    Voices heard
As someone who lives in Texas I very much appreciate this podcast for giving insight into southern LGBT life. It shows the nuances of being LGBT and loving (and hating) home in the south, which a lot of popular media misses. It's nice to know others like us are, well, out here.

    Heartfelt and Educational
If you want to broaden your horizons or further educate yourself on the LGBTQ community, this is a great podcast for you. Justin has a way of getting to know these people in a way I would want to and asks thorough, thought-provoking questions. In addition, the range of people interviewed covers all types of people which is enjoyable to listen to!

Finally a podcast for the rest of us!
Okay, I may not be from the south but I am from a very small town and through listening to these podcasts I feel like I fit in! These podcasts are great because they show what life is like for those of us Lgbtqi people in small towns not only in the south but across America. Thank you to the podcast producers and of course the delightful host of Out Here in America for your courage and for being visible. Visibility is crucial to our community and our wellbeing. Congrats on a really great show!

    Love the insightful perspective
Very well produced podcast with a sensitive and intelligent host. Gives this Californian hope that maybe other parts of the USA are evolving and are able to have a dialog on the issues of LGBTQ joys and struggles.

    Poor dialogue
The host is obviously reading from a script a lot of the time. His opening monologues are drawn and annoying to listen to. Podcasts are for people who want to be spoken to, so speak to us, have a conversation – don't try to act out what you've obviously written down.

    Great podcast
Really enjoying this new podcast. Well-produced and liked the first couple interviews I've heard. I'm from MI so not very familiar with life in the south and this podcast provides an interesting perspective. Also, I'm grateful for an LGBT-specific podcast. Would love to hear Robin Roberts interviewed!

    So well done!
This is amazing! Please keep up the work. Would love to know the ways to support this project. I grew up in Jackson, and it's amazing how Mississippi has a weird draw to it even with its messed up history. This also so professionally made. Keep up the good work!

    The South Needs a Voice
So excited and proud to call south MS home, despite my liberal views. I am so grateful to and proud of Justin for giving LGBTQ folks in this area a voice. Can't wait to hear these amazing stories.

    Amazing
it's about time we have something to show that not all mississippians are close minded and staunchly conservative!
