McBoss808The absolute best Star Wars podcast in the galaxyI found Jabba the Pod randomly around season 2 episode 2 of the Mandalorian and can say it made my work week so so much better. I love the production value and sound board (especially the FIRE EVERYTHING moments.) Brian, Caitlin and Matt have some of the best chemistry of any podcast I’ve heard. To find them so late and now to have the pod on hiatus was gut-wrenching but I sincerely hope SYFY Wire will bring them back. Thank you for the entertainment, the laughs and of course, many boats.
-
Refd 3422Entertaining and InformativeI really enjoyed this podcast. The hosts are very fun to listen to and knowledgeable. It’s a pure gem for someone who wants to learn more about the Star Wars universe. Too bad the podcast seem to have ended after the Season 2 finale of the Mandalorian. Hopefully they will come back once Disney releases more SW movies and shows.

LordTedfordThank you all for a wonderful podcastI’m listening to the (hopefully not) final episode of your podcast. It has been a fun ride, thank you for your hard work, your humor, and your passion. May the Force be with you.

cfgoodsonBright SunsThese three are truly one of the best, bright parts of my week and I’m very disheartened to hear they will be going on an indefinite hiatus. They have renewed a love of Star Wars for me after being totally disappointed with the fandom after last December. Many Boats to Matt, Caitlyn, and Brian. Y’all are the best.

OG Juan KenobiGoing to miss this podcastMy late husband was a huge Star Wars fan, and after he passed, I had nobody to talk Star Wars with, which was a big bonding experience for us. This podcast and its hosts kept me coming back and made me feel immersed in the world of the shows, the movies, the lore, the music, everything. Having this podcast helped me finish watching Clone Wars when I had avoided it because we didn’t finish together, and even Rebels, which we planned to watch after TCW. It helped to still live that connection to him even a year later. It sounds silly but the news of the podcast ending is devastating, as it was like having a place to go where I could keep that connection to my late husband with something we enjoyed together. I’m going to miss you guys and hope you’ll all come back soon. Yes, even Captain’s Corner. Thank you for helping me through the worst days of my life. This is the Way.

OT OG KimobiOT OG ❤️ JTPAs a fan since age 5 when I saw “Star Wars” in the theater in ’77, I’ve tried several Star Wars podcasts and this *is* the one I’m looking for! Brian, Caitlin, and Matt are knowledgeable, down-to-earth, hilarious and all around lovely people. Though I’ve been a Star Wars fan forever, my knowledge of the entire universe is not very deep. I really appreciate the explanations and connections they make to Canon and Legends without making me feel like an idiot. They have a great approach to Star Wars—they love it enough to make fun of it. I just love it and look forward to the pod every week. 12/17/20—On the eve of the final podcast (😢), I wish you health, happiness, light, boats, and that the Force will be with you. I have to believe that “no one’s ever really gone” and we’ll hear you again soon. 💚

jabba da pod fan4lifeGoing to miss you three powerful force-wielders!!!For over the past year I have been a faithful listener and am not one to write reviews of any kind; great experiences or terrible ones. However, for you guys I had to. I looked forward to the show every Friday. You all had a refreshing positive perspective on all things Star Wars, which is rare to find these days. Your love for Star Wars is unquestionable yet you don’t take it too seriously—you keep it fun. Which at the core of Star Wars is what it’s all about. The Star Wars fandom is a tough place to succeed and anything one does will be critiqued but in my opinion you guys are the best! Brian might get hate because all his antics but the dude is a blast and has a big heart of gold. Caitlin is special; it’s hard to find a woman in this industry who can deal w men every week but she does it elegantly. In addition, Matt brings so much fun and laughter to the show, while he maintains his finger on the pulse of the fandom. You all will be sorely missed and I hope we can hear you all again in the near future. Best wishes, Your fellow SW fan—EC

rogue in LABon VoyageI have a listen to other Star Wars podcasts and I find yours to be the most earworthy and on the others there is no voice like Caitlin so hopefully this is just a hiatus until the next season of the Mandalorian

DTB207Start Another PodcastThis is a great show that makes my household chores infinitely better. I appreciate the content and always looked forward to listening to you all. I have been waiting for some info on where to make financial contributions to your own podcast outside the SYFY domain. Time move forward independently. Hope to hear something soon. I’ll happily contribute just get something going.

