The only thing that bugs me about the pod— besides the mediocre prognostication— is that Sal always steals the fellas’ thunder. Sal, you always announce their picks before they get to speak. Just call on each of the guys and let THEM announce their pick and why they like it. It’ll streamline the whole show.

Though Sal is largely wasted being pigeonholed as the “gambling guy.” For my money he is the best personality in the Ringerverse and I’ve been listening since the very beginning of the ESPN days. He needs to have a more free form pod with more diverse topics and guests. His interview with Molly from Molly’s Game was a revelation. He’s just frigging hilarious and he is always the best in whatever room he’s in. Updated: 9/12/19 Should just be Cousin Sal Podcast and just have the trifecta on once a week. The rest devoted to other guests and topics. He is really being wasted. Updated 6/20 He still needs to untether himself from the trifecta. They would be fine as occasional guests but Sal is too talented to always be saddled with them.

Politics is all the ringer can muster these days...sad. I’m out. Think they are losing massive numbers of listeners and consumers. I’ll go watch actual serious political platforms if I wanted that, I clearly don’t listening to a gambling/sports podcast. Great show this week as Iowa allows gambling. Big news across the country. Took the candidates off the front page for a day.

Great stuff. These guys all get along and cover all the important gambling topics of the day

But these guys always make me laugh. They also come up with some creative bets and usually give some sound criteria for why it’s good bet. I’ve done well going with The Parley Kid.

I want to like these Podcasts. I’m a former college basketball player and coach, having played for 3 HOF coaches. I might have a different point of view compared to the target audience, meaning I understand the marketing of it. That being said, it feels like I’m listening to the writers from the school newspaper talk to the cheerleaders about the team.

Generally enjoy this podcast, particularly Sal's degenerate friends and their picks. The pod has this annoying habit of having the stupidest guests who have nothing to say worth hearing. Len Dykstra was one. He is so whacked out he can't speak in complete sentences. Today i listened to two guys from WWE whom I've never heard of insulting each other endlessly and Sal thought it was highly entertaining. You couldn't be more wrong Sal. Many more guests like these two Bozos and I'll be an ex listener.
