Bald Move used to bring something to the table other than criticism. They used to work harder at looking up references they didn’t understand or background information that would provide a better understanding of the material. Now it just seems like they hit record and blast away. Cecily seems to approach AHS with the right perspective but gets overrode by ARon’s cynicism.

I listen because there are such few AHS podcasts out there, but sometimes A. Ron’s arrogance is so suffocating I can’t finish the episode. I like Cecily and she’s the only thing that makes it worth a listen. It’s not really insightful but I guess it’s fine if you’ve got nothing else.

This may be the only AHS I can stand to listen to. ARon and Cecily even when they don’t like an episode have a fun time with the shenanigans that occur (or honest criticism). I look forward every week to this dropping as it is a great companion to the show.

American Horror Story is a weird show. It's at times inspired & great, but also has a habit of falling apart every season. Hosts A. Ron & Cecily recognize this as a feature, not a bug. They point out when the show is working, being camp & clever, or intriguing & scary, but they also delight when characters fall through the cracks & storylines implode. They're true fans honestly critiquing and having fun.

The hosts have good chemistry and sometimes play off each other really well. I’ve given it two chances now but the major turn off was all the misinformation displayed by the hosts. Things like thinking major character deaths didn’t happen, or even mixing up characters on episodes that they just recently watched. One of the hosts even admitted that she doesn’t really watch the show but rather watches the “highlights version” I know Bald move does a ton of podcasts and maybe this is the last on their mind but I think somethings need to change for this to be enjoyable. Unsubscribing for now.

They don’t know the facts and try to talk about other seasons with getting all the information incorrect. I’m a huge fan but only when you give correct facts. He also compared micheal to avatar the last air bender and that was the straw that broke the camels back. They definitely need to do more research before talking about these things.

Not only is it a great conversation for each AHS episode but A. Ron kills a JPM impression. I love Cecily’s insight to the show and the work she puts in to convince A Ron of her theories!

I literally watch shows I wasn’t planning on just to listen to the guys at Bald Move. This show I watched anyway so gave it a listen. To me, I enjoy it even more. Maybe because I’m a female I appreciate Cecily’s take, but I really think it’s the chemistry between the hosts and the way they seem to have fun making these podcasts together. I recommend this wholeheartedly, I now wouldn’t watch the show without it!!

I don’t understand why two people, who seemingly know nothing about this show, have decided to make a podcast. Even though they watched season one and two, the hosts have come up with completely asinine conclusions regarding season 8. I couldn’t even bare to finish half of the first episode of this current season.

Cecily, you’re great. Thank you for your optimism and hope for this show, which has a cult following and is wildly popular amongst the intended demographics. I listen to this podcast for you. A.Ron, come on man. Why do you have to be so cynical? Every time I listen to an episode review, it just seems like the show is being crapped on by you. Not a fan of the immediate judgement and putting down of the show. It’s really disappointing.

I tried to listen but the 2 hosts are 2 liberals themselves, often being hypocritical and stereotyping conservatives.

I don’t even watch some of the shows the cast covers, I just enjoy listening to Jim and A Ron.

Cecily sounds like she's drowning when she speaks. She never has an original thought is very uninformed on the subject material. She uses this platform to show dominance over her husband.

My fav part of watching AHS every week is knowing I can tune into this podcast later in the week and hear A.Ron and Cecilly break it down. It’s more satisfying than the show. Love love love. What will I do when the season is over?! I don’t know! I’ll have to check out the other Bald Move podcasts.

AHS can be terrible but A.Ron and Cecily are amazing to listen to and make AHS worth watching.

This is the typical Bald move podcast with Aaron. Cecile is the best part of the podcast. Aaron I feel is more of a critic than a fan, if that is your thing you’ll probably find it entertaining. I personally listen to TV podcasts because I’m a fan of the show and want to hear people discuss it and talk about things more in depth or go over things I might have missed. Aaron misses a ridiculous amount of stuff, probably because he’s too worried about critiquing something else that just happened. I find their podcasts entertaining when they enjoy watching the show, if they don’t like it it’s usually obvious within a few minutes and I skip that one.

I love the show you guys are great hosts. Cecily you have the prettiest voice over ever heard on a podcast!! (Not trying to be creepy) Although I do think you guys and other listeners are a little harsh with Ally. Honestly if half the stuff that is happening to her happened to me I’d be going crazy too. Just saying. Other than that love the show look forward to it every week and miss you guys when the season is over!!

I was hoping for more insight on episodes. This is more guesses. Less in-depth analysis and more weird rambling.

It basically more entertaining than the wacky stuff that happens in the show. When listen I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who is confused and not sure what the deal is. Best podcasting group and this shows no different.

I love bald move and A. Rons other podcasts especially the game of thrones one. And to be completely honest I thought I was going to HATE this because A.ron and Jim have a lovely chemistry and there's nothing I dislike more then someone bringing their significant other into a good thing and ruining it. BUT. Cecily is Fantastic. I love her and need her to be in more bald move podcasts. She's funny and insightful. She has a vocal fryless voice. And she and Aron are obviously together for a reason. They seem great together. Brava.

