    WORST. LEFTOVERS. PODCAST.
Do yourself a favor and SWITCH to PostShow Recaps, Baldmove, or Sudden Departure if you want to hear an INTELLIGENT ‘Leftovers’ discussion. AfterBuzz has a FEW decent shows—BUT ‘Leftovers’ is NOT one of 'em. TO BE SPECIFIC: Roxy Striar is often GRATING, as her personal biases tend to get in the way of her understanding the motives of certain characters. Kelly McInerney struggles to ARTICULATE almost everything (and when she does start talking, it sounds like she's watching a totally DIFFERENT show). Steve Kaufmann offers some of the most awkward, LAZIEST analysis I've ever heard. And Zach Wilson… I can tell the dude is doing his best as a host—but it's tough to steer a ship full of blatherskites.

    Spectacularly beside the point
The ability of this show's hosts to blab about the least interesting and most beside-the-point aspects of one of tv's best shows is truly astounding.

    Favorite Afterbuzz
This is my favorite Afterbuzz show! Great analysis. Love this group!

Not bad, worth listening if you love The Leftovers
I'm not big on nerdy enthusiasm. It's played out these days. I also don't like shows with multiple (4 or more) people, especially when they sometimes shout over one another. With that being said, I enjoyed the conversation and had a few laughs. Unless you're Bald Move, I can't ask for much more.

Not a good podcast for this type of show
No offense to the hosts I think they try to do the best they can in the 40 min they have to recap an episode but that doesn't work for this type of show. This show demands re-watching it in order to understand it. Podcastica, Bald Move and LSG Media do a better job recapping this type of show.

    Go elsewhere (Season 2 review)
Their predictions, theories and comprehension of this show are pretty bad. Especially the woman. Lots of observations that will make you go "No duh.." and "Um no.." Sorry. Go elsewhere.

    To many spoilers.
The discussion is nice but they talk about the previews for the next episode and even go as far as looking up on the IMDB to see if a actor is listed on future episodes and then spoil the show by saying those people will not be coming back and have "departed".

Great podcast, looking forward to the new season
Great group of reviewers and love listening to them after binging the season again. You guys give some awesome insight and great predictions. But in regards to that one guy, we get it. You know that city. Referencing that every episode got tiresome very quick. Not gonna lie, glad they're moving to Texas. Love the podcast nonetheless

    Entertaining.
These recaps are filling the void until The Leftovers return!

Love it and can't wait for next year
These hosts are really pretty awesome. Thanks for making me laugh and not feel bad about obsessing over Justin Theroux ^__^ can't wait to listen to you next year for season two!

    Great podcast!
My wife and I LOVE listening to your podcast every week after our new favorite show! You never fail to give us great insight on what has been an entertaining yet confusing season 1. We have found ourselves rewatching episodes after listening to you to pick up what we missed the first time around. The chemistry of the hosts is perfect and the show flows seamlessly from start to finish. Keep up the great work, can’t wait for season 2 and the recaps that follow!!

    Well, Surprise Surprise Surprise
When I listened to the first podcast, I knew this show and the aftershow would be a disaster. I kept listening week after week and groaned in disgust with each crazy theory or misinterpretation of some biblical principle they were trying to tie into the show. BUT...as the show began to turn the corner so the aftershow. The hosts started to offer greater insight to the characters and storylines. The flow of the show began to become smoother. I even started to respond to their Youtube version of the show. Now, I'm equally excited for both shows and now that there will be a season 2, I know that I'll have a great experience coming my way next year. Awesome job this season and I can wait til next season!

    Great Podcast!
This is one of a dozen or so of the AfterBuzz Podcasts I listen to. Listening to the hosts is like sitting in a room with your friends talking about the show you all clear your schedules for and then chat and gossip about. Though The Leftovers is a heavy program, I enjoy that the commentary is both insightful and at times light hearted. I definitely look forward to more with Season 2 next year!

    Needs a nerd
Afterbuzz should stick to reality shows. These 3 hosts miss the biggest "clues" or show hints!! If you want an in depth review with brains and humor check out bald move's site and podcasts. Please cast smarter people or view the show twice!

