new format

i am very disappointed that crooked media changed the format and dropped all of the over host and stuck with dry host. the former host use to keep this show alive and gave it zest and now it’s just like someone made a really dry chicken. i truly think this was a mistake because the trying to be the daily is a big misstep. the old format had this show stand out and now it’s trash. i stopped listening for months and i tried again and honestly this was a mistake. i’ll listen to other crooked podcast but this one is in the garbage disposal!

Ugh. I am mixed on this show. I like the quick news and really like the current host, but why bring on guests like Josh Barro? Disappointing and infuriating. Trying to emulate the NYT?

You had the courage to take down Biden but bring on Josh Barro for a flimsy analysis on Schumer? It's less about the shutdown than all of the "someday republicans will come around" naïveté that the democrats have been banking on for 10 years! Schumer's not able to state the case, fight, or unify the caucus. He had a book tour planned for the middle of a constitutional crisis! Feels like Pod Save has been going Republican lite lately. I am on the verge of canceling.

Do better

Used to listen for news updates but you just brought on Matt Yglesias, in 2025, for political advice. This is a disservice to your cause, for any hope of Dems ever winning, and for hope in a better world. He’s been consistently wrong about EVERYTHING, and treating him as sage will ensure democrats continue to lose. Do better.

Great but kill bkgrnd music

Jane is great; really love her interview style. But dear god please stop playing background music when she's speaking. It's so distracting and I have to fast forward through the newscap segment bc it's so annoying. Content-wise though, great show!

Awful changes - need new producers

Jane sounds like she’s reading from a script and her unfunny, “trying to be sarcastic” wit just really isn’t landing the way she wants it to. Please get her a cohost otherwise this podcast is getting unbearable to listen or watch.

I’ve listened to WAD since day 1 and always appreciated and enjoyed it. Love Jane! She adds both a professionalism and the ability to sound as though she’s speaking directly to me in this discouraging and difficult time. She makes you feel you’re not alone. The episode after the ‘24 election was amazing. Her LA fire coverage has been phenomenal, in spite of it hitting literally in her backyard.

I can sit through the never ending liberal hysterics, because I know that’s how these people keep the lights on, but the news round-up where she reads off bootleg popsicle stick jokes is genuinely painful to listen to. I feel sorry for the libs that have to pretend to enjoy this.

The spark is gone

I’ve been listening since the show launched, and unfortunately the new format made me tune out. No shade to Jane, she’s a great host, but what is missing is the chemistry. The news is often a bummer, but the two-host format and silly and lighthearted segments made it easier to digest. Now it feels like all bummer, all the time. Please bring back the old format.