MasBNiceLove the Starbinger crew.I love the show guys. I have been listening since spring and loved you guys since. I was very sad to hear that we only have one show left with you guys. I hope that changes! You guys are all awesome and I love listening in every week! May the force be with you.

jedi-dudeLove Jabba the PodI love this podcast and can not wait for it each week as new Star Wars content is released. I loved the countdown to the rise of Skywalker and each mandelorian episode is fantastic. I love hearing a group of funny and relatable fellow Star Wars fans talk about all of the cannon connections, especially relating clone wars, Rebels, and resistance to the movies and the mandelorian. I look forward to this podcast for the next seasons of clone wars and the mandelorian in 2020! Updated 12/12/2020: Going to miss the whole Jabba the Pod team. I hope one day y’all can come back and keep on sharing your love for Star Wars with your listeners (especially with the new Disney+ shows announced). I have connected with you three and each week it feels like I’m meeting back up with a group of fellow Star Wars friends and I am always excited to hear your thoughts and excitement after new reveals! Good luck on the road ahead, you are so talented and funny. I will miss you all! Podawan Mark signing off, may the force be with you all.

DeathWatchGenLove this gem of a showAs a new listener of this show I was deeply saddened by the episode I just listened to where you all reveal this show will be on an “indefinite hiatus”. I was skeptical to listen to any Star Wars podcasts due to the dark and judgmental vibe you get from most fans on any platforms, but when I listened to my first episode of this podcast I was surprised at the true positivity and brightness you all brought to the Star Wars universe and I found myself unable to contain my excitement for the next weeks episode. This was one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to, and I will await the news (if any) of the return of Jabba the pod as I go through and listen to all episodes of this podcast. You will all be missed and I just want to say thank you for everything that you all do and have done to brighten peoples days including, mine with your “family” banter. We will truly miss you and may the force be with you all!

The4thStoogeFor entertainment value, it’s a nice podcast. The shows content is a superior range all things Star Wars from movies, comics and video games. I started listening specifically for the weekly review of the Disney + show “The Mandalorian”. All three members of the podcast are entertaining and knowledgeable, however, Brian Silliman’s narration and interaction between his two co host are melancholy and condescending. The show’s chemistry among the trio feels forced with unnecessary sound effects and an hodgepodge approach to their storytelling and narration of episode events. It’s a shame! Matt Romano and Caitlin Busch are the refreshing with their role and really are the gems of the show.
-
Phy$hAny others can’t compareDeeply hope for a return once more content comes out.

Gronkey Kong 13The Baby Yoda of PodcastsConsistently amazing content, hosts, interviews, and a growing number of inside jokes for long time listeners. This is the first podcast I recommend to friends who want Star Wars content. This is the way.

Hannibbal RexJust getting to know youAs Mandalorin Season 2 began, I eagerly searched for a Podcast that would satisfy my post-episode cravings for serious and intellectual recap and discussion. Luckily for me, I found this show instead. The dynamic between the three unique hosts is always warm, free-flowing, and perfectly in sync. I completely appreciate the way they can balance their obvious love and deep knowledge of Star Wars with just the right amount of irreverence. Incredibly witty and laugh out loud funny, even their silly bits are quite enjoyable and mesh with the overall tone of the podcast. It was truly disappointing to hear the news of their imminent departure from the podstream, but I am grateful to have had you through this almost-perfect season of The Mandolorian (I don’t really think the Frog Lady/Spider episode really served much purpose unless the baby frogs Grugo swallowed come back in the finale in a significant way). I never thought that this little spin-off of Star Wars would come to reveal so much significant history that we’ve been waiting forty years for and having you there to share it with made me feel like a kid again. Thank you, and maybe you will be back. I mean, who would’ve thought we’d see Boba Fett again after the Sarlac Pit? Anyway, lots of luck with whatever you do next.

