From the beginning of the show with Evan Lazar, to Kadlick and now with Brian Hines, Alex Barth and the CLNS guys offer great insight and well informed and thoughtful commentary and opinions on our beloved Patriots.

I too am sick of the mike drop every 15 seconds. Ruins everything. I am done.... Deleting!

Why have guest hosts when Barth cuts them off constantly? He just spews relentlessly, acts as if his opinion is the only one that matters. Obnoxious and overbearing. There are too many Pats podcasts and this one should go.

Love this podcast. Great info. However, and this is important, your audio is often poor. I don’t know if this is a bad mic thing, a poor internet/wifi thing, or just glitchy, but it makes listening very difficult. This isn’t one episode or even one of your mics - it’s every pod, sometimes with both of your audio. No audio issues with other pods, and I encourage you to listen to your own work. Please invest in some better equipment. Still giving 5 stars for the content and the hope that you’ll make some adjustments. Thanks Go Pats!

When it comes to Patriots Football talk these two jokers should eat their beans and leave their PORK ALONE !

Really enjoyed the show when it was alex and evan. Both were very informative. Mike adds nothing to the show. I have unfollowed and just check back in case there is an interesting topic/subject.

Let’s just say Mikes a better QB than he is podcaster, and he wasn’t a very good QB

Enjoyable listening to in-depth and knowledgeable Patriots discussion

The Patriots coaches are right to expand the offense and stretch what Jones should be doing year 2 — he shouldn’t be limited to a simple offense tailored to a rookie (which is what he did last year and what Zappe is doing now). If Mac can’t expand his game then he ain’t the guy — and I am a Mac supporter. It’s critical to see what Mac can become before we turn to an even less talented alternative (Zappe may have better intangibles, but even worse physical traits)… I don’t blame the coaches at all for expanding the offense — we arent going to win at level expanded with simpleton offense — see last years results against good teams…

I love Alex…but I miss Evan…shows are shorter and not as frequent now that Evan is gone…I like the new host tho Ryan…just, can we please go back to hour long shows and every Tuesday & Thursday please? Need my Patriots with my favorite people

This is the podcast I look forward to most as I listen to a lot of patriots and Boston sports podcasts. Looking forward to the Barth and Lazar show!

Both guys are amazing. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. They should be much more well known

Evan is sensational but Alex is almost unlistenably ignorant. Still worth listening for Evan’s insight Edit: Lowered my rating. Alex is unlistenable lol

Evan’s insight/research is the best Patriots analysis out there right now. He needs a new co-host though, Barth offers nothing. Barth will just re-iterate what Evan says in a less intelligent way, or he’ll pick a straw-man argument about something inconsequential. Need to get Evan a facilitator-type host who will ask him questions.

Evan and Alex provide outstanding insight on Patriots football, with a mix of “analytics lite” and eyeball test savvy. Their friendship and history give the flow of the conversation a charming, listenable vibe. Can’t recommend this podcast highly enough. If you like patriots unfiltered and the Curran/Perry fare, this is another show for you.

How do you let such a bad quality show post?!? The technical difficulties made it unlistenable. Come on.

These two guys offer the most intelligent and researched analysis of the Patriots.

Best guess is that the host doesnt want to come off as a homer, but he seems to go out of his way to paint the Pats as negatively as he can, ignoring facts and allowing guests to misrepresent things. Most recent (and final straw) was the Bengals beat guy who he allowed to spew ridiculous falsities about “Spygate 2.0” and how it must have been going on against the Cowboys, the Chiefs, etc all season, and that the videographer must have known “wink wink” that he’d get praise from football ops for the footage. Come on, man. You have to call people out for spewing that absolute garbage. Unsubscribe.

I recently found this podcast along with others on CLNS Media and I was really impressed with the host Mike Petraglia and his guests. I think it’s made its way into my regular rotation.

Guests may be knowledgeable but if you can’t understand anything they say then what’s the point. Sounds like I’m listening to a bad FM signal. With so many other Patriots podcasts with the same level of insight and better audio there’s no reason to listen to this one. It’s a shame too, I love Evan Lazar on Twitter.

I love me my Patriots news, esepcially being out of the area and having access to great content like this. However, every single time I listen, there are so many distracting noises. I find myself asking questions like: Is the host clipping his nails while listening to the guest? Is he smoking a cigarette? Is he crinkling the foil wrapper on old school sticks of gum? Is he shuffling a bunch of small papers with notes right under the mic? Is his mic brushing up against beard stubble on his face? I suppose it is slightly entertaining to try to come up with origins for the sounds I'm hearing, but oh so distracting from the wonderful content and effort put into the material..

Absolutely horrible the worst podcast ever

Good content but poor sound quality. You can often hear background noise wherever the host is recording this pod. You will also hear papers rustling, pens clicking, throat clearing, etc. The guests on the phone lines often sound like they are calling in on tin cup and string.

Patriots Beat has gone to a new level this season. Adding a talent like Trags to this podcast makes it one of the best Patriots shows around hands down. The knowledge of the host and the quality of guests is second to none and the breakdown of the games and presentation is top notch. If you are not subscribing to the podcast you are missing out!

This has always been one of CLNS better productions but now that Trags is hosting, this is THE BEST. Used to bounce around with Patriots podcasts, no more. Only one I need.

Another great season for the Patriots! A must listen for all of Patriots Nation all year round!

This is one of my favorite patriots podcasts online. The guests constantly offer quality analysis and the host is both funny and personable. I have reccomended this to many friends and we often listen to it at our gameday parties.

Great stuff, gives great previews for upcoming games. Gets deep into the football gameplanning as well

For me I found the podcast to be a solid show. It did not wow me, but I found it informative and it got the points across. It gave a good general overview of the topics that were being talked about. So although I did not find it amazing, I found the show to be solid and gave you the facts and points straight forward. Good work.
