutes in ads. The show isnāt worth listening to THAT many ads. Way to squeeze every last penny out of the last two episodes.
-
marinakayyItās fine?ā¦Again? I canāt imagine the point in re-doing the podcast from the beginning except as some sort of money-grab which feels really lame. I started this podcast from the very beginning because I was excited to hear Scottās perspective and also the perspective of someone watching it for the first time, and at a certain point I just felt too far in to stop. But I donāt find much of the episodes very interesting and I find myself tuning out of a lot of it. Idk. I listen to a lot of podcasts every week and this is the most skipped one in my library by far, especially the pop culture and other bonus content.
-
bendywendyogaHow many shows has Scott Patterson written?Since Scott seems to know so much more than the Palladinoāsā¦ā¦just asking. š¤£
-
NiqueBarnettLove it!I love this podcast! I love listening to the episode and then rewatching the episode afterwards to catch all the little things they talked about. Itās so funny and love hearing everyoneās POV! Also, Suzanne was a such a fun add and sheās my new favā¦love all her Easter eggs and opinions.
-
KJ382024Drives me crazyI watch Gilmore girls everyday. Even being a huge GG fan, I canāt stand this podcast. I took a 2 year break hoping it would get better, it hasnāt. If it werenāt for the occasional interesting factoid, I would stop.
-
HayleytheWillEnjoyable Messy ConversationsI enjoy this podcast. It is the only Gilmore Girls podcast I have been able to get into. I look forward to listening each week. To me, it feels more like I am overhearing a conversation from a group of friends. It is pretty informal and some friends talk more than others. I donāt always agree with what they say, and they donāt always agree with each other but that makes it fun. I love Gilmore Girls and have seen it several times but I donāt take it super seriously so I am ok with hearing lots of varying opinions and rolling my eyes when they get details wrong or donāt remember things. I usually skip pop culture and the one on ones.
-
AubriebunsLove it!Thank you for your time and dedication to the show and bringing the fans content! I loved hearing how Scott fell in love with the show as he started watching it for the first time and seeing how this developed over time. What they provide here is unique. Itās great to get different perspectives and opinions, hear about pop culture, acting and behind the scenes reality. I think too many people are listening hoping to hear what they want to hear and arenāt open to the interesting and maybe unexpected discussions provided. This may not be for everyone, but I appreciate the candid feelings and thoughts of this group and their guests. Iām having a great time!

AnxietyQueen69EhThis wouldnāt be so bad if Amy wasnāt there. Canāt stand her. Talking over everyone, doing annoying things like eating on air and going on rants completely off topic, trying to force everyone to agree with her stupid and ridiculous opinions. She seems to want to talk about how her hair looks and what sheās wearing instead of Gilmore Girls. And sheās constantly spoiling the show for Scott and Danielle, who are watching it for the first time, even though theyāve told her over and over again not to. She is the worst part of this podcast, and it would be so much better without her. Scott is ok, but I get the impression he thinks heās godās gift to man. Love Danielle, Suzanne, and Tara. Gilmore Girls is my favorite show, and Iāve already listened to the entirety of Gilmore Guys, which was hilarious perfection.
-
amreba33Stop InterruptingI love looking back, but the constant interrupting is annoying and takes away from the show. Scott becomes rude and irritating when no one agrees with his opinion.
-
BritteWelshHot and ColdI either LOVE or HATE listen. No in between. Pop Culture is always a skip for me so I hate when itās a Monday episode. :(
-
Klee2038164I canāt listen to this anymoreItās just gets worse and worse. Scott Patterson comes across as a spoiled brat that never grew up. I used to love the character of Lukeā¦.listening to him on this podcast has ruined Luke for me.
-
Jbml420Get the gilmoreGirlsIts so weird they never have either of the stars on scotts awesome but come on