SDN Red 5This is the wayI was crushed to hear that this is coming to an end. I have so loved your banter and insights. Thank you for being a bright spot in a dark time. Thank you and May the Force be With You, Always.

The BrandalorianMay The Force Be With YouA refreshingly positive take on commentary about the Star Wars universe. It’s a shame that the show will be ending. I hope that the Force brings the three of you back together and we can get more great content from you. Thank you for your great work and dedication!
-
rynobile12Don't LeaveI hope we can support this show somehow, whether it becomes a patreon show or regular pod. This has enlightened me in so many ways, and opened my eyes to how great star wars is really becoming lately. With all of these new shoes coming out in the future, lets support the show, with the original cast, somehow!
-
Jae GabooBEST. POD. EVER.Unfortunately, SyFyWire has other designs. Perhaps NBC/Universal/Comcast/Peacock doesn’t really like promoting Disney IP, so they’ve probably got some crap of their own that they want to promote instead. Watch soon for the “ThisIsUs” podcast with Matt and Caitlyn while Brian hangs himself. (Seriously, Matt’s going to freeze Brian in Carbonite, then Caitlyn will deliver him to the Hutts.) #FreeBrianSilliman #JabbathePod4ever #BoycottAllNewSyFypodcastsin2021

Bish22Great showThis stinks that you guys are going away.... This is literally the only Star Wars podcast that I could find that I liked. Now I get to go and find some other goofball show to listen to.... sincerely upset fan.
-
maggieglaxbest podcast in the galaxyI truly think we underestimate how certain things can really change our lives. For me it was this podcast. 2020 has clearly been a rough year for everyone, but this podcast has been such a constant source of happiness for me. For months now, I have felt extremely connected with the hosts, and felt that I now truly had a place in the Star Wars fandom. Thank you to Brian, Caitlin, and Matt for all the joy they’ve given me for so long now, I believe that your positivity and excitement about all things Star Wars is what has gotten me through this year, and so much more. With all the hope in my heart, i hope that you will all get picked up again. If you have the chance to listen to this podcast, please do. All the love.

iPad gamerzzzA New HopeBrian, Matt and Caitlin bring a fresh upbeat review of Star Wars each week. I’ve been listening to this trio since the beginning and am amazed by their passion and nerdiness (in a good way!). Y’all will be MISSED. I mean where else can I get episode by episode recap of Clone Wars, Rebels, and the crazy impressions by Brian. I want y’all to regroup and come back ASAP. Love you!!
-
savanna with no HI’m gonna miss y’all so muchI’ve listened to this podcast since day one and it’s something that my dad shared with me and that I shared with my friends! We all loved this podcast! The death egg makes so much more sense now. I’m gonna love these next two episodes and I’m gonna finally watch rebels and then I can go back and listen to those episodes so it still feels like you guys are right there watching while I’m watching! I love and will deeply miss all of you!
-
RfusjeffGreat PodcastSuch a great show. Sad they will be leaving us, but really am enjoying it at the moment. I hope there is a future for this trio somewhere, somehow. Their positivity and perspectives on this favored universe has been both refreshing and special. Looking forward to the final two episodes!

Alabama Bronco SocietyStar Wars communityI am so heartbroken by this news. Admittedly, I had no idea your pod existed until recently, but I am so glad that I found it. It has been enjoyable to listen to and share in the passion for all things Star Wars that the three of you bring with each episode. May the Force be with you...

