This is an amazing podcast from an even more amazing, inspirational woman. I truly wish the “fake” reviews from disgruntled people that are clearly politically charged were vetted. Michelle Obama has been someone I looked up to, and this podcast has confirmed it even more! She reminds me of some of the women in my family or in my circles in general, and I’m truly glad to be able to hear more of her perspectives.

What a wonderful idea of creating a podcast with your brother, Iove the inside peek at their collective life knowledge, I’m taking notes. I enjoy the energy, knowledge and the guests, thank you both, fan for life!

I find myself smiling from ear to ear as Michelle and her brother bring on incredible guests many of them talented, inspiring Black voices to share stories that are real, nostalgic, and deeply moving. It feels like being part of a meaningful, affirming conversation that I didn’t know I needed. I hate seeing how some people leave unfair, racially motivated reviews in an attempt to bring the show down—it’s disheartening. Yes, the ad breaks can feel a bit long, especially since the show is still fairly new and finding its rhythm, but that doesn’t take away from the overall experience. I’m truly enjoying every episode and look forward to more.

Michelle Obama has to be the most negative, unappreciative person on the planet. I’ve never heard so much complaining, and bemoaning from a former FLOTUS. It was SO hard to live in The White House. Give me a break. Not going to Trump’s inauguration was petty & childish. That’s part of the gig for having the great privilege, not once, but twice, of being the First Lady. Put on the dress, show up, and SMILE. Be gracious. Wasn’t it Michelle who said, when they go low, we go high? Too bad she doesn’t really behave that way. So completely narcissistic and out of touch. This is proof that even when she’s been blessed with more than she deserves, Michelle can still be miserable and self absorbed. No sympathy from me!

I like the format and structure of the podcast. I would suggest some transitions when guests are arriving and before and after the questions. I like the real life aspect of the podcasts and that it’s not all about the guest. I enjoy the brother and sister dynamic. What people have to understand is that money doesn’t mean you don’t struggle, you may struggle differently. Having financial stability doesn’t mean she shouldn’t share what she has gone through or is going through…… how fair is that as humans that we must be invincible if we have money. Hate will never end so this message is truly to anyone that is considering this podcast but reading some of the “victim” reviews…… she doesn’t complain SHE SHARES HER EXPERIENCES! She is also realistic that people will find something to hate about her. Craig does a great job trying to steer conversations back to the questions so the dynamic works really well.

Whether it’s someone cutting in front of her at a yogurt shop, or having to pay for food, this lady is ALWAYS oppressed. Mish should do a week of shows centered around positive messaging or stories. Would go along way to change peoples perception of her.

With a million and one podcasts to choose from, why select one from a privileged narcissist, packed full of complaining and whining about how hard and bad her life is? SMH

We Americans want our money back

I loved M.O’s book “Becoming” and tuned in because I thought that there would be more intelligent insight, wisdom and maybe some mentorship. What I found was a podcast where they barely let their guests talk, Michelle talks over literally anyone and finishes their sentences for them and all they do is talk to each other ABOUT EACH OTHER. I mean, Jay Shetty barely got a word in and that was disappointing because I really looked forward to hearing from him on the topic and he was such a good host when he had them on HIS podcast. Taraji’s episode was so good but again they kept talking over her. The ads are also way too long and frequent and kind of annoying. Especially when they don’t even announce/incorporate it gracefully. I had to make sure I was still on the same episode MULTIPLE times. I don’t think I’ll keep listening.

This is an amazing podcasts. Don’t let these trolls convince you otherwise. This amazing woman lives in their minds daily and she’s not thinking about them. I love that and she how show. Hey Craig!

I really enjoy this podcast it makes me feel relaxed when I’m driving home. I feel like I’m sitting with my aunt and uncle just talking and learning from them. Keep it going!

I enjoyed this conversation so much! Damon and Marlon were funny, entertaining guests and I felt Craig and Michelle did a good job of asking great questions but also allowing their guests to talk without interruption. I’ll be back for more episodes!

I love listening to the banter between Michelle and Craig and their guests. I love the insight into Black families. Well worth listening to, especially if you didn’t have a great familial foundation. They don’t shy away from controversial topics and their guests always bring something extra to the table. As a parent I’m listening to learn and to heal neglected parts of my childhood past.

I love Michelle. She is a incredible human, intelligent, well spoken, relatable. Excellent conversation she has with her brother Craig and guests. Love the siblings bantering. If you are not a fan of the Obama’s don’t bother. Because nothing will change your mind. Move along with your hate.

I have been through all this! Probably the hardest 8 years of my life, an excellent episode. Second review: this podcast just makes me happy. I need to have something to take all the stress from the current regime and remind me of a saner, smarter and enjoyable era. Btw: “We are over it” I think maybe you are the bitter one. Take off red hat and pay attention.

Given her charmed and privileged life, it’s unfortunate she seems so incredibly ungrateful and negative. She seems to be unable to say one positive word about this country and her husband. Does she even like him??

I didn’t come to give five stars but reading these reviews. Wow. Y’all need help/a life. Michelle is a true American hero. This podcast is alright. Sometimes Craig isn’t the greatest listener but Michelle is great. On and off the pod.

She says it keeps her up at night these (deportations), but her husband had twice as many in his two terms as Trump at this time in his administration. She’s nothing but a racist hypocrite. She sure does benefit from a country that she and her husband tore apart, and tried to destroy.

I’ll admit I went into my first episode with lower expectations because of some mixed reviews I had read. I must admit (not to my own surprise ;) that all of that dissipated less than 5 minutes into the episode with Taraji P. Hensen. I now realize that a lot of the negative noise is coming from a certain political party or perhaps those who have become disillusioned and displeased by Michelle (or Barack’s) Obama’s recent decisions. I enjoy Michelle’s perspective and advice, and I admire her character arc in recent years. Her and Craig have a good banter and relationship. I appreciate his thoughtful and respectful questions to the guests. Don’t tell Barack, but I actually enjoyed Michelle’s book better, so anything that I can consume of Michelle’s, the better 😊 All in all, a really good podcast to add to your weekly playlist.

I really appreciate the heartfelt discussion between a brother and sister and their in-depth interviews. I learned so much about my own relationships by analogy. I’m also gaining insight into the challenges and sacrifices of public service. Thanks for your collective honesty and openness.