Ocean 5678Character flawsI used to listen to this podcast back in season one but had to stop because of how many times I couldnāt understand how little the people talking really understand the characters in the show. I really want to agree more with Scott, but I donāt think he understands the characters that live in stars hollow. Especially Lorelei. Iām surprised that he seems to have such a love for Lorelei as Scott through Luke, but simultaneously thinks that sheās just a rich snob a lot of the time. I decided to listen to the latest episode today to see if anything had changed in the format because there used to be segments that felt really off-topic and weāre honestly just boring to listen to. And I still feel like the podcast cast doesnāt understand the story or the characters in the show. Scott seems truly upset to hear that Gilmore girls is about Lorelei. He even said āwell I donāt have any more opinions. You guys have fun talking because Iām just flotsam.ā thatās not at all whatās being said. How do you not know that the show is about Lorelei? It doesnāt negate the work that Scott has done nor the character of Luke. Is it disappointing that Rory is a disappointment? Yes. Is it off character for her? Absolutely not. Many many times throughout the original series we have seen where Rory doesnāt have the gumption that Lorelei has. Do the movies live up to the original? No. And a lot of the things you guys said about using certain characters as clowns is true. But itās crazy to me that Scott doesnāt seem to understand that the very thing he was talking about ā having a storyline and it not being boring is what the writers were doing. If everyone is thriving, which of course we all want to see by the end of these movies, then what is the storyline? Thereās no obstacle to overcome. Did they do some of the characters dirty? Absolutely. But some of those characters really do make sense if you look at it from a life and character development stance. We donāt always get to know the backstory of everyone. Thatās whatās cool about watching a show. We donāt always understand the motivation. I think they were trying to show us the motivation through these movies. I also agree with (I think itās Amy) saying that she sees herself in Lorelei. Saying that women her age are going through those things. You have to remember, the audience has grown up too. Those of us that originally watched Gilmore girls are now adults. Even though Iām younger, Iāve always seen myself in Lorelei. Gilmore girls has always had a lot of whimsy, and that is what brings us back to it all the time, but it also has always had relationships and issues that speak to a more realistic level. If we look at Gilmore girls on a whole, their whole lives and think about character development and the way we want to see them grow, the movies are just one Point in that life. So if they did another movie that was another 10 years in the future we want to see development from where they are. But I think the writer of the show had said she wanted to show us what would happen if everything went wrong instead of everything going right. We wouldnāt believe it if the storyline of everyone was perfect.

MM-catalystAmy must learn to shut up!Throughout the podcast episodes I have found Amy usually insufferably grating. After listening to the Winter installments, I finally had to comment. Amy needs voice lessons, first of all, as her voice is too high pitched and very annoying when she gets excited and starts talking over everyone, which happens often. As a radio professional, hasn't anyone ever pointed this out to her? The tone of her voice often is like chalk on a board! Secondly, Amy's role should be to facilitate the conversation and Scott's inputs and perspectives, not talk over him, again and again, and when she disagrees with what he says, why does has to continue to talk over him and discount his opinion telling him he's wrong... Maybe just maybe, she is? And in this last episide she was like a dog with a bone, and had to have the last word, coming back with her same disagreeing points over and over to the point of ridiculously annoying exhaustion. I honestly think Amy is better suited in an off the air role.

xxsxzsxNeeds to be shorter; too much rambling about nothingTrue rating: 2 1/2. Because there so many people talking all the time about nothing! Why?! It should be Scott and maybe one other co-host. And yes, invite another person from time to time. Butā¦too many voices - and Amy is just grating my nerves. Take a big breath, Amy, because youāre really starting to bug me. And to everyone, stop going off on tangents. Stop talking over each other. Stop rambling about each others personal lives. Itās unnecessary, and itās irritating. So you might ask, why do I still listen? Because I love Gilmore Girls. I like the behind-the-scenes. I like the genuine discussions about the trajectory & dialogue of the characters. I like Scott Patterson. Overall, itās more satisfying than annoying. But, this ok podcast could be a great podcast with a little bit more editing and restraint. I know the āskip 30 seconds aheadā button well, even though the subject matter is near and dear to my heart.
-
kytfuyihiljko;Love GGMore Scott, love Scott and his perspectives! I almost always agree with your take on the situations (like Lukeās denigration as a character in Winter). Love the show and everyoneās take and back and fort, HOWEVER Amy needs to learn to listen more and interrupt less. Itās not the Amy show. I know youāre all friends, however, Scott I see you and I validate your points. Sometimes it feels like your take gets bulldozed over.
-
JenaslynLove Scott, Amy stop arguing!Iāve been listening for well over a year and love hearing Scottās take and the discussions had by the crew, but for the first time I had to turn it off on this last winter episode because of Amy arguing with Scott over the stupid chair!! I just couldnāt take it anymore! If someone has a different opinion then her she has to talk them into submission and have the last word! Itās so disrespectful. I was cringing for Scott. If anything it should be his opinion thatās expressed the most! He was there, he held the script, acted the scenes! Lets be honest the fans are all here to hear him.
-
Espresso aficionadoIf you love this showā¦rewatch with this crew!Iām late to the game. Almost 50 years of age I was very busy in 2000-2007 never watched Gilmore. Until my daughter got to be Roryās age in the show. (Cue waterworks) LOVE IT! (Told my mom to watch too) I am rewatching with this podcast and connect the most with Amy and Scott (cause Iām old too). Love the pop culture references explained. But mostly Scottās āmaster classā in acting for film and television is fascinating.

