Well it took a while to finally watch the show but I am so glad I have this podcast to listen to as I watched. I love these guys and they never do me wrong on suggestions and debate. It’s like the water cooler at work. Thanks boys.

“Aging, dubutante, socialite is about as lightweight as you can get” - A.Ron re: Tilly nice… These two guys are THE BEST I’ve heard and I’ve heard many. They consistently capture the gravitas of huge moments in shows, why powerful people make decisions they do, the burden of leadership, and everything we love about these shows…they hit it all with humor but most of all intelligence. They also turn me on to amazing shows…like The Expanse!

Love Bald Move. Especially when they cover a great show like this that doesn’t really have a lot of other podcasts. Hey guys, please consider covering S1 & 2 so we can have a full show whenever I do a rewatch.

Wish I'd started listening back at the beginning of Season 3 of The Expanse. I found this podcast right after the Season 6 Finale in a desperate attempt to re-hash such a good show. Jim and Aron are expressive and don't hold back which makes for a fun ride. Excellent grasp of how to offer criticism and express enjoyment of solid science fiction and character writing.

DO NOT listen to this if you are at all an Expanse fan. The one guy does nothing but complain about - literally - every scene, yet says he loves the show. He’s the classic know-it-all who always has an opinion of how he could’ve done it better. And, true to that form, many of the takes just simply miss the point or completely mis-understood something. Criticism is fine but with a show as good as the Expanse it can’t be constant.

Comprehensive and fun podcast covering a fantastic show! Great job guys!

Just found this show and Bald Move like always, is bringing it!

The host have a catch phrase, “mildly interesting“. It’s intended as tongue in cheek but it’s often abused and used like the phrase, “you’re getting warmer“. I don’t think it’s intentional, but I don’t see how after all these years and so many podcasts I can’t be aware that they’re doing it. What can be very aggravating is when they occasionally drop a spoiler from unrelated media like a movie or another show just in passing.

If you like Baldmove, you’ll like this.

Another exceptional Baldmove podcast. Wouldn’t think of watching a show this good without an equally good companion podcast. Always great to hear Jim and A-Ron’s voices and even better when talking about the expanse. They’re book readers and show watchers so the analysis is well researched. I highly recommend them for all of the many shows they cover. Also consider joining their club for ad-free pods with extra value added content.

Just spent all the time on my hands social distancing binge watching seasons 1-4 of The Expanse. Wish I had discovered this podcast as soon as I started Season 1. Awesome in depth analysis of the plot, themes, characters and performances.

The Bald Move guys provide great recaps making cool connections between the episodes. Really adds depth to a complex show.

Like like like like. How can you take seriously two guys who speak like 11 year old girls. Stupid ones. Hey look, I used like correctly in a sentence!

Can’t say enough about how much I loved this season. Moved at 100 mph felt super short because it was sooooo good. Can’t wait for season five and hope they switch to a weekly format. Come with the coverage already we need you guys happy holidays fellas.

It’s sad that the season dropped all at once, but always nice to have more Expanse. Can’t wait til this show gets the love it deserves!

Love these guys and trust their coverage completely, so even though I’m not the biggest sci fi fan, they mentioned The Expanse in passing enough on other podcasts that I finally broke down and started watching this show. Thank God I did - it is SO good. I've basically lost a week of my life to this show so far and I'm starting the books, and the Bald Move commentary only heightens the experience. Keep it up, guys!

Would love to have one or two more episodes for the season while I’m about halfway through and loving so far.

This show hasn’t peaked yet, nevermind the format (season drop) .. please just do em like the leftovers. I give 0 f that nobody watches this YET.

These guys are good talkers

Some of the things questioned in the pod are clearly represented in the show and Jim and Aron don’t pick up on it. I find myself yelling at the pod cast when this happens. Case in point episode two they we’re wondering where all the the plants came from and at the beginning of the seen there is the galley table broken and plans that have been under the glass top of the table since season one are Half missing. It drives me crazy

Longtime Bald Move listener who (finally!) started watching “The Expanse” because of Jim and A-Ron’s consistent raves for the show on their other podcasts, and I haven’t been disappointed by the show or this podcast! Similar to their Game of Thrones podcast, each podcast episode consists of a recap that lets the hosts’ comment/riff/question parts of show then followed by listener feedback. Also similar to their Game of Thrones podcast (and their now-defunct TWD cast), one host has read the source material and the other has not, a format that allows for an entertaining dynamic. I don’t care about spoilers but please note that the hosts take a lot of care to *not* spoil the show with book knowledge. Anyways, their enthusiasm about the show is why I started watching “The Expanse” and their enthusiasm about the show is why I keep listening. Great job!

I watched season 1 & 2 of this show after Jim and Aaron recommended so highly. It’s hot trash, but I’ll follow these two anywhere I guess!!

The only thing that bothered me in all the episodes I heard (all of them) was mispronouncing Behemoth. If everyone on the show is saying “Be-HEE-moth”, then it is pronounced “Be-HEE-moth”. That’s simple, and so is saying the word correctly after agreeing to that concept.

Awesome podcast with Jim and A.Ron. I stumbled into this after listening to Game of Thrones and then starting to watch The Expanse. Their analysis is on point and I’m even getting into the books based on their analysis. Sometimes their engineering knowledge is off, but their overall assessment captured the moment. 10% nerd culture critical because they feel they have to be and 90% fan boys of sci-fi. Overall, a great podcast with your time.

I heard about this TV show when Jim and A.Ron recommended on their other pod cast and now I’m hooked. I love their analysis and recaps.

The only podcast I need for this show. Watched the first two seasons in isolation trying to sell it to everyone I know, so the heavens opened up when I saw that it would finally get the A.Ron and Jim treatment. Thank you both for delivering professional quality, intelligent, enjoyable podcasts to us every week!

Obviously anyone who follows these all too common entitled podcaster types know they are just money beggars for the club yet don't even pick good shows. The Expanse is just awful like all space shows. They just skipped the guaranteed Emmy winner The Americans for this because a few years ago they had a problem keeping up with intellectual style of the show and always go for the tin foil comic style or fake silly content. I just have a big problem with these kinds of ramble tangent sideways talkers with no life experiences to add to the conversation in any useful way. They are cult members who claim they quit but lack the common sense of normalcy.

Thinking mans/persons podcasters. Just LOVE that they’re into The Expanse, and really appreciate their exposure during the 2 weeks the show was looking for a home. Always providing fun, insightful dialogue, consistent with their other 5-Star podcasts (Watching Westworld, Game of Thrones, Leftovers). These are for sure the go-to casts. Keep up the great work!

As much as I enjoy the guys hate watching other shows, it is AMAZING to hear them recap and speculate on a show you can tell they both LOVE. Hearing A.Ron longingly talk about watching the next screener, only waiting so he can watch it with his wife (because he promised to wait!) made me realize how much these two are into the show. Consider this podcast a companion piece to the show, NO SPOILERS or stupid rambling about non related content, just enhancement of some truly great entertainment.

One of the most underrated (or unwatched) shows on TV done in the traditionally great Bald Move style! Definitely listen for all you Expanse heads. Also, please watcht the show!

I listen to bald move for all my Westworld and Game of Thrones cravings. Super excited they started covering The Expanse. I stumbled on to the TV show a few weeks ago and binged the first two seasons on Amazon Prime. It is great having the podcast for season 3 to follow along with the episodes. Highly recommended!
