I LOVED THIS PODCAST!! I actually have had the privilege of going to Sundance once (2016) and it was the most magical long weekend of my adult life! I have missed it for the past few years for various reasons but this podcast brought back all the feels. The films that come out of the festival remain some of the most innovative and powerful works of art around. Thanks Josh and Ben for bringing this year’s festival directly to me and all the other listeners. I am looking forward to seeing several of the films you guys reviewed. Thanks also for repping the NRDC, which is one of my favorite organizations!

I am a die hard Happy, Sad, Confused fan. Hadn’t really known Ben before, love his enthusiasm and POV, might suggest that Ben listens more to the verbal cues that his interviewees give him, as I find he often talks over, changes the stream of consciousness before they get to make their point; talk less-listen more mantra. These two together have a lot to offer. Kudos to the partnership.

I loved this podcast so much. I arrived on the 4th Day of the fest but started listening before I came then listened to the rest of the episodes as I was here to stay in the loop. It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many great movies, actors and makers over ten days at Sundance —these conversations made me feel so connected to the films + filmmakers and helped me chose films to see that I might otherwise miss. (+ I met Josh on Main Street in between interviews. Next stop? SXSW?

Ben Lyons and Josh Horowitz are clearly old friends and know everyone in Hollywood so this podcast works really well. They get access to A list talent and have a fun and candid rapport with each other and their celebrity guests. They bring awesome insights to films and film festival culture that you can’t get anywhere else. Must listen for film fans that don’t take themselves too seriously.