Been watching AHS from the beginning and decided to try this podcast out, but I could only make it through 4 episodes. I like what A Ron does on the GoT podcast, but that's probably because he has a good co-host there to play off of. Cecily on here is really boring and doesn't add much to the mix, it's mostly A Ron recapping and trying to get Cecily to talk, but most of the time she's like, "I have nothing" and A Ron has to awkwardly move along and pretend to be enthusiastic. They're also quite a bit negative about the show, which is no fun to listen to when you enjoy the show like I do.

Incredible entertaining duo and great recaps with fun feedback. Both hubby and wife are a joy to listen to.

I thought I was going to like this podcast. I enjoy the banter between the hosts. But I cannot subject myself to this any longer. It seems that this podcast is made for people who also do not like AHS yet want to hate-listen to hour long podcasts about it. I am not surprised that A.Ron is not optimistic about the direction the current season is going, considering that he has not even seen the first two seasons, which many consider to be the best seasons of the series! Learn from my mistake. Don't waste your time. I will never get those four hours of my life back…

Just like the title says- this is the perfect way to enjoy the how AHS. Neither of the hosts take themselves or the show too seriously- which is the perfect viewpoint to have with this ridiculous show. I didn’t know that AHS podcasts existed and only sought this out after obsessing over the Game of Thrones Bald Move coverage earlier this year. This is a very welcome pod that pokes fun at a very ridiculous show. I look forward to this pod every week for some good laughs and explanations of things I miss. Keep up the great work!!

This is a terrific podcast delivered with wit, balance, good analysis, and heart. The hosts ramble occasionally but that’s only reflective of the show it covers! Definitely a must for fans of AHS.

I find it funny that the one bad review I have seen seems to completely be unaware of who A.Ron and what a bald move podcast is. TWD is basically hate watched. And this show isn’t one that is like to require notes. Read the description. The show doesn’t take itself seriously and neither do they. It’s a fun little side project. It baffles me, utterly baffles me, that someone would request that they stop doing this podcast because they disagree with how it is presented, instead of simply ignoring it. The amount of narcissism from that negative reviewer is absolutely ridiculous. Sure share you thoughts, you don’t like it fine. But a large majority do like it. Just cause you don’t get it, you want them to not produce it. Absolutely unreal. Keep up the great work A.Ron. Literally watch shows just to hear your take on it (and jim - Cecily is great too this is my first pod I have heard her in) Been a bald move fan since Mad Brew was doing the podcast for GoT. Chose to watch leftovers cause you guys covered, chose to watch AHS cause you guys are covering it. I was actually really concerned you guys may interject your political beliefs into this too much, of which I mostly happen to disagree with you on (respectfully) but I was happy to see you guys ignore focusing on the politics and just do a fun pod. GREAT work, and a WELL DESCRIBED podcast.

About 80-percent of the enjoyment I get from watching American Horror Story is from knowing I get to hear A.Ron and Cecily's take on it. This is a fun podcast with the sort of musing you would have with friends or family (if they watched AHS). I love their reactions and takes on the action!

Easily the best show they are covering currently. This blows all the other show coverage out of the water except they don't like it. This show is way better than Westworld the dumpster fire.

I used to listen to this pod until today. I'm done. Sometimes they have the details so incorrect I wonder if they actually watched the episode. A.Ron if you don't like the show stop podcasting about it. I think we will all survive if you decide to do one less pod. I learn literally nothing after listening to this, at least the annoying after buzz people pop some "little known" facts in. Add some research in, maybe take some notes? I can't continue to correct them in my head, makes the podcast completely useless. I listen to these things to gain some knowledge on the show, hear some thought out critiques -not whatever this is.

These guys are simply the best. I love their coverage and analysis of some of the best shows on TV. They do a great job of recapping the episodes and are very informational about news and theories involving each show they cover. This is a must listen.

This was one of the first podcasts I ever listened to and I'm so glad I found it two years ago! The banter between A.Ron and Cecily is top notch and incredibly entertaining!

The funniest! The characterizations make me hurt -especially JP's voice impressions, plus Alex's face descriptions make the day. The (dry) explanations of vampire technology and machinations = priceless ! Thank You. I owe you Big Time.

These two really breakdown the show well and have good insight. They take listener mail seriously and discuss the listeners opinions. Hope they do some more shows.

Listening to A.Ron and Cecily is break down AHS is just as good as the show, sometimes better. From insightful detail to just common interpretation this podcast is a must listen to for people that want to hear discussion on their favorite show

I listen to pretty much all of Bald Move's podcasts and this is the first time I've heard Cecily as a reviewer. I love her style. I love the way she asks questions that are purely speculative. It's definitely fun and I think adds depth. She's also catching literary references and making real connections as well. I'll be listening to all of these American Horror Story podcasts.

At one point caster states he has not seen the first two seasons. If you like American Horror Story do not listen to this.

Great podcast

I love the combo of A-Ron and cecily together, dont get me wrong I still love Aron and Jim but Jim doesnt do sassy quite as well as Cecily. Anyways this is a great podcast to listen to if youre a fan of AHS - at this point the main motivator for me still watching it, the way there able to disect the epi make it fun, and actually provided a lot of info about the show you wouldnt normally know. So thats it, listen to this podcast unless you just have no taste.