LRap71“Umm”This used to be one of my favorite Star Wars podcast, but the “ums” from Brian made it maddening to listen to. I had to shut it off once you got to the part in the most recent episode where Din calls the seeing stone “the magic rock”. Maybe I’ll check back next season to see if you’ve cleaned it up. I don’t remember this podcast having this problem last year. But, these last two weeks have been unlistenable. I get no pleasure from a bad review...sorry. Go back and listen to this week’s episode and see for yourself. Scores of “ums”, before I had to quit. Sadly yours, Larry in Chicago

HermeticgamerExcellent Star Wars Podcast- Talk About The TragedyI discovered this podcast when The Mandalorian came out. I initially thought it was decent but a little grating at moments but in the way that one friend you have that always goes overboard and you can only take in limited doses. But they grew on me and I really started to enjoy it more and look forward to hearing their take on things. It got even better with season 2 of The Mando. After the most recent episode entitled The Tragedy I was so in shock and blown away that I actually really HAD to hear what they had to say about it. I loved their take on the episode and it really felt like friends bantering with me about it...and then The Tragedy continued hearing they were getting canceled. I’m so sad to hear this and understand and wish them all well. I REALLY look forward to how they manage the last two episodes.

acrossalloceans“Soon will I rest, yes, forever sleep. Earned it I have”This is hands down my all time favorite podcast. I stumbled upon it and loved it from the start. To hear a show by fans who truly love Star Wars inside and out, and who celebrate everything relating to it in such a positive way is rare and what has made it so great. The knowledge of the Star Wars universe and the chemistry between Brian, Caitlin & Matt made me feel like I was back in my basement with my friends discussing every detail with a passion. It’s genuine and something I would always look forward to. Going to miss this show very very much.

DavidGale82Dank Ferric!I found Jabba the pod around episode 2 of season 2 of The Mandalorian. Every since then I have loved every second of this podcast. Firstly I love the fact that they don't take themselves to seriously. The 3 host understand that Star Wars is meant to be fun and that really shows. I wish I had found this podcast sooner! I have an hour and a half commute and listening to this podcast helps make my commute far more tolerable. Listening to the most recent episode I was quite surprised and saddened however ( I won't spoil it you have to listen). May the Force be with you all!
-
Goonersaurus 72News of the endI just heard the most recent episode and your announcement. I only found your podcast a month or so before the start of Mando season 2, but have binge listened to almost every episode since you started. Your lead up to “Rise of Skywalker” was awesome. I know you three will all land on your feet, and I look forward to finding you all again, but this show will be missed. The three of you really work off each other well. Thank you.
-
DracoDavario34The BEST Star Wars Podcast out thereI’ve been listening since day one of Jabba the Pod and it took me a minute or two to get on board with the silliness but all the sudden, I was hooked. I have always loved Star Wars ever since I was a little kid and this show made me feel like that again. I love all the things about this show. The jokes, the theories, the little arguments, the hosts. Its ALL amazing. It’s really sad to see them go, but I hope that one just maybe that it will come back. I feel like I am friends with the hosts even though I have never met them. This show will be missed.

Goheels92It's Time For Some Real Talk :)I am adding to this review I wrote back in April. I just listened to last Friday's episode and heard what Captain Matt had to say. I will miss this podcast so very much, and want to thank each an every one of you for all that you have done. You have helped me get through this pandemic on my long walks, runs and bike rides. You will be greatly missied! - original review starts here...I love, love, love this Star Wars Podcast. Brian, Caitlin and Matt are awesome, and I enjoy all the different view points. As I am one of those people who in the summer of 1977 saw The I am addingNew Hope four times in the theater, I delight in all things Star Wars (and judge not). I loved the episodes on The Mandalorian (and I LOVE all things Yoda Baby), and all the recaps of the movies leading up to The Rise of Skywalker. This podcast got me into The Clone Wars(Ahsoka is my fav) and I am now all caught up. Also, really enjoyed the bonus episodes. I am excited for the last story arc, and will be sad to see the end of The Clone Wars. But then... on to Rebels. Best Star Wars podcast ever!!! Keep em coming!

