ajce1130Thank you for being here! This show has been so great as a new Mama- From tips to hearing from others; i recommend it to other new moms to listen to!
-
megburger16Good, but could be betterGood topics. I just wish there were less ads and more content. I’m listening to an episode and it took almost 5 min of ads to actually get to the start of the show
-
wifeylooToo much fluffI was excited to come across this podcast but listening has been very difficult especially after I had my baby. New moms or even SAHMs don’t have this much time to go through a 1 hour podcast where only 15 minutes contains the information we need. Too many ads also.

S.Alt93Lack of evidenceSomeone else said it. A lot of opinion. Not a lot of evidence backed information. I find that this can be discouraging and damaging to new parents that don’t fit the mold of these opinions.
-
jwm_pdInteresting Topics, Easy listeningThe podcast always has an interesting topic that’s relevant to new parents. Has definitely been helpful to hear the perspectives of the guests and host.

laprofemónicaGreat show!Oh my word, this has been so enlightening. I have learned so much. Great tip and amazing podcast! The host’s voice is perfect — so friendly, congenial and exciting. Looking forward to the next episode already.

Wow in the World rules!!Not true!!Okay to start everyone who says that it starts for the first ten minutes of ads that is so not true it is exactly thirty seconds of ads. It’s an excellent podcast with lots of information I give it five stars ⭐️
-
Kpnewton2More ads than contentYou have to skip about ten minutes ahead to actually hear the content. As a new mom, I don’t have that kind of brain capacity! I dropped this podcast from my rotation because of the multitude of ads/fluff.

tntt1323Too many commercialsI want to love this podcast so much because it has lots of good info and the women on hear are really knowledgeable. I like to go listen to podcasts when I’m working or driving but I can’t with this one because there are SO many commercials I’m always having to go back to my phone to fast forward! And the episodes are only like 30 minutes, so there’s 10 minutes of commercials it just isn’t enough time per episode. I have two hour podcasts that I listen to with as many commercials as this one 😩 it’s just too much.

Ashlyn Nicole DPostpartum Preparation ❤️I love the Newbies Podcast. When I was in my first trimester I started listening and realized what I was going through was a form of depression. Shortly after this realization I entered into my 2nd trimester and felt so much better. I really dove in more wanting to learn more & prepare for postpartum. I am now in my third trimester, only 5 weeks left and listening to a most recent episode of postpartum anxiety (whether I will have this or not) I want to prepare now. Thank you thank you thank you for helping me with this journey of life and helping me prepare as much as I can. The little reminders here and there that things will not always go the way we want is helpful and reassuring.

CoffeeandJesus18Hope givingThis podcast gives me so much hope that I’m not a crazy first time mom who is messing up my kid! Ha! Thank you so much to the producers of this podcast!

Jones471First 5 minutes are AdsWay too many ads in the beginning. Episodes aren’t about what the title says it is. Waste of time. Too much fluff.

kayemgee924Golden nugget surrounded by too much fluffI love listening to the professionals and the panels take about their experience. I’m so thankful to have a family of podcasts to help me prepare for all stages of parenthood. The speakers are non-judgmental and realistic. I also think the headline segment and “baby oops” segments are very interesting/timely. I usually skip forward to about the 10 minute mark. Things like ads, app reviews, and small talk beforehand drive me crazy. This is only a 30 minute show - the agenda needs to be trimmed WAY down. I can’t stand when I’m listening to a 5 minute segment only to realize at the end that it’s promoting a product I’m not going to buy. Despite this, I’ve listened to a lot of postnatal podcasts and this is by far my favorite. When it comes to the topic at hand, it has a good balance of professional and personal advice. I feel much better prepared for what is to come.
-
beccajbirdMeh...I think this is somewhat helpful but not extremely. It is basically them getting opinions and people who specialize in the opinion to come on and tell you why you should do that thing but none of it is actually evidence based. It’s all anecdotal. So, if you want to listen to reviews of different methods, this could be helpful. If you want real guidance, it’s not the podcast for that.

rosie 628263&2&Thanks goodness for NewbiesI am 33 weeks pregnant and didn’t find Newbies until about half through my pregnancy. I love that they don’t act as “experts” just real moms experiencing real things and sharing their stories. Then they bring in experts where needed. Wish I would have found them earlier on!

Jesssie13Must ListenAs a first time mom, this podcast is a must have. Full of info that address pertinent questions, these podcasts never sit in my podcast feed long before I just have to listen!
-
Hb555No fathers? And too many commercials! My husband and I are expecting our first child and listening to tons of parenting podcasts together. This one seems to have a lot of info we want, but it’s only geared towards mom? As though women do this in a vacuum? Also, there’s five minutes of commercials before an episode even starts. No thanks.

Sam231990So much knowledge!I’ve been listening since before I became pregnant with baby #2! And let me just tell you, there’s a topic for everything that you can think of! I’m also subscribed to all of the other podcasts from this network... boob group, pregie pals, parent savers. I just wish they had topics about preemie care... I haven’t found anything preemie anywhere... and I could really use some preemie podcasts now since baby #2 is a preemie!
-
Kara GentryListen to on a daily basisI listen to their podcast on a daily basis while at work. I have gotten so much helpful info. I am pregnant with baby #2 and always looking for pointers and this has been the best podcast providing helpful info on just about everything!