Ol' Evil EyeMy sincerest apologies. So you have to be man enough to admit you are wrong. I admit that I misinterpreted or misheard something and took it to me something completely different. This age of cyber stocking and cyber bullying takes a toll on a person psych. I take back everything I said in my last review, honestly, none of it had nothing to do with you guys. It wasnāt your fault and it was all on me. Again, my sincerest apologies. The addition of Suzanne has been very great. Itās been great to have some in intellectual expansion to these reviews. I enjoy the tangents and the rants. I also didnāt hate episode seven as much as other people did. Season seven excuse me. I actually think Lucy and Olivia aside from Paris were the best friends that Rory ever had. I think April was great addition to the show because she helped Luke grow and it was evident by just watching the episodes. You see Logan mature and actually become more than just a spoiled rich kid. there were other things that I canāt think of right now. Sometimes you would like to hear more insight from Scott having been a part of the show but overall the show just got better and better as it went on. And honestly, if you guys decided to watch the entire show from seasons one through seven all over again, I would be totally down with it. and I sincerely apologize for calling Amy old. I love you all and you have a part of the safe space that Gilmore girls has been for me for many many years now. Please donāt stop doing what you were doing and again sorry for my misinterpretations of what I heard and mistook to mean something that honestly didnāt mean what I thought it meant. You guys keep doing your thing.

Jamest77vbgood podcast šāļøšŗA bit long, they babble a lot and get off topic but i like it. also, babette ate oatmeal!
-
JenDub21Wanted to like itI was so excited for this podcast but I cannot listen without being irritated because Amy will not stop talking and speaking over people. Iād give it a 4/5 without her.
-
Gypsisoul1111This is just the BEST(not any more as it goes on)I have been looking for Stars Hollow in my road trip wanderings. I love Scottās humor, I can listen to him talk for ever. The fact that he is telling us all about one of my most favorite things in the world???? AWESOME!!!! I love this podcast. Im not sure why he discusses with really young people that donāt get 90% of the references. Thatās kind of irritating. Maybe an āolderā person thrown in would be better. 3/12/22 Second addendum: I canāt listen to this Podcast any more. If it was just Scott it would be ok. Was so glad pop culture is separate so I can skip it. This is no longer entertaining. 8/21/24 I come back and TRY SO MANY times to listen to this podcast as I watch GG DVDs at least once a year and would love more insight that this podcast used to give in the beginning. Behind the scenes stuff etc. But the further into the seasons of this podcast there is no longer any behind the scenes info, itās just basic BORING OPINIONS, and I literally cannot just cannot listen to Amy. Yeah she says she cant help butting in but gezuz. ALL THE TIME????? she talks over everyone, doesnāt let anyone talk. And itās just her opinions that she butts in with. WHO CARES????oh and I noticed she will be against something and then someone else says something and she quickly agrees which is opposite. No credibility to the buttinski. This was my 4th or 5th time trying??? I just cant. Too bad.
-
AbupixelAmy, just stop.I canāt take the whining and the over the top childish reactions here. Fine to criticize the writing and the story arc of season seven, but can you try to converse like adults? I had to turn off the latest podcast episode before it was over. Have to add there are way too many ads on this podcast. Iāll finish this one out, but Iāll never follow another iheart podcast, there so much better content out there without ads.
-
GreatGameReviews123Love this podcastI love this podcast because Iām obsessed with Gilmore girls and itās so fun. My biggest dream is to meet the cast of Gilmore girls. Especially Scott Patterson and Lauren Graham. I LOVE LAUREN GRAHAM!!! Y'all did so good playing your characters in Gilmore girls.
-
jpltroskeyBones to pickYall never seem to understand that your ābone to pickā is a peek into the inner workings of the character, not just how they present themselves on the outside. These moments that feel off often lead to bigger moments in later episodes. Cool it. Also, yall have more ads than any other podcast I listen too.
-
FpcampbellsoupLove me some Gilmore girlsI have been watching and rewatching since the pilot was launched on tv..This is my go to show itās my background noise. I feel very happy when I watch it. When I first discovered the podcast, I rewatched Gilmore every week. I love how each episode is dissected and when you guys point out the Easter eggs which Iāll be watching again. I was able to finally take the WB Tour and I absolutely loved it. I saw Mrs Kimās home, sookies house, starshollow high. Roryās study tree and of course the gazebo where I got to take a picture sitting on the steps. Just loved it. Thank you all for doing this podcast, I look forward to it each week.
-
Kitkatie24Just started rewatching and loving this podcast!I just started rewatching Gilmore Girls for the 3rd time and found this podcast so I'm watching along with the podcast. I'm loving it! I wish I was up to date so I could maybe be called into the episodes like they are doing in Season 1, so I may have to skip ahead because I see they are currently almost at the end of Season 7. I love listening to Scott's reactions to watching this for the first time. I love his opinions as both Scott and Luke. I also love all the pop culture references. I thought I got most of them all but after listening to them recap them, I do miss some so it's great to learn these things. Very interesting and enjoyable. Looking forward to rewatching while listening to this podcast at the same time.

