Heisman is suppose to represent the best player in college football. I get it, I’d like to see Cam Ward get it as well, but there’s zero reason to try and downplay Travis Hunter. He is definitely the single best overall athlete in College Football. He doesn’t have to be the best CB or the singularly best WR. This man is playing well over a 100 snaps per game. He has over a 1,000 yards receiving. Hunter is 5th in the nation in receiving yards and yall are sitting there trying to say he’s not even the best receiver on the team. Think about this he doesn’t even practice and prepare full time at Receiver and still has better numbers than 98% of all receivers in college football including our very own Restrepo. This defense was brutal no we wouldn’t have won 10 games without Ward. But I do think if Ward hadn’t come, this would have been a power running, ball control team that limited opposing offenses positions creating less exposure for the defense. So I don’t agree this would have been a below .500 team. Even if Martinez doesn’t come. I think Fletcher, Allen and Lyle would have combined 2000+ yards under a more run dominate offense. Let’s not fool ourselves we threw the ball a ton to showcase Cam. Even when the run game was clicking getting 5 ypc, we still chunked it around.

If you all are going to break the entire podcast down in segments, at least upload them in correct order. It’s frustrating trying to find the correct order to listen. Just post the entire pod not separated.

I enjoy the podcast, but why am I getting additional Miami Heat & Miami Dolphins content? I'm here for the CANES. I'm sure there is an audience for the other material, but I don't think it belongs on the 5 rings: A CANES THING podcast. Otherwise, I enjoy the guys and the Canes related information/opinions.

They talk longer about lawnmower 3.0 then canes

Way too much time spent on promoting the sponsors. Keep promotions shorter.

The content is great when they get to it, but for a 40 min podcast, you get about 15 mins of excessive ads. I understand needing some ads, but I find myself skipping through half the podcast to get to the canes content. Also sick and tired of hearing the ball shaving story... it’s TMI.

I listen to about 7 Miami Hurricanes podcast, and while the information is good. The majority of this podcast are commercials.

Great podcast but need to figure out a better way to plug in their advertisements without being overbearing. I understand Manscape is a sponsor but please... I don’t want to hear any more about your ball shaving experiences! I do enjoy your take on the Hurricanes though!

The first 5 minutes of every episode is commercials and then they do another 5 minutes in the middle of the episode. In a 30 minute episode 1/3 is commercials. Do better man!!!

Really like listening to bluestein and donno. Don’t like Ivins and lake too much.

Phenomenal podcast. I wish they’d do them on a more consistent basis, but they’re pretty great.

This one came out of nowhere before the season started last year and it's been outstanding out of the gate. Even if you're coming in late, a lot of these are worth going back for due to the amazing interviews.