Kaiser SosoUghThis woman sounds so insincere. Are we a my little pony voice actor or a podcaster.

OverYourRerunsThought this was useful but...I’m an expecting father and have started listening to prepare myself. This podcast seemed pretty legit and packed with information, but then they bring in a question from a listener about taking their child to a chiropractor for reflux or colic. To answer they had a chiropractor recommend chiropractics. Chiropractors are not doctors nor should anyone be allowed to adjust an adults’ or infants’ bodies. The largest study on chiropractics showed 70% of patients reported increased pain or additional injury after chiropractics. This is simply not information anyone should be passing along for infant care. I’m sure everyone will just equate this review to my non experience as a parent. To each their own, but I’ll be finding another podcast

agalletlySo many commercials and unrelated topics in the beginning. When does the episode actually start??!?!?

EmilyvannahI’m a newbieI am currently pregnant due in late April and I’ve really enjoyed listening to newbies. It’s been helpful to listen about subjects that are going to become reality very soon. I love that there is normally a expert and a group of women or men discussing how the subject was for them and their family. I think it leads to great conversation and multiple points of view. I also love the preggie pals podcast as well! I listen to them at lunch and on the way to and from work. Ill continue suggesting the podcasts to any friends that are pregnant.
-
DbeloveWhy so many commercials?!I want to like this podcast because I think the information within can be really helpful and valuable for new mothers, but jeeze, 12 min of commercials before they even get into the show?! What a waste of my time!

Beth2626Very informative and relatableYour podcast is so informative and helpful. I enjoy and find it relatable as you share stories and experiences and also provide information about the topic. It’s hard to find good podcasts sometimes that aren’t too drawn out and boring, but I find I’m always interested in your entire show. Can’t wait to listen to more! Thanks!

KtmccllghPregnant and new mommas: subscribe to all new Mommy media podcastsWhen I was pregnant I wanted to learn as much as possible and I found the Preggie Pals podcast. I binge listened to all of them. Once I had my baby and returned back to work I was craving a connection and something and someone to relate to and all of the other New Mommy Media podcasts helped get me through. They gave me a release and reassurance and gave me a way to relate to other mommas and their experiences. There is a definite pattern to all of the episodes that you get used to after a few listens. The only reason I doc a star is because sometimes the transition into an ad is abrupt and startling.
-
CtbhamRange of topics, too much fillerThese ladies seem to cover every new mom subject under the sun, but I end up abandoning most episodes after a few minutes because it takes them FOREVER to get to the point. Today there was a topic very relevant to me and it took them over 12 minutes to get to the discussion with the expert.

LittleMissGlassesGiving peace of mind.My fiancé and I are having our first baby & this Podcast is fabulous. There is so much great info and advice from professionals& other parents. They talk about stuff that never ever crossed my mind to ask. That & being a Podcast, it’s so easy to listen to this whenever. It helps me and my fiancé to have guided parenting talks and just enjoy our adventure together.

Eleanor642Mixed feelingsThe topics are great for first time moms. I especially appreciated the series on postpartum mental health! The format could use improvement. The expert reviews are much more helpful than the "panelist" discussions. The host sounds like she's reading from a script way too much. I fast forward though a lot of the episodes.

User123958Informative and RelevantReally enjoy the show even now as my baby is 10 months old, still interesting and relevant!

Stephie Jo AdamsAddicted to Newbies! My name is Stephanie, I'm a FTM due September 2017. I have been binge listening to Newbies, BoobGroup, and Preggie Pals. They have been so fun and informative with out the stuffy feel that some mommy pod casts have. New Mommy Media is my favorite! I recommend it often to my mommy friends. A must listen for new moms!

Bridget E YoungInfant Feeding Professional & Mom of 2!Great show - love the great info on real-life topics delivered with the humor we all need!

JamminPopperLove the shows!I am a first time mom of a 4month old! I love listening to the show on my way home from work because it reminds me that I'm not alone and I'm not the only one with these questions about poop and bottles and car seats. I always love the hosts and panelists because they are very relatable and relevant. I feel like we're all just a bunch of moms hanging out around a table chatting about our concerns and experiences. I can't tell you how many times I've sat in my car laughing or nodding my head along with the conversation. Thanks! Keep up the great work!
-
MollyM1133Relevant to my lifeI am due next month with my first child and I love listening to Newbies. They pick topics that are on my mind and the about 30 minute time frame is great for when I can't sleep at night.
-
Therapist to momsTherapistNew Mommy Media and Newbies in particular is such a fantastic resource for new moms and dads! They think about the topics and questions that all parents have on their mind and they actually have a conversation about it! It is so helpful when I can send my clients to listen in on an episode that addresses a theme we are working on in sessions.
-
StarrynightsunlightGreat informationI listen this in preparation for having my own Newbie soon, God willing. Thank you for making this show!