Summer fun girl59My name is Sophie antenet FartellemI love this podcast so much, though Luke or (Scott Patterson) doesn't talk as much as he's honored to! Amy and his other co-host talk for practically the whole episode while Luke or Scott only gets to pitch in wee little Peeps! I've looked over all these reviews and watched all Gilmore Girls films as in a "Year in the Life" and their OG "Gilmore Girls", it's a great podcast but looking at other reviews we all think the co-hosts should let our true host talk for longer time! We're only listening to the podcast because of him, so let him talk and fell as shared as Amy and the other co-host! Another thing I feel is troublesome about this podcast is the recapping! my people, my hosts, my recappers, please try to not talk about other things for one second and try to stay of track of recapping the episodes, we need full attention to one episode not peeps from others here and there! We're here for all the description and design of episode structure, you are breaking the structure when you place the episode as one from a newer season! And what if a newer gal watching Gilmore Girls is here? They don't need your spoilers prancing all around them! They need freshly baked good old plan episodes, not spoilers from higher seasons!
-
IselaCJust love it!This awesome podcast is full of laughs and itās great getting to know more about one of my top favorite shows. Iām on my second rewatch beginning to end and itās on my list of shows to rewatch yearly. I hope I can catch up before your finale episode. Thank you for doing this podcast.
-
LMBummedDemise of the Gilmore GirlsI was hoping when I listened to this podcast I could get a revised, optimistic review of seasons 6, 7, and the movies. Unfortunately, even you have been unable to do that, but itās comforting to know I havenāt been wrong. They ruined Lukeās character in season 6, they ruined Lorelai and even Lane in season 7, and Rory and Paris in the movies. Going forward I will stop all rewatches at the end of season 5.
-
SigkapoliGreat until Season 7Love, love, love the podcast, but much like Season 7 of the show, this season of the podcast is on life support. The pop culture minis are mostly ads, and the ads cut in at weird times. The regular episodes are much shorter, itās like they canāt wait to stop recording. As someone who didnāt watch the show when it originally aired, Season 7 was off, but I didnāt know why.
-
whyareallthenamestakenthoBest podcast Iāve ever listened to!This podcast is so funny and just so good. I love to listen to to this podcast in the morning and just whenever itās so amazing and itās just so funny to hear what Scott Patterson thinks about all the love interests and just the show in general! If youāre looking for a good podcast you should definitely listen to this podcast! Itās also really fun to learn about the auditions and just how they got into this INCREDIBLE show. I think you should listen to this podcast too!
-
GamingCaitSuper Fan is an understatement!I started watching Gilmore Girls probably 25+ years ago (Iām 29) with my grandmother and I watch it probably twice a year ever since. I even have a Gilmore Girl tattoo (like many other fans). Being obsessed would be an understatement. Coming across this podcast was the greatest thing ever. I love you guys, I love the show. One day I would love to make it to California to do a tour!
-
loveloveliveloveloveutahSometimes great, Sometimes notI have enjoyed this podcast overall. I love all the hosts. I appreciate how it is organized. I enjoy all the extra knowledge about the filming of the show. All the extra interviews and how much Scott loves the fans. So good. Iād say my biggest beef is it can get stressful, annoying, and a downer to listen to them rattle on and on and on about the things they dislike. I get it. Season 7 isnāt as strong as all the other seasons. I genuinely get it. Get over it and just move on. If you donāt like how the writing is or that Luke isnāt as front as centerā¦ itās because itās āGilmore Girlsā not āGilmore Girls and Lukeā. Just move on.