    Great recap and perspective!
Afterbuzz recap shows like this are great for two reasons. One, they are well produced and have good hosts so it keeps you engaged and not distracted by crappy recording and boring content. Two, because they give you new views on shows by people who are really excited about them and can conjure an intelligent thought. Thanks Afterbuzz.

    Great Show, Great Ideas
Zach Wilson rocks this podcast. I love his insiteful predictions.

    Sorry...but...
I usually like the afterbuzz shows since they publish a little quicker than other podcasts, but truthfully this one I'm going to start passing on. They jump all over the place and are pretty disorganized. They have likable personalities and when they're not obsessing about Justin Theroux's body, the banter can be ok, but they also miss way too many clues in the show, and this ends up taking them down paths that ultimatley miss the mark. It just doesn't go as deep as this type of show warrants..

    You guys are AWESOME
I LOVE listening to you guys. I listen to your podcast every week right after I watch the show. Breaking down the episodes is so important with a show like this. I love THE LEFTOVERS and I love your analysis of the show. You guys are right on. Thank you!!

    "Gladys"
I loved Patti this episode. The death of Gladys gave me a reason to care about Patti. To me Gladys and Patti were good friends—and Patti not only lost a follower but a friend. When the GR went looking for her Patti stopped before she got too close and Lori walked ahead to find her body. I also saw Patti taking Lori for the break it was more for Patti than it was for Lori—which is why she lost it during their all day breakfast. Side note: Did Vitello know what would happen when he made that call? any who I enjoy the show, can’t wait until next week.

    Good theories & insights
Always enjoy the podcasts Zach hosts. Seems like he usually brings more information to the show than just the recap. The Leftovers is definitely a show that is much more fun with discussion

    Leftovers After Buzz
I really enjoy this podcast. "The Leftovers" is a series that lends itself to lots of discussion. I look forward to listening after each episode of the show!

    Here To Stay...For Now!
I usually get all of my 'casts thru YouTube, but since it's so important for you guys to get ratings and reviews from iTunes, I decided to come and help y'all out. To be perfectly honest, when I started this show, my POV was the same as it was for the Afterbuzz show...It felt just a little too "LOST-y" at first, (LOST lost ME after Season Two, just to explain.) But you guys are good - you kept me as interested as the show did, and I got TOTALLY roped in by the end of Episode Three. I hope the producers do the same kind of job you guys are doing!

Great podcast with, unfortunately, one weak link...
Afterbuzz TV is one of the better podcasts out there, and I listen to a few of their podcasts for several shows, but they unfortunately have one weak link. There's a lot of great insight here from Zach, Alana, and Stephaune, who are really enjoyable to listen to and provide interesting content and dialogue, but unfortunately, the fourth podcaster, Kelly, isn't as insightful or observant, and her comments more often than not detract from the dialogue. I'm sure she's probably a lovely person, but on the podcast, she often misremembers things, and the others end up correcting her, or she states something completely obvious or doesn't listen to what's being said. She also goes off track a lot, and it's distracting. I think the other three podcasters can carry this podcast without her, and I think it would be a lot more enjoyable if they did.

    Cool
I like a lot of the Afterbuzz shows. Good to see you guys reviewing the Leftovers. I predict now—someone mark the date—that we will never get the big reveal of what actually happened to the people who disappeared. That would make the show too much of a genre show: aliens, a wormhole, etc. The writer, Mark Perotta (sp) is a literary fiction writer, and I think that giving “an answer” to the event would be considered too pat. It’s more about What Happens After, in my opinion. Can I ask you guys to please watch the Spoilers? One of your hosts told us what GR stood for and I’d rather learn that through the show. I think she worked on the marketing campaign for HBO. Anyway, glad to see you’re reviewing the show.

    Much better podcasts beyond
I have listned to many podcasts, including a few from afterbuzztv and this doesn't hit the mark. It's something, but not much substance, mostly just a quick recap. Halt and Catch Fire is a much better podcast.

    Good podcast - terrible intro
I’ve listened to a few different AfterBuzz podcasts and I like their format and people. However, the first 50 seconds of intro “music” is so annoying its almost hard to get to the good stuff. Is that music? It sounds more like being stuck between two AM stations.
  • Badbrad2
    Well Done
It's great to get a few more opinions on a show that makes you think as much as "The Leftovers" does.
