A breath of fresh air. Just stumbled upon this today and I’m very impressed with the taste and quality of music. I’ve never heard any of this stuff! Wow

I’ve yet to find any other radio show, podcast, playlist or streaming algorithm that does as well capturing the spirit of the thing. Independent Music Podcast is not limited by genre (far from it) or any other classification. Rather, it is a weekly deep dive into brand new music that just has “it”. Strongly recommended.

Totally smashing pod. Gareth & Anthony are terrific and their selections are endlessly surprising and fascinating. Hardly a better place to dig up tunes from the outer reaches of the music-making world - six stars out of five!!

I was craving new types of music but having difficulty finding any artists that I liked. Then I stumbled on this gem of a podcast! I am a fan of this show because they have great taste and play a very broad variety of sounds. If you're like me and searching for something other than pop music, these guys do all the hard work for you.

You can’t get that range of musical genres anywhere else. The closest podcast to IMP in terms of sheer range was the infamous Bleep Podcast and they no longer issue proper numbered podcasts. But in my opinion IMP is much better than Bleep ever was. Hosts Gareth and Anthony understand how and why all that far reaching music fits together. This podcast made me realize that there are others in the world who share my own musical tastes and range of interest. At just over the 200 episode mark, the collection of tracks they’ve played has easily become an online treasure. We can only hope they keep it up for the foreseeable future. In the mean time rest assured they will keep on digging. Thanks guys- we are listening.