Nattyclats2Keep the spark alive!!! My absolute favorite podcast! This is hands down my favorite podcast to listen to. Bar none. There have been multiple times I’ve been inspired to write a review, but hearing it was going to be cancelled put me over the edge. Brian, Caitlin and Matt have created something special in this podcast that is just as much “lightning in a bottle” as Yoda Baby (Grogu) is. They feel like friends, dare I say even family, because of how much they have invited all of us into their little world on the Starbinger, along with Wires and Mmbop ;) After finding this show a few months ago I literally binged every episode within a few weeks and now I look forward to new episodes nearly just as much as I look forward to the new Mandalorian episodes because I can’t wait to hear what they’re going to say, jokes they’re going to make, and also just because I enjoy their banter and friendship. I love how they dance along the like between fiction and reality, living in this world but having an underlying narrative in the SW universe. I’ve tried listening to other SW shows to tide myself over in between episodes, but its just not the same because what makes this show great (and head and shoulders above the rest) is BRIAN, CAITLIN and MATT. Their authenticity, humor, heart and joy for Star Wars is merely just an extension of all of those qualities being a part of who they each are in the real world. And we can all feel the love! I don’t know how they managed to create the perfect combination of personalities between the three of them. Its like a mini sitcom cast, and i mean that in the best way! Matt’s joy and passion is infectious and I love his passion for Dash Rendar and await his Captain’s Corner scream in each episode. I STILL laugh out loud even though I know its coming! Not to mention that “Boats and Jedi” remix had me DYING every single time you played it! (BTW, Shadows of the Empire was one of my favorite novels as a kid!) Caitlin is the perfect foil to both Brian and Matt. She’s like the level-headed middle child peacemaker sister of the group and has such an enduring love for The Child, it’s fantastic. Keep those “Word of the Weeks” coming! Brian is everything that a Star Wars fan/podcast host should be and more. He’s got the voice, the knowledge, the nerdiness, the class, the professional chops, and the heart. Beyond being hilarious, the moments that have stood out to me the most have been when he gets real and genuine and speaks from the heart, whether that’s defending his co-hosts honor, speaking passionately about the state of the world, or encouraging those who are in a dark place that there is light to be found still. — Love that level of realness. “The night is always darkest before the dawn” I didn’t want to believe it when they announced the cancellation, and I still said “NO!” when they said it out loud. I sincerely hope that they have the opportunity to come back and keep this community alive. It would be an absolute shame if this were the end of the line. If this is in fact the end of Jabba The Pod, then I want to say THANK YOU to the entire team for bringing me so much joy, laughter, and wonder this year and for reminding me why I love Star Wars so much. May the Force be with you, and... BUILD THE BABY! THEY FLY NOW! MANY BOATS! BE THE SPARK! — N

Jc85050May The Force Be With YouLove Brian, Caitlin M, and the Captain of the crew Matt Romano!! Every week I anxiously tuned in to hear their great recaps, insight, fan enthusiasm, and hilarious banter about all things Star Wars (and Rome). I sincerely hope that they can find a way to continue the podcast. COVID has taken enough away from us this year!! In any case; moving forward without The Starbinger and its crew will be like riding on a space whale with no windows.....it’s probably gonna kill me, but I may end up meeting a blue skinned guy and a Jedi along the way. You will be missed.

Papas808OMID is HOPEStar Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope was the first movie I saw as a kid in ‘77 and I’ve been a die hard fan ever since! I really enjoyed all of your episodes. You guys did a fantastic job with the podcast and I know you’ll be back with something else for us soon! Much love for you all, Omid (which is actually pronounced OMEEED). Funny thing, Omid is the word for HOPE in Farsi. Very fitting for my name to mean Hope and have such a love for Star Wars and what it’s all about! I OMID to hear from you soon!!!!!
